Su Yang stood inside the mountain cave and was surprised to see the other end of the cave.
Initially, he thought this valley was enclosed by mist, with a lake as its base and surrounded by mountains, completely trapping these fierce beasts inside.
Who would have thought that this cave was actually a passage through?
Doesn't this an that by walking out of this cave, one could leave the valley?
Su Yang was filled with doubt. If it were truly possible to leave the valley this way, why haven't these fierce beasts left? Could it be that these beasts are fond of this valley?
Su Yang recalled when he and the plump fellow arrived, these fierce beasts even tried to leave the valley from above, showing that they really didn't want to stay here.
However, if they wanted to leave, why haven't they used the exit?
Su Yang suspiciously glanced at the giant snake curled up in the distance. This creature didn't seem easygoing; if there was a way out, it certainly wouldn't stay here. There must be a reason for not leaving, right?
Nonetheless, Su Yang couldn't think of too many reasons now; he was keen on leaving the valley.
He had explored the valley thoroughly and found no way out. Now, here was an exit, and he had to give it a try no matter what.
"Zi'er, follow !" Su Yang cautioned, taking Jiang Zi'er along as they cautiously ran toward the cave entrance.
He wasn't sure what dangers lay ahead, but with the illusion of Devouring the World, he felt sowhat reassured.
The distance was not short; they ran for over half an hour before reaching the cave's edge.
Upon reaching this side, Su Yang looked outside and froze. Surprisingly, this cave exit also led to a massive valley. Most crucially, this valley, too, was filled with fierce beasts—extrely formidable ones—no different from the previous valley!
At this mont, a fierce beast noticed Su Yang and imdiately charged at him.
Startled, Su Yang rushed forward out of the cave. The illusion of Devouring the World followed closely, its awe-inspiring eyes locking onto the beast.
The beast halted abruptly in mid-air, instantly turning and fleeing without delay.
The surrounding beasts that noticed Su Yang had also been roaring, but now they all froze and dared not make a sound.
Just like the previous beasts, these too were terrified by the illusion behind Su Yang, making no move at all.
Su Yang was puzzled; the beasts in this valley were also afraid of the illusion?
Though shocked, it was good news for Su Yang. If the beasts weren't afraid of the illusion, it would have been truly troubleso—rushing in would've been akin to a death wish!
Looking back at the cave, Su Yang was bewildered. Now he understood why the beasts hadn't left through the cave. Even crossing through the cave rely led to another valley, still trapped within them, just switching from one valley to another without real escape!
Su Yang was speechless. He hadn't imagined that the valleys were like this. Were the two valleys interconnected? Could the beasts in these valleys move between them?
In this valley, Su Yang closely observed the surroundings, only to find it much like the previous one.
Above was the sa mist, impenetrable, and below was a vast lake, its condition indistinguishable from above.
Those fierce beasts, upon seeing the illusion of Devouring the World, curled into their caves without daring to erge. The scene was silent as Su Yang and Jiang Zi'er flew around, and the beasts didn't dare make a sound.
Su Yang was baffled. What exactly was happening? Were these valleys really connected?
Yet, Su Yang rembered his visit to this valley. Nearby in a several-hundred-mile range, there was no second valley. Why, after traversing the cave for half an hour, had he reached another valley? What was going on?
Another question was how many interconnected valleys existed?
With doubts in mind, Su Yang found another cave, drove away the beasts inside, and went in.
The situation in this cave was similar to the previous one, with a large opening at the other end.
Su Yang, taking Jiang Zi'er, passed through this cave, and indeed, arrived at another valley, identical to the previous two.
Su Yang was completely baffled. He couldn't accept defeat and continued traversing these valleys with Jiang Zi'er. After passing through several dozen valleys, the situation remained largely the sa.
Su Yang observed closely: the conditions in these valleys were fundantally similar, differing only slightly in the types of beasts, with no other noticeable differences.
Seeing this, not only Su Yang, but even Jiang Zi'er was stunned. She looked around at the beasts in astonishnt and asked, "Su Alliance Leader, how many valleys are there? When will this endless crossing conclude?"
Su Yang was equally puzzled, having traveled for so long, he had the sa question. What was the deal with all these valleys? How many fierce beasts were sealed in these interconnected valleys?
Each of these beasts was incredibly formidable. It would take a trendously powerful being to seal so many beasts here!
The mist above and the lake below seed unchanged, though.
The mist was fine, but the lake below was crucial.
Su Yang rembered clearly that there were people within the lake.
Now, Su Yang vaguely felt that these lakes and the mist above appeared to be identical. That is to say, the sa mist enveloped all these valleys, and the sa lake lay at their bottom.
If this was true, then wouldn't the people in the lakes of so many valleys be the sa person?
Although Su Yang had previously suspected this, it was rely a guess. Now, he felt the likelihood of this conjecture was substantial!
If it was the sa person, who could this person be?
