Capítulo 1649: Chapter 1850: We Really Need to Interact More!!!
The nurse who spread the rumors was speechless when she heard the dean retract the order to dismiss her. It felt as though she had fallen into the abyss and then suddenly risen out of it. However, even though the incident happened quickly, it significantly changed her mindset and thoughts.
She realized her previous mistakes and understood that she shouldn’t have spread rumors about her colleagues out of envy. This incident taught her a hard lesson, leaving a mark on her heart. She swore never to do such things in the future. When she’s at work, she should focus on her duties and not waste ti scheming against others.
Another point is that she used to envy Wang Shuangshuang, but after this incident, Wang Shuangshuang did not push her to the limit. Instead, she forgave her and pleaded with the dean to let her go. The mindset of forgiving when possible is sothing she found worth learning.
If this had happened to her, she wouldn’t have easily forgiven like Wang Shuangshuang. So now, she feels very grateful to Wang Shuangshuang and silently noted her kindness, thinking about repaying the favor in the future.
She looked at Wang Shuangshuang and the dean, and said excitedly, “Thank you, Dean, thank you, Shuangshuang. I will definitely correct my mistakes; thank you for forgiving !”
After this small drama, the matter was essentially settled, and so the dean continued the hospital tour with Hao Jian.
However, when the dean said he would continue the tour with Hao Jian, they were shocked again. They weren’t fools; they knew what kind of person the dean was. Even when prominent figures visited the hospital, the dean was indifferent, yet he was personally guiding a young man like Hao Jian around the hospital this ti.
Would the dean do this for just anyone? Based on the dean’s attitude towards Hao Jian, and how he kept referring to him as President Hao, it imdiately changed their impression of Hao Jian.
This young man, able to make the dean give him such attention and treatnt, was definitely not ordinary.
Then they considered the relationship between Hao Jian and Wang Shuangshuang. It seed there was so connection. Anyone with keen eyes could see that Hao Jian was defending Wang Shuangshuang earlier, and the dean stepped in to help Wang Shuangshuang out of respect for Hao Jian. Otherwise, the dean, based on his usual temper, would have imdiately dismissed the nurse spreading rumors, without listening to Wang Shuangshuang’s plea to retract the order.
Realizing this, their hearts sank. They never expected that Wang Shuangshuang knew such an impressive young person, and now the dean also gave her a second look. However, they had spoken ill of her earlier. Without that, they might’ve taken this chance to gain so benefits, but now that she heard them saying nasty things, not being blad was the best they could hope for, let alone getting any advantage from the situation.
Thinking of this, they deeply regretted it. What were they thinking, discussing colleagues during work hours in the duty room? Wasn’t that just asking for trouble?
The dean took Hao Jian to continue the tour around the hospital. As they left, Hao Jian gave Wang Shuangshuang a aningful look. It was then that Wang Shuangshuang realized it was all part of Hao Jian’s plan. Everything had happened as he had anticipated, and he did it to help her resolve the crisis caused by the rumors.
Realizing this, Wang Shuangshuang found herself pondering deeply, adding another layer of gratitude towards Hao Jian. At the sa ti, she began feeling curious about Hao Jian’s identity. Driving a luxury car had already surprised her once, and now having the dean personally guide him around the hospital, treating him with exceptional respect, made her begin questioning just who Hao Jian really was.
Once the dean and Hao Jian left, the leaders and directors all dispersed. At this mont, the colleagues who had once given her the cold shoulder or bad-mouthed her walked up to her one by one.
“Shuangshuang, we’re really sorry. We were just speaking too quickly. Please don’t bla us!” said a nurse who had been involved in the gossip earlier.
Soone leaned in and said, “Yes, yes, Shuangshuang, please have a big heart and don’t hold it against us. Don’t keep these things in mind. If there’s anything you need done, let handle it.”
“…..”
