Chapter 1170: Chapter 1168: Rare Vein of Ore

In the following days, Hao Jian used his personal na to request a week’s leave for Lin Qingxue. When the principal saw it was Hao Jian, he didn’t dare say a word, simply thumping his chest and assuring everything would be taken care of.

Afterwards, Hao Jian frequently prepared nourishing dicinal als for Lin Qingxue. After all, that night, he was acting unconsciously, and couldn’t spare the effort to protect Lin Qingxue from harm.

Under his fierce rushing with the lack of protective strength, the pain was not to be trifled with. Besides preparing herbal als, he also helped Lin Qingxue with relaxation exercises every day to alleviate her pain.

Just like that, with a week’s ticulous care from Hao Jian, she finally bounced back with vitality, though underneath this renewed energy, she exuded an even more captivating aura.

This aura made her more beautiful, fuller, reflected particularly in the softness of her chest, which Hao Jian didn’t miss the chance to tease her about.

When Lin Qingxue returned to her classes, Hao Jian was able to relax. However, because she missed a week’s worth of classes, Lin Qingxue needed to catch up, leaving her no ti to go out.

Understanding this, Hao Jian told her that he would take her out once she was caught up. Then, he returned ho for a restful day off.

Taking care of Lin Qingxue these days wasn’t easy, not done in a hotel room. After that morning, Hao Jian brought Lin Qingxue ho to care for her, hardly sleeping to provide proper care.

Now that everything was resolved, the most important task was to have a good sleep.

Upon waking up, Hao Jian found it was already the next morning. Rubbing his stomach, he said, “It’s past eleven, that was a really nice sleep…”

“Hmm! I should go get so food and then visit Shu Ya, it’s been a while since I last saw this girl. I wonder how she’s handling the company. If there are any troubles, I’ll help sort them out.”

Shaking his head to clear it, Hao Jian dragged his body, washed up, and went out to find a place to have breakfast.

After breakfast, he found a nice Cantonese restaurant and took his ti eating lunch alone, finally finishing the al after quite a while.

“Off we go!”

Within an hour and a half, Hao Jian finished both breakfast and lunch, leaving the Cantonese restaurant with a satisfied expression, patting his full belly. He then headed with great montum towards Shu Ya’s house, driving the Land Rover from Spice Ginger.

He received a ssage from the company saying that recently, Shu Ya had been extrely busy, even lacking enough ti, so she skipped the commute and was working directly from her villa ho.

She had turned her study into an office area, and anyone needing her had to call her directly. Still, if there were company matters, she would usually visit the office to check.

Today, Shu Ya had just finished her lunch, then went to her study to continue unfinished work, furrowing her brows, her mind whirring quickly in deep thought, occasionally jotting notes in a small notebook on her desk.

“Knock, knock, knock!”

At this mont, a series of doorbell rings suddenly interrupted her train of thought, causing her brows to twitch slightly in annoyance. She had already told her company colleagues not to co to her house unless necessary, or they could just call her. Besides, she had purposely visited the office this morning to deal with so matters.

Thinking all had been settled, she couldn’t understand why they were here now. Was her money hiring them all wasted?!

It seed it was ti to teach them a lesson; otherwise, they’ll develop complacency. Despite this thinking, Shu Ya let it be and placed her pen down, left the third-floor study, and walked downstairs.

“Coming!”

Upon reaching the ground floor, she still heard the doorbell, so she called out and quickened her pace to the door, pulling it open with both hands.

As the door opened, Shu Ya had already formulated her words inside her mind. However, when a shadow appeared, and she opened her mouth, no words ca out, because there, standing calmly in her sight, was Hao Jian.

“Hao Jian?”

Recognizing Hao Jian, Shu Ya’s face instantly blossod into a delighted smile. She exclaid, “What are you doing here?!”

While speaking, she took Hao Jian’s arm and led him inside. After Shu Ya closed the door, Hao Jian smiled and said, “I was just staying at ho with nothing to do, so I thought I’d co see you and make sure the company isn’t overloading you.”

