The Second City Lord followed Su Yang for a while in this area before he couldn’t help but ask, "Boss, what exactly are we doing here?"
Su Yang explained the situation of his recent entrance. The Great City Lord scratched his head and said, "That’s not right, Boss. When we ca in, we weren’t in this position!"
"You weren’t here?" Su Yang was taken aback, as he thought everyone ended up in the sa spot upon entering.
"We ca in over by the creek." The Great City Lord said.
Su Yang looked towards the creek, which was quite a distance from where he was. It seed his assumption was wrong; the exit and entrance to this space were not fixed.
In this way, finding an exit would be even harder. Though the area wasn’t large, finding an unfixed exit wasn’t an easy task.
Su Yang couldn’t help but ponder in his heart, how did his mother manage to get out when she entered here years ago?
After thinking for a while, Su Yang suddenly recalled sothing: knowing his mother’s character, surely she wouldn’t have entered without leaving so kind of trace?
This place, the Guardian God likely knows it well, but the Human Clan would surely be unfamiliar with it. Given how ticulously his mother usually approached things, might she have left clues here for the Human Clan to find their way out?
With this thought, Su Yang imdiately stood up. He took out the Jade Pendant that his mother left years ago, slowly placing it in midair. Simultaneously, he sent a portion of his Divine Sense into the Jade Pendant, starting to sense the surrounding conditions through it.
This was a function of the Jade Pendant that Su Yang had discovered later; its unique aura could linger for a long ti.
Su Yang wasn’t sure if the aura left by his mother was still present, but he could only try this way.
Surprisingly, Su Yang’s thod worked. Before long, he sensed so aura, precisely the aura left by the Jade Pendant before.
Su Yang felt elated, held his breath, focused his mind, and mapped out the trajectory of this aura in his mind.
As Su Yang speculated, his mother had indeed gone to the Immortal Palace after entering here. Moreover, she had actually gone to the location of the Qing Guang and lingered there for a while. His guess was correct; the Qing Guang was indeed left by his mother, used to seal the passage to the Guardian Land.
Next, Su Yang led three Crystal Skulls, slowly following the route his mother once walked.
After the first round, Su Yang and the group found nothing. After the second round, they still found nothing.
Upon reaching the third round, the Great City Lord suddenly stopped at one of the positions.
"What’s wrong?" Su Yang imdiately asked.
The Great City Lord didn’t speak, only furrowing his brows and observing the surroundings carefully.
He took a step back, then two steps forward, and suddenly jumped up, disappearing before everyone’s eyes.
"What’s going on? What’s going on?" The Second City Lord exclaid.
Su Yang widened his eyes. The Great City Lord was gone; where could he have gone? Did he already leave the Array and get out?
Not long after, a shout suddenly ca from afar: "Boss, Boss!"
All three turned to look and saw the Great City Lord sprinting towards them.
A bunch of skeletons followed him, but upon seeing Su Yang, they promptly retreated.
"Why did you go there?" Su Yang asked curiously.
"I didn’t go there, I went out!" The Great City Lord said excitedly. "After I went out, I ca back in and appeared over there!"
"You went out?" Su Yang asked in shock, "You... Those few steps you took just now, that’s the way out?"
"Yes!" The Great City Lord laughed. "This place has a bunch of Overlapping Spaces; it’s just that we can’t perceive them. When I walked the second round on this route, I felt the path was peculiar. Following your route, after dissecting the path, I managed to walk out of this Overlapping Space directly!"
"Is that so!?" Su Yang was bewildered; this exit was too hidden, wasn’t it? How could anyone find an exit within a bunch of Overlapping Spaces under normal circumstances?
"Let’s get out quickly!" Su Yang imdiately followed the Great City Lord’s previous thod and tried it himself.
Indeed, after Su Yang made a jump, he directly walked out of that mist and stood inside the Main God Hall.
The battle in the Main God Hall was still raging on; Kunpeng and the Great Main God had reached a fevered pitch.
Inside the Main God Hall, only the two of them remained, and most of the hall had been dismantled. As for the others, they were engaged in battles outside, unable to withstand the aftermath of the two’s fight inside.
However, at this mont, the Great Main God’s expression looked grim. He originally thought that upon entering the Array, Su Yang was surely dood. Yet, upon seeing the Great City Lord erged from the Array earlier, he realized the situation was dire.
Just as he anticipated, not long after, Su Yang also leapt out, making him feel as if struck by a thunderclap.
The feeling was not because his well-planned sche failed, but because he couldn’t fathom how Su Yang managed to co out of this Array alive!
He knew the situation within the Array very well. Previously, the Holy Daughter, with her imnse strength, had entered and suffered a severe blow. If not for having that bone as protection, she wouldn’t have survived.
Hence, in his view, this ti Su Yang entered, with certain death looming. Those ancient Guardian Gods’ skeletons absolutely wouldn’t let Su Yang leave alive.
But the current situation completely contradicted his expectations; Su Yang actually ca out. Furthermore, he erged in less ti than the Holy Daughter previously, which utterly shocked him.
When the Holy Daughter entered before, despite having the bone for protection, she was chased for quite a while by the skeletons inside, barely managing to escape them.
Su Yang spent such a short ti to get out; could it be that the skeletons inside didn’t obstruct him? Or did sothing happen inside?
Growing alard at the thought, the Great Main God’s expression changed drastically.
Others might not be clear, but he surely knew. The Immortal Palace inside the Array was the Guardian God’s most treasured possession.
The skeletons outside the Immortal Palace had been ancient warriors from ancient tis, swearing to protect the palace with their lives. In that era filled with mighty beings, these skeletons were among the elite of the Guardian Gods.
These ancestors fought to the death for the Immortal Palace, revealing the importance of the palace. If sothing truly happened to the Immortal Palace this ti, then indeed he had committed a grave mistake!