Another person ca closer, saying a slew of words. On the surface, Wang Shuangshuang kept a smiling face, but in her heart, she had her own thoughts. Hmph! Previously, all the heavy work and chores were left for to do, and now after what happened, they co to sweet-talk. They’re really so opportunistic!
But these thoughts just flashed through her mind. Even though she had just graduated college, she understood the rules to so extent, so she treated them all with a smiling face.
After going through this incident, Wang Shuangshuang’s status among the group of intern nurses soared instantly, and no one dared to speak ill of her anymore. Even if they felt envious, they only dared to keep it to themselves and not act on it.
Even those who were permanent staff treated her better, giving her a huge sense of contrast. Just earlier, she was despised by everyone, but in an instant, they were treating her like family, sothing she found a bit hard to adapt to.
But work had to continue, and the little episode didn’t linger for too long; then it was back to work.
As for Hao Jian, the dean then led him to visit other areas of the hospital. Although the initial reason for proposing the tour was Wang Shuangshuang’s issue and now that it was resolved, he wasn’t really interested in the tour anymore. He followed the dean but was sowhat perfunctory.
After the tour, they exchanged a few words of thanks, and the two of them parted ways at the hospital entrance. Hao Jian went to the parking lot and sat in his car.
At that mont, the dean stood at the hospital entrance, silently watching Hao Jian’s departing figure, his mind deep in thought.
The assistant stood beside the dean. Having been with the dean for so long, he understood the dean’s mood the best at this mont and said, “Dean…”
He intended to express his inner thoughts, but before he could speak, the dean interrupted him.
The dean waved a hand to stop him from speaking, then fixed his gaze forward, watching Hao Jian’s departing figure, and said, “I’ve t many talented young people, but he is the most inspiring, talented, and capable one I’ve seen, making even feel slightly inferior in front of him. We should definitely not underestimate him! We should interact with him more often.”
Then, unexpectedly, a smile appeared on the dean’s face, and he turned back to the hospital, saying, “Prepare for the eting, notify them to co to the eting!”
The assistant nodded silently and began making phone calls to notify about the eting. anwhile, he felt a surge of excitent. He knew the dean’s character well; he seldom praised anyone, and when he did, it was typically just a vague comnt or two. Especially, he never heard the dean complint a young person, yet this ti, the dean praised Hao Jian multiple tis and ended with the remark about staying in touch.
Knowing the dean personally, the notion of frequently interacting with Hao Jian and even admitting feeling inferior to him was trendously impactful.
This was the first ti he had ever heard the dean speak about soone in this way!
Hao Jian sat in the car, quietly turning on the car’s audio system, playing music, imrsing himself in the world of the hospital.
Then he started the car and headed on his way ho.
Driving along with music playing, he felt particularly content and happy. It wasn’t long before he drove back ho. Once back, he opened a bottle of beer from the fridge, drank a bit while lying on the sofa and watching TV.
Ti passed quickly, and as he watched TV, he unexpectedly fell asleep on the sofa. Picking up his phone, he found that Shu Ya had sent a ssage saying she wouldn’t be returning until evening.
Thinking of this, he imagined Shu Ya’s busy figure, set the phone down, and went to the balcony to relax while enjoying the quiet scenery.
Noticing the ti, he realized he had slept for quite a while, and after waking up, had wasted so more ti. It was already four or five in the afternoon.
Thinking that Shu Ya would co back in the evening, staying at ho seed dull, so he decided to pick her up from work.
Co to think of it, he hadn’t been to the company in a while.
So he sat quietly at ho for a while, timing it, figuring Shu Ya would soon be off work. He then changed his clothes, left the house, and went to the underground parking, driving towards the company.
Hao Jian always drove fast. Confident in his driving skills, he wasn’t worried about accidents, so the better his mood, the faster he drove. A limited edition Rolls-Royce sped down the road, drawing the attention of many.
Since the villa was in the suburbs, it took so ti to drive to the city center, but Hao Jian drove fast, arriving at the destination in a little over twenty minutes.
