Capítulo 1644: Chapter 1845: You’re in Big Trouble!!!
As a public hospital, the developnt of the city hospital is closely linked to the governnt, but a significant portion of its decisive changes have occurred after the current director arrived. Since his arrival, the city hospital has undergone trendous transformations, changing substantially every year.
Not only are its dical facilities the most advanced in Hua City and the surrounding regions, but the dical expertise and skills of its doctors are also at an extrely high level.
The director accompanied Hao Jian on a tour of the hospital. These impromptu visits are akin to surprise inspections and are the best way to assess the overall managent level of a hospital or company.
As they walked through, Hao Jian couldn’t help but praise the director’s managent. The director had already shown him the inpatient and outpatient departnts, everything appeared orderly. Then he took Hao Jian to several other departnts, the orthopedics, gynecology, pediatrics, internal dicine, and surgery departnts.
During this impromptu inspection, all the attending doctors and other dical staff were seen working diligently, prompting Hao Jian to praise the director further. Indeed, the renowned old director is extraordinary, his managent level is distinct from those of other hospitals’ directors.
Of course, Hao Jian wasn’t one to idle away ti visiting hospitals without reason; he wouldn’t waste ti doing such things even if he had nothing else to do. He was there for a single purpose, solely for Wang Shuangshuang.
Thinking of this, he suddenly said to the director, “Director, since we’ve more or less toured the departnts, I would like to visit your hospital’s nurse duty room. I heard there’s a new batch of interns recently; I wonder if they et your expectations!”
The director, though uncertain why Hao Jian made such a sudden request, did not refuse him.
He smiled and said, “Alright, please proceed.”
With that, the director gestured politely, and his assistant led the way. Although Hao Jian was soone well-versed in etiquette, matching the director in status to so extent, the director was older than him and represented the Shu Ya Group, so he had to mind his manners.
He said, “Director, please go ahead!”
This allowed the director to walk in front, followed by Hao Jian alongside him.
The director, surprised by Hao Jian’s gesture, regarded him with renewed favor.
The nurse duty room was actually not far from the last departnt they visited. Each departnt has a separate nurse duty room because the nurses may specialize in different areas. However, the intern nurses typically perform similar tasks, so they are all grouped in one duty room.
Since Hao Jian expressed a desire to visit the intern nurse duty room, naturally, the director’s assistant led the director and Hao Jian there.
When the director’s assistant reached the intern nurse duty room, he initially intended to knock and notify them of the inspection. However, as he prepared to do so, the director signaled him to stop.
The assistant promptly stood back.
Bringing a visiting corporate executive along didn’t warrant alerting them in advance to prepare—they weren’t about to be like those units or companies that notify staff before inspections, turning the visit into a re formality.
Such practices were beneath him and not his style, so he vehently opposed them.
The director gestured for Hao Jian to lead the way. Reacting instinctively, Hao Jian raised an eyebrow in admiration; the old director’s approach was indeed different from other directors.
As this thought crossed his mind, he and the director walked side by side. As they neared the door, they heard laughter coming from within.
The director’s expression imdiately turned displeased, and he halted alongside Hao Jian. The assistant looked equally uncomfortable. Other leaders and departnt heads following behind expressed their disapproval through solemn expressions. The head responsible for the nurses appeared especially livid.
The director paused outside, listening to the commotion inside, and Hao Jian mirrored his actions.
They heard chatter emanating from the supposedly quiet nurse duty room, and peeking inside slightly, they saw a group gathered, engaged in conversation.
Voices erged from within.
“Are you sure? Do you have any proof?” soone asked.
“Of course it’s true; I saw it myself, and Xiaoxiao saw it too. If you don’t believe , ask Xiaoxiao!”
The speaker was the nurse responsible for the rumor caught by Wang Shuangshuang and Hao Jian earlier. Upon being addressed, Xiaoxiao nodded affirmatively.
Everyone reacted with surprise: “Wow! Who would have thought Wang Shuangshuang was that kind of person? She usually seems so aloof, but privately, her lifestyle is a ss.”
“Nah, that aloofness is all an act. She pretends to be pure and unapproachable, yet privately, she’s involved with countless n.”
“Exactly! I always doubted her character, but I hesitated to speak out. Now that the truth is out, it proves I judged her correctly; she’s definitely a witch.”
“Yes, indeed, her facade was annoying enough. She’s clearly a vile woman, pretending purity, but now her true colors are revealed; let’s see how long she can keep up the act.”
More voices chid in, badmouthing Wang Shuangshuang while she was away during her duty.
At this mont, the nurse who initiated the rumor looked smug, ecstatic over the gossip she stirred as if making the headlines.
With the topic out in the open, the nurses continued discussing the kind of woman Wang Shuangshuang was, claiming they saw through her, vowing to isolate her and refuse to associate with her.
The gossiping nurse basked in her self-satisfaction, surrounded by her peers, becoming the center of attention. “Alright, alright, Wang Shuangshuang should be back soon; we’ll continue discussing this when she returns. Let’s take a break.”
The other nurses laughed in agreent.
Soone echoed, “Correct, why discuss now? Let’s wait until she’s back to say it to her face; after all, if she’s bold enough to do those things, she shouldn’t fear us talking!”
“Yes, definitely, we’ll continue when she returns.”
“………”
The director stood outside, listening as the conversation grew more heated, the volu increasing, oblivious to anyone calling them from outside.
His expression darkened further, anger flickering in his eyes, teetering on eruption. Having worked alongside the director for so long, the assistant knew precisely how infuriated he was.
anwhile, the other leaders and departnt heads held their breaths, faces taut with gravity. The head responsible for the intern nurses wished desperately for a place to hide.
At this mont, having finished her shift, Wang Shuangshuang approached, weary and lancholic from a busy day. But upon spotting the nurous leaders, including the director and surprisingly, Hao Jian outside the nurse duty room, she appeared stunned and uncertain.
As she walked in with dications and bandages, both the director and Hao Jian noticed her. The director beckoned her over promptly.
Following the earlier incident involving dical disputes, the director recognized Wang Shuangshuang and her na, understanding who was the subject of conversation within.
Spotting Wang Shuangshuang, the director waved her over.
Facing this scene, Wang Shuangshuang felt overwheld, almost frightened by the unexpected assembly in front of the intern nurse duty room. Questions raced through her mind about the occurrence, why they stood outside without entering, and why Hao Jian was present.
While pondering, Hao Jian winked at her, his eyes betraying amusent.
She rolled her eyes at Hao Jian upon seeing his expression.
However, the dialogue from the duty room soon filled her with anger.
