After the red light restored peace, everything returned to calm.
Su Yang was placed on the leaves by the vines, which gradually settled down.
Standing at the edge of the leaves, Su Yang stared intently at the gap, hoping to see what was happening with Qi'er. But, he still couldn't see anything.
Helplessly, Su Yang could only sit cross-legged on the leaves and wait.
However, there wasn't the slightest bit of movent below; the silhouette originally in the gap had now vanished without a trace. As for the masked person, they were completely gone, as if no one had been there at all.
Su Yang waited on the leaves for an unknown amount of ti, until so changes occurred around him, bringing him back to his senses.
Turning his head, he saw that the small gourd he saw earlier was slowly starting to shake.
Su Yang couldn't help but be surprised, what was this small gourd up to?
At this mont, the Golden Phoenix and the Three-legged Colorful Crow beca excited, both flying off. The Golden Phoenix chose the small gourd that Su Yang spotted earlier, while the Three-legged Colorful Crow located another small gourd elsewhere; both opened their mouths wide, aiming at the small gourds, as if awaiting sothing.
Su Yang was utterly confused, what was going on? Were these two waiting to be fed?
Although uncertain of the situation, it was undoubtedly beneficial.
Su Yang quickly started running around the area and eventually found another small gourd.
At this mont, a crystal-clear droplet appeared at the mouth of the small gourd, as if it was about to drip out.
Su Yang didn't know what this was, but recalling the actions of the two creatures earlier, he guessed they were also drawn to this liquid.
Su Yang quickly extended his hand to catch the droplet about to fall.
Holding it in his hand, Su Yang clearly felt the droplet was filled with dense Spiritual Energy.
This was different from the Spiritual Liquid ford from condensed Spiritual Energy; this Spiritual Energy seed distilled from the Spiritual Liquid, far purer by thousands of tis, absolutely the Spirit Liquid Essence.
Su Yang was stunned; the re existence of Spiritual Liquid could shock many. Unexpectedly, there was sothing a thousand tis purer than Spiritual Liquid—this was beyond imagination.
No wonder those two creatures were so excitedly waiting with their mouths open, and no wonder they could grow so quickly. It turns out, it was all thanks to these small gourds!
Su Yang looked at the Spirit Liquid Essence in his hand, initially intending to swallow it whole. However, he suddenly realized this essence seed incompatible with him. Holding it, he was unable to absorb any of its power.
Su Yang was perplexed, why couldn't he absorb the Spirit Liquid Essence? If he truly couldn't absorb it, swallowing it would have no effect?
At this ti, the Golden Phoenix and the Three-legged Colorful Crow also flew over to Su Yang's side. The two creatures seed drunk, wobbling as they approached. Seeing Su Yang holding the Spirit Liquid Essence, they showed no intention of snatching it, apparently having enough to digest for a while.
The Golden Phoenix landed on Su Yang's shoulder, waving its wings shakily to gesture.
Su Yang finally understood that the creature was indicating he couldn't consu it.
"Damn!" Su Yang couldn't help but curse, such a good thing, and he couldn't consu it?
"What do we do now?" Su Yang asked, "Hide it away and let you two split it next ti?"
The Golden Phoenix shook its head, gesturing again to Su Yang, indicating that the item wouldn't preserve for long.
Su Yang was stunned; if it couldn't be preserved, and he couldn't consu it, while the two couldn't finish it, it would be wasted?
The Golden Phoenix gestured again, prompting Su Yang to bring out the Little Turtle.
Su Yang's eyes lit up, perhaps the Little Turtle could consu it?
He promptly retrieved the Little Turtle, which was still in a deep sleep. Su Yang placed it beside the Spirit Liquid Essence, and the little creature sniffed before suddenly opening its eyes, seemingly drawn by sothing.
The sight naturally fell upon the Spirit Liquid Essence. Instantly excited, the Little Turtle scrambled with its limbs, mouth wide open, lunging toward the essence.
Su Yang quickly pulled his hand away, glancing at the Golden Phoenix, and asked with a frown, "Will it be okay if it consus this?"
The Golden Phoenix responded with a gesture of assurance; Su Yang then relaxed, feeding the droplet to the Little Turtle.
After consuming the Spirit Liquid Essence, the Little Turtle imdiately fell asleep again, with no visible changes, simply snoring away.
However, Su Yang vaguely felt the Little Turtle's aura was transforming. The single droplet had begun altering its body.
Seeing the Little Turtle was unaffected, Su Yang breathed a sigh of relief and couldn't help but cast another glance at the small gourd.
He hadn't imagined the small gourd had such effects, able to produce such Spirit Liquid Essence.
No wonder the three Crystal Skulls stole the small gourd; honestly, even Su Yang himself felt a bit tempted looking at it now.
Yet, despite the temptation, Su Yang was well aware that attempting to steal the small gourd now would be akin to seeking death; he could only covet from afar.
After about another day, the gap below began to slowly close, as if it were sealing up.
Su Yang could see clearly from the leaves, eyes widening in disbelief, what was going on?
It was vital to know Qi'er was still in that gap. If it closed, what about Qi'er?
Truth be told, the trunk of that giant tree was extrely tough. At Su Yang's current strength, even with a powerful, unmatched blade, he couldn't budge the bark, let alone open a gap.
If the gap closed, Su Yang couldn't save Qi'er.
Thus, Su Yang started thinking of jumping down to rescue Qi'er. However, those vines were even more vigilant than him; as soon as he approached the edge, several vines chased fiercely, giving him no chance to leap down.
"Hey, what exactly are you two doing?" Su Yang couldn't help but shout at the Golden Phoenix and Three-legged Colorful Crow, "The gap is about to close, Qi'er is trapped inside, don't you want to save her?"
The two creatures remained calm, with the Golden Phoenix still flapping its wings, signaling Su Yang not to worry.
"Damn it, how can I not worry?" Su Yang shouted angrily, "Once the trunk closes, how do we save Qi'er?"
