Capítulo 1358: Chapter 1356: Kuo Tianzheng

“Hao Jian, over here!”

As Hao Jian passed security and entered the airport, a voice suddenly ca from nearby. He looked up and saw Shu Ya waving at him continuously.

Behind her stood two won and two n, neatly aligned, looking at Shu Ya with eyes full of respect and excitent, their handbags enhancing their sharp deanor.

“I thought you hadn’t arrived yet.”

Standing in front of Shu Ya and checking the ti, there was half an hour left before boarding, so Hao Jian smiled and waved at Shu Ya.

“Chairman Hao!”

As soon as Hao Jian approached, those standing behind Shu Ya greeted him respectfully. Their faces showed reverence, knowing that those who could accompany Shu Ya on foreign business trips were her trusted aides.

They also recognized Hao Jian’s existence in Shu Ya Group, understanding his significant position, hence their respect for this chairman who seldom appears in the company.

“Yes.”

Nodding, Hao Jian smiled as he walked to one side with Shu Ya, who then started discussing the matter with him.

“This ti traveling to East Ocean, the primary purpose is to attend a high-level party over there. Those who participate are prestigious figures in East Ocean, and I heard there might be samurais present.”

Upon hearing this, Hao Jian’s eyes slightly flickered. In East Ocean, samurais are a common existence, but those so-called samurais only have superficial knowledge. However, true samurais are highly respected in East Ocean.

After all, their strength is incredibly formidable; even Hao Jian’s subordinates on God of Death Island find it challenging to deal with one. But with so strategizing, maybe they could win.

“But why are you attending this party?”

Hao Jian looked at Shu Ya, a bit puzzled. In East Ocean, there’s already a subsidiary of Shu Ya Group, and its turnover is quite decent.

Relations over there are managed by the company, so why does the president need to go? Hao Jian couldn’t understand the reason.

It was just a party, anyone could attend, so why does Shu Ya need to go in person? What is it really about? Even if everyone at the party is wealthy, they might not match up to Shu Ya.

Hao Jian was quite perplexed.

Hearing this, Shu Ya understood Hao Jian’s implied question and with a smile, said to him, “Actually, there’s nothing much. Just trying to accelerate the expansion process in East Ocean to quickly develop the company’s business there.”

“I’ve also heard that the subsidiary in East Ocean is experiencing unsatisfactory turnover recently, possibly due to interference, so I want to collaborate with so dignitaries at the party to help oversee the subsidiary, saving from worrying about it.”

Within Shu Ya’s words was a tinge of helplessness. If not for lack of options, she wouldn’t want to collaborate with those people, as they are often parasites, demanding hefty benefits which she is unwilling to provide.

But giving too little, they would be displeased. Shu Ya had to find a suitable balance.

Although it’s acceptable to pay them monthly, Shu Ya worries that they might abruptly sever ties and break contact with her.

Considering the market in East Ocean is still relatively undeveloped, she doesn’t want to deal with any potential problems after expanding market share there. It’s why she’s bringing Hao Jian along, foreseeing possible complications.

For minor issues, she handles them; but if trouble arises that she can’t solve, she would need Hao Jian to step in. How could she handle all these issues alone?

The four subordinates accompanying her on the business trip had been transferred to the subsidiary in East Ocean to assist its developnt.

“So you’re saying your market expansion in East Ocean isn’t going smoothly?”

From Shu Ya’s words, Hao Jian could sense that market expansion wasn’t smooth; otherwise, she wouldn’t involve him in the trip and bring reinforcents.

Upon hearing this, Shu Ya showed a bitter smile: “Initially, I thought we could develop well in East Ocean. But upon arrival, we faced conflicts with the local industry.”

“Being the indigenous powers there while we’re the new dragons across the river, we have no foundational connections to negotiate, leading to a gradual disadvantage.”

“However, as our company’s reputation is recognized globally, business managed to stay afloat. Yet, as we grew, those local powers started illicit transactions.”

