Chapter 1111: Chapter 1110 Lin Qingxue
“Thanks!”
After Hao Jian made a small path, the girl leapt into her seat and flashed him a smile.
“You’re welco!”
Glancing indifferently at this exceedingly beautiful girl, Hao Jian chuckled softly, then lowered his head to handle so issues on his phone.
Seeing this, the woman was intrigued. After all, she was a beauty, and n usually reacted to her, but today, the man next to her seed so calm?!
What a strange person…
The woman shook her head slightly and picked up her phone from her bag, soon imrsing herself in its world, her fingers tapping away, occasionally smiling, clearly chatting with soone.
Ti passed, and five or six minutes later, all the seats in this train carriage were filled with people, many accompanied by acquaintances, creating a lively atmosphere.
“Hello, I’m Lin Qingxue. Can I get to know you?”
Just as Hao Jian was about to put away his phone and rest his eyes, Lin Qingxue suddenly tapped his shoulder, making him reluctantly open his eyes and turn towards the stunning woman next to him.
“Hao Jian.”
After introducing himself, Hao Jian smiled and nodded, saying, “Sure.”
He felt a bit bored now, and since Lin Qingxue wanted to chat, it was a good way to pass the ti. After all, chatting with such an attractive woman was a great pleasure.
“Are you a student?”
Lin Qingxue smiled and assessed Hao Jian, noticing his slightly cheap clothing. And with the new school term approaching, perhaps he was a student heading to school…
Hearing this, Hao Jian chuckled speechlessly. Did he look that young?
“No…”
Hao Jian shook his head, smiling faintly.
“Then you are…”
Seeing Hao Jian shake his head, Lin Qingxue was a bit curious and was about to ask further when a figure appeared, arrogantly seating himself across from Hao Jian, muttering as he did.
“Damn it, a lousy train station can’t even sell a soft sleeper ticket?”
“If it wasn’t for Hua City’s smog, would I, the young master, ditch my perfectly good plane to take this stinky, ugly, and cheap train?!”
The man’s voice was not at all concealed, almost as if he wanted to ensure others heard him, raising his muttering to catch attention, which indeed drew several people’s eyes towards him.
Noticing these gazes, the man proudly pursed his lips, but said nothing further. As he intended to continue muttering, his eyes t Lin Qingxue’s face.
“Beauty…”
Upon seeing Lin Qingxue, the man’s eyes widened in a daze, but after a second or two, he snapped back to reality, his eyes lit up, and he quickly rose from his seat.
“Miss, I’m Lai Zhiwen, a first-year student at Hua City Business University. It’s a pleasure to et you!”
With that, Lai Zhiwen extended his hand to Lin Qingxue, his pale yet sowhat long fingers in front of her, leaving Lin Qingxue speechless.
She knew of Hua City Business University, which at best could be considered a top-tier school, but was nowhere near the level of Hua City University, one of Huaxia’s top institutions.
Lin Qingxue was heading to Hua City to attend Hua City University as a first-year student, and she hadn’t expected to et another freshman from a Hua City university in the carriage.
“Sigh, if it wasn’t for the heavy smog in Hua City, I’d have flown my family’s private jet there already. Why would I squeeze into a train?”
Before Lin Qingxue could respond, Lai Zhiwen lanted with a helpless sigh. Despite his words, Hao Jian clearly observed a sense of pride in the guy’s eyes.
“But I must thank the smog of Hua City; it allowed to board this train, and hence et a lovely lady like you…”
As Lai Zhiwen spoke, he waved his hand as if signaling to Lin Qingxue to shake hands with him. And he occasionally flipped his palm to show off the Rolex watch on his wrist, worth three to four hundred thousand.
In Lai Zhiwen’s eyes, any beauty problems that could be solved with money were not a problem for him at all, especially since the beauty he t today was the most stunning he had ever seen.
eting such a beauty, he wouldn’t mind turning back ho right now! After all, the university spot was only sothing his father bought for a few hundred thousand.