Upon hearing this, Shu Ya’s cheeks blushed. She giggled and took Hao Jian upstairs, complaining along the way, “There’s just been a lot going on with the company lately. Most of the employees I hired are new, and all the veteran employees have been sent out to fight for the company’s future…”

“Even small issues they can’t handle, I don’t even know what to say anymore. These past few days have been driving crazy. But thankfully, these guys are learning, at least recently this has happened less and less.”

“Then why are you still saying that?”

Baffled by Shu Ya’s complaints, Hao Jian could only express uncertainty. By the look of things, it seed she wasn’t too upset now.

“Nothing, you’ll know soon enough.”

Clearly, Shu Ya didn’t intend to tell Hao Jian just yet. After pulling him into her study, she poured him a glass of water and said with a cheeky smile, “Hao Jian, I’m gonna tell you, just sit and drink your water. Give so ti, I’ll be done soon…”

Without waiting for Hao Jian’s bewildered look to pass, she dashed back to her desk, continuing her work, quickly writing so plans on paper.

Seeing this, Hao Jian shook his head in disbelief. He thought everything had been resolved and planned to take Shu Ya out for so relaxation, but seeing her busyness, he refrained and waited.

After two hours, when Shu Ya still hadn’t finished, Hao Jian, pacifying his boredom, stood up, pulled a chair over to Shu Ya’s side, and wrapped an arm around her waist, grinning cheekily, “Girl, are you done yet?”

As he spoke, Hao Jian had already placed a hand on Shu Ya’s softness, speaking like a mountain king, “Your man is thirsty now, will you give your ti…”

“Humph!”

Being touched on a sensitive spot, Shu Ya’s cheeks flushed with embarrassnt, feeling Hao Jian’s warmth. As her eyes gradually blurred, she shook her head just in ti to dash Hao Jian’s hopes.

“No can do, Hao Jian, we’ll do it later. I really need to finish this, it’s crucial for our company’s future. Once this is sorted, we’ll have control of a supply chain!”

Previously thinking they might take things further, Hao Jian was abruptly halted. But upon hearing Shu Ya’s words, he looked up, curiosity lighting his gaze, “What? Did you co up with a solution?”

Since Shu Ya didn’t want to proceed now, and as a man not ruled by his lower instincts, Hao Jian naturally needed to understand his woman’s important work.

Apparently anticipating Hao Jian’s question, Shu Ya placed her pen down and, with a glare, forcefully brushed away his hand still on her chest, glaring fiercely. After Hao Jian sheepishly withdrew his hand, she began explaining to him.

It turned out that not long ago, the Hua City’s governnt suddenly announced a tender. As soon as she saw the notice, Shu Ya imdiately bid a large sum of money to win it.

Shu Ya Group was already a large company, yet their resources still needed to be purchased from outside. If any issues arose on the supplier’s end, it would impact the entire Shu Ya Group, though after several efforts, these suppliers were internationally renowned.

However, relying solely on one source was unwise. Shu Ya had a dream to expand Shu Ya Group significantly. Unfortunately, previously, certain matters couldn’t be resolved, so now that a rare opportunity had arisen, she intended to seize it.

This opportunity was the project Shu Ya won, which was a mineral deposit that another city entrusted the Hua City governnt to put out to tender.

If it were an ordinary mineral, Shu Ya might not have been so eager, but this deposit contained rare minerals that Shu Ya Group urgently required as raw materials for producing high-grade jewelry.

By securing this mineral, Shu Ya Group would establish its own status and gain international recognition, as they now would have their own mining source for top-tier jewelry materials.

Owning this mineral deposit would elevate Shu Ya Group into a more trusted enterprise overnight because they now had their own reserve resources, with no fear of sudden bankruptcy.

This would strengthen Shu Ya Group’s brand reputation, letting more people know about Shu Ya Group!

Following Shu Ya’s explanation, Hao Jian slowly cald his previously restless heart, gazing at the woman before him tirelessly striving for her business. Hao Jian felt a surge of tenderness for her.

“This is what’s happening… Shu Ya Group’s strength is my dream.”
