As she ca up with an explanation, Hao Jian had already walked away, so she hurriedly chased after him.
After catching up with a quick run, she kicked Hao Jian’s backside, nearly making him fall, then ran past him. Hao Jian managed to steady himself without falling from the kick, then rubbed his backside, surprised that this little girl kicked hard enough to make his bum hurt. Thinking of this, then seeing her quickly run past him, he imdiately gave chase.
If he really wanted to catch up to Liang Yuwei, he could do so in an instant, but to give her so face considering she’s a girl, Hao Jian pretended he couldn’t catch up, yet continued following closely behind.
By the ti they reached the inpatient ward, where “Quiet” was written on the wall, they finally stopped ssing around. Then, the two walked back to Liang Youzhen’s ward together. As they walked, Hao Jian took her hand again, and she instinctively didn’t shake it off, letting him hold it, silently but secretly delighted.
Then Hao Jian opened the ward door, and the two of them walked in hand in hand. When Liang Youzhen saw his daughter’s hand holding Hao Jian’s, then looked at their expressions, his heart secretly delighted as well, showing a broad smile.
At this mont, Liang Yuwei tidied everything up, then sat beside him and smiled, saying: “Dad, I need to go to the police station for so matters, so you rest up. If you need anything, you can call the nurse. I’ll be back soon.”
