The three were stunned; they knelt out of sheer fright and desperation, not truly hopeful. Who would've thought Su Yang would actually spare them?
The other two, seeing this, quickly knelt and pleaded for rcy, too. At this point, dignity ant little, for reaching this cultivation level wasn't easy, and none wished to lose their lives here!
"Su Yang, you can't let them go!" Ye Wantong quickly whispered, "If we release them and soone reports, the matter of the divine artifact will beco known across the Nine Realms!"
Su Yang nodded with a faint smile, signaling her not to worry.
Descending before the five, Su Yang suddenly extended his hand, and the illusion of Devouring the World reappeared.
The five lacked ti to react as the power from their bodies was mostly drained by Su Yang.
Su Yang also shuddered, as half of the power absorbed by Devouring the World entered his body. If not for his strong current capabilities, he couldn't withstand such imnse power either.
After taking a few deep breaths, Su Yang managed to thoroughly digest the power.
As for the five individuals, they could barely stand now. Their powers mostly extracted by Su Yang, coupled with their significant injuries, left little room for resistance.
"Death is spared, but living punishnt is unavoidable," Su Yang remarked with a faint smile, "However, considering your sincere repentance, I'll let this pass once. Next ti, I hope you won't repeat such actions!"
Having said that, Su Yang turned away, addressing the crowd, "Let's go!"
"Huh?" The crowd was puzzled, unsure why Su Yang would leave these people behind.
The five were also bewildered, wondering if Su Yang intended to leave them here.
They hardly had the power left now; even at peak strength, they couldn't leave here. Su Yang's intention seed to be imprisoning them on this planet entirely.

"Killing them wouldn't matter much," Su Yang replied, "Leaving them here has a purpose!"

The others suddenly understood Su Yang's idea. The planet had many mysteries needing exploration; using these individuals as an experint was indeed the best choice, much more effective than aimless conjecture.