If he wanted, he could throw away this spot at any ti and choose another school; after all, his family had plenty of money and didn’t care about these small issues.
Lai Zhiwen thought that by showing a little bit of his wealth, the beauty before him would enthusiastically tell him her na, but he had miscalculated. Lin Qingxue only glanced at this guy and then turned her attention back to Hao Jian.
If Lai Zhiwen had a keener eye and more rich experiences, he would have noticed that what Lin Qingxue was wearing and using was not ordinary at all.
Not to ntion her bag, the price of the dress alone was comparable to his Rolex watch, and in Lin Qingxue’s suitcase, nothing was casual.
“Hey, if you’re not a student, then what are you going to Hua City for?”
Lin Qingxue ignored Lai Zhiwen. She had encountered many of these spoiled brats and handled them with ease. Smiling, she looked at Hao Jian and spoke up.
Upon hearing this, Hao Jian could only shake his head helplessly and then gave Lai Zhiwen a sympathetic look. This guy thought his wealth could interest Lin Qingxue, forgetting that the beauty in front of him wasn’t lesser in financial strength.
This was sothing Hao Jian noticed within a few minutes. His perspective was not as limited as Lai Zhiwen’s. He saw far and wide, but he was curious why Lin Qingxue was interested in an ordinary person like him.
Could it be that he beca more handso recently?
Hao Jian indulged in a bit of narcissism and then turned to speak to Lin Qingxue, only to be interrupted by Lai Zhiwen.
“I reckon this guy is just going to Hua City to be a laborer. Miss, why bother talking to soone like that? Doesn’t talking to such a person compromise your status?”
Lai Zhiwen’s sarcastic tone suddenly erged, causing Lin Qingxue’s originally smiling face to stiffen slightly, though very faintly, and Lai Zhiwen did not notice.
“I’m Lai Zhiwen on my way to attend college in Hua City!”
“Hua City Business University may only be a top-tier university in Hua City, but Hua City is one of the ga cities in all of Huaxia. Graduates from this place are far superior to laborers like this!”
Lai Zhiwen’s tone continuously belittled Hao Jian, making passengers around them, who overheard his rude remarks, look displeased.
However, seeing how wealthy the guy seed, they hesitated, thinking confronting a wealthy person wasn’t a wise choice.
Lai Zhiwen’s behavior further worsened Lin Qingxue’s impression of him. Initially, she only planned to ignore him, but now she found him sowhat annoying.
Though her family was affluent, her father taught her not to look down on anyone, as today’s belittling might be an opportunity to admire others tomorrow. Always maintain a modest attitude, instead of flaunting superiority.
Lin Qingxue firmly believed in these words. Otherwise, she wouldn’t have spoken to Hao Jian, though curiosity about him was a reason, her father’s influence played an even bigger part.
“Hmm?”
With a smile, Hao Jian ignored Lai Zhiwen as well. He had dealt with such spoiled heirs countless tis over the years, and Lai Zhiwen’s nouveau-riche flaunting revealed a lot of information to him.
Dealing with soone like this, Hao Jian could easily assign a subordinate to settle it. Previously, he might have been interested in playing with Lai Zhiwen, but now he had other concerns due to Spice Ginger’s incident.
As Hao Jian was about to respond to Lin Qingxue’s question, his gaze abruptly locked on the front of the train car, where an old man was holding a little boy, whose face was pale and constantly coughing.
But that wasn’t the most important part; the critical mont was when a man crouched down to check on the boy, slipping a hand into the old man’s pocket, taking out sothing wrapped in a red plastic bag.
With sharp eyes, Hao Jian noticed the red plastic bag contained red banknotes, a hefty pile worth maybe twenty to thirty thousand.
So much money being stealthily taken by a thief caught Hao Jian’s attention; it was likely that the money was ant for the boy’s dical expenses, which was evident from their worn clothing.
The originally dark jeans had been worn to a faded white.
“That money must be for the boy’s dical treatnt, right?”