Speaking of this, Shu Ya expressed particular helplessness, originally believing she could handle the situation. But this has turned out to be extraordinarily troubleso, necessitating discussions with East Ocean’s rich to seal a deal.

In East Ocean, many have little concept of jewelry; they chase brands or prefer major brands like Shu Ya Group.

Previously, few major brands entered the region, so guests generally purchased locally due to lower taxes, naturally lowering prices. Why would custors choose expensive over cheap options?

Initially, Shu Ya Group didn’t intend to engage in price warfare, but locals boldly did, gradually causing a decline in their custors, leading the local subsidiary manager into distress, “Why are East Ocean people so difficult to deal with!”

Listening, Hao Jian laughed, “If you can’t resolve it, let handle it. I guarantee to resolve it satisfactorily, even if I lack influence in East Ocean.”

As just needing those few local powers to retreat in face of adversity, Hao Jian excelled in such tasks. After he finished this statent, airport authorities requested boarding.

Thus, Hao Jian accompanied Shu Ya onto the plane, and shortly after, the plane took off towards the distant neighbor, East Ocean.

A few hours later, Hao Jian and his team arrived at an airport in East Ocean, outside of which the company-arranged vehicle awaited. The driver was the subsidiary manager, a Huaxia-East Ocean mixed-blood nad Kuo Tianzheng whose father was Huaxia, and his mother East Ocean.

Fluent in both Huaxia and East Ocean languages, Shu Ya had appointed him to manage the subsidiary, aiding Shu Ya Group’s market developnt.

Recently though, his situation wasn’t great; company performance was worsening due to those indigenous powers. He recently complained to the headquarters, unexpectedly prompting the president to visit directly.

And not only the president, even the chairman ca, exciting Kuo Tianzheng imnsely. These two were pillars of Shu Ya Group; as soon as they intervened, things would definitely be resolved.

Seeing them in person, Kuo Tianzheng felt relieved. Finally, the situation here could stabilize; with these two on-site, what couldn’t be resolved?

“Kuo Tian, seems your days haven’t been easy!”

One of Shu Ya’s male subordinates teased upon seeing Kuo Tianzheng, “You left the headquarters all inspired, but now those few local powers have turned things this way, tarnishing your reputation!”

Kuo Tianzheng instantly lanted, “You stayed at the headquarters, unaware of the external storms. Do you really think market expansion is that simple? There are myriad aspects, including the critical elent of personal networks.”

“When I arrived in East Ocean, I had nothing, very few contacts, yet endless adversaries erged as soon as the company was established, and you don’t know, whenever I approached East Ocean’s governntal agencies, they disregarded my mixed heritage and treated as an outsider.”

Listening to Kuo Tianzheng’s grievances, the male subordinate fell silent, realizing the headquarters isn’t a place to casually leave, or else he might end up struggling as Kuo Tianzheng did.

“Alright, stop talking, quickly take us to our accommodation!”

Shu Ya interrupted their conversation, shaking her head and checking the ti, “There’s a very crucial party tonight, and I don’t want you ssing it up for , so better keep it brief.”

Both agreed instantly; particularly Kuo Tianzheng, who knew those fellows had endless tricks, but however skilled, they feared the governnt.

As long as Shu Ya connected with those dignitaries, the subsidiary could be safeguarded, and seeing both president and chairman arrive implied a definitive conclusion.

Imdiately, Kuo Tianzheng hurriedly led Hao Jian and the others towards the five-star hotel he had arranged for them.

“Your choice is quite accurate.”

Upon reaching the hotel, Hao Jian chuckled at Shu Ya, “There are seven or eight local power companies against Shu Ya Group, yet he managed to withstand their attacks for three months, quite a remarkable figure.”

Hearing this, Shu Ya glanced at Hao Jian, “If not for his capabilities, I wouldn’t have deployed him since foreign expansion is a critical decision. I can’t just send anyone over casually.”

“Okay.”

Hao Jian smiled and checked the ti, realizing it was past four in the afternoon. He gazed at Shu Ya, “The party begins at seven. Better rest quickly, otherwise you won’t perform at your best and that would be troubleso.”
