Su Yang’s all-out strike was extrely terrifying in power.
Even though this lion was incredibly strong, after being hit by Su Yang’s blow, it still suffered severe injuries and coughed up several mouthfuls of blood.
However, the lion still showed no sign of retreating. Instead, it charged even more wildly toward Su Yang, as if it were determined to fight him to the death.

Left with no other choice, Su Yang ultimately had to kill the lion brutally. He didn’t know what was up with the lion, but he figured it was a challenge sent by the Martial Champion?
As he exerted all his strength to slay the lion, Su Yang suddenly noticed, to his astonishnt, a tiny red dot in the lion’s eye.
The lion’s body was massive, and its eyes were enormous like the sun and moon in the sky. That red dot was extrely small, deep within the lion’s eye. If one didn’t look carefully, it was impossible to notice—Su Yang discovered it purely by accident.
Su Yang couldn’t help but be a bit surprised; why were the lion’s eyes like this? Could this be a kind of mutation?
Even with such doubts, Su Yang finally slayed the lion.
Looking at the massive lion’s corpse in the air, Su Yang was originally planning to study it. Who’d have thought, the lion’s body turned to nothing and vanished into thin air shortly after dying.
Su Yang widened his eyes, startled by what was happening.
Before he could fathom the situation, another roar resonated from above.
Su Yang looked up to see two Fierce Beasts arriving this ti. One was a Jiao Long radiating Qing Guang, and the other was a massive three-legged boar, leaping down.
"What on earth?" Su Yang muttered in surprise. How are there so many Fierce Beasts in this place?
But now wasn’t the ti for Su Yang to ponder these things, and he had to fight with all his strength against these two Fierce Beasts.
This ti, Su Yang didn’t hold back; he realized these Fierce Beasts were fighting desperately. Unless he killed them, they would not cease their assault.
Fighting with full power, Su Yang quickly slew the Qing Guang Jiao Long. However, the fighting ability of the three-legged boar was unexpectedly high, much stronger than any dragon Su Yang had seen before.
Mainly, it was because this three-legged boar had thick skin and was very resilient.
After the Qing Guang Jiao Long was killed, it too turned to nothing and disappeared.
Su Yang frowned and once more prepared to slay the three-legged boar. At that mont, four more Fierce Beasts descended, roaring and lunging toward him.
"What’s going on?" Su Yang practically spat blood, baffled by where all these Demon Beasts were coming from.
Yet, he dared not avoid the confrontation, for the Martial Champion had told him that if he let these beasts through, they would invade the Human World, sothing he absolutely could not allow.
Therefore, Su Yang could only try with all his might to fend off all these Demon Beasts.
These Demon Beasts were all extrely tough. The three-legged boar endured the brunt of Su Yang’s attacks at the front, while the other beasts attacked from different directions, putting Su Yang in a sowhat disordered state with several more injuries appearing on his body.
In his extre anger, Su Yang beca uncontrollably furious, shouting loudly. His body suddenly expanded several thousand ters high, transforming into a giant sky-supporting figure to battle the five Demon Beasts.
With Su Yang’s transformation into this giant form, his power increased significantly. Of course, such transformation demanded a substantial energy expenditure.
However, Su Yang had plenty of Spirit Liquid Essence on him, providing quick replenishnt and allowing his energy to recover quickly.
In continuous retaliation, Su Yang seized an opportunity to grab one of the Demon Beasts in his hand. Pulling hard with both hands, he tore the beast in two. Simultaneously, Su Yang pulled out the Space Artifact he carried and prepared to store the beast inside.
Just then, the Demon Beast dissolved into nothingness, disappearing again, leaving Su Yang with no way to keep any of them.
"Ah!" Su Yang grew angrier; what on earth, how could these creatures be so peculiar?
He gave up on trying to retain any of the Demon Beasts, focusing all his strength on slaughtering them in another round of frenzied combat.
During this period, several more Demon Beasts joined the fray. In the end, Su Yang managed to kill seventeen Demon Beasts, receiving several major injuries himself, losing half the flesh on one side of his body, revealing ghastly white bones.
Once everything was resolved, only then did the Martial Champion appear by his side.
"How was it?" the Martial Champion asked.
Su Yang, watching the Void cautiously, replied in consternation, "What the hell was that? How could there be so many Demon Beasts?"
"This is the threat from the cosmos!" the Martial Champion explained. "In the cosmos, there are Beastmasters who herds Demon Beasts to attack the Nine Realms. However, the Nine Realms are shielded by a barrier, and these Demon Beasts can only enter the Human World through special passages. The Jieyue Tower is one such passage, and that’s primarily why I’m stationed here!"
"Ah?" Su Yang was flabbergasted. Previously, he had heard the Martial Champion ntion threats from the cosmos but hadn’t known what sort of threats they were. Now he understood.
"Beastmasters?" Su Yang echoed the term in disbelief. What kind of person could herd these Demon Beasts? Their power must be imnse!
"That’s what we in the Nine Realms call them; it’s unclear what they’re actually called," the Martial Champion explained. "They should not be the owners of the Demon Beasts—at least, that’s what a Saint once said!"
"If they’re not the owners, then do the Demon Beasts have actual owners?" Su Yang asked in shock. "With Demon Beasts so fearso and nurous, what on earth must their owners be like?"
The Martial Champion shrugged. "No one knows, or perhaps even the Saints have never seen the owners. Alternatively, the owners may not even care for a place like the Nine Realms, leaving it for the Beastmasters to manage, too disinterested to show themselves!"
Su Yang was dumbfounded. Is the Nine Realms that insignificant?
"Today is the hunting day!" The Martial Champion looked at the starry sky and said softly, "The Defenders on the moon’s far side have all gone out hunting. During such hunts, Demon Beasts often take the opportunity to enter through the passages, seeking to invade the Nine Realms. At this ti, I’m busiest; I must wholly defend the Jieyue Tower to ensure the Nine Realms’ safety!"
