Capítulo 1729: Chapter 1930: So Things Are Best Said in the Bedroom!!!

Liang Yuwei retrieved the tea set and began to brew tea with a graceful and fluid motion, producing a few fragrant cups of tea.

Hao Jian, though quite the rough man by nature, had learned a bit about tea culture due to frequent contact with various people while in the underworld. Thus, he wasn’t completely clueless in front of Liang Youzhen. Instead, he had his own rhetoric that made Liang Youzhen look at him with newfound respect.

The two took turns tasting several cups of tea brewed by Liang Yuwei, each with different varieties and flavors. After finishing each cup, Liang Youzhen would watch Hao Jian’s facial expressions for a test of his understanding of tea culture. After all, if he wanted to be his son-in-law, rely being a good person but knowing nothing wasn’t enough.

The two slowly savored their tea, and after finishing, Hao Jian comnted on the qualities of each tea and shared his understanding and insights gained from tea culture.

Initially, Liang Youzhen’s expression was indifferent, but after hearing Hao Jian’s insights, his impression dissipated, having mistaken Hao Jian’s earlier deanor as sowhat pretentious. With his years of tea appreciation, he could discern at once whether soone was genuinely refined or just superficially eloquent but empty inside.

Hao Jian’s words stunned him; not just anyone could articulate such insights. Even for him, understanding Hao Jian’s words required quiet contemplation to grasp the mysteries within. Imdiately, Liang Youzhen regarded Hao Jian with even greater respect.

He had initially thought that young people didn’t understand tea culture, as they seed more interested in the outside world’s distractions and unlikely to grasp traditional culture’s essence. However, hearing Hao Jian speak so fluently and profoundly made Liang Youzhen gaze at him with admiration.

Afterwards, the two engaged in a deeper discussion and exchange. As they spoke, Liang Youzhen clapped in amazent. Over the years, even peers couldn’t express certain thoughts, yet unexpectedly, this young Hao Jian was a perfect match for his views and ideas. This made him extrely delighted.

A long-absent joy appeared on his face, surprising Liang Yuwei. She hadn’t seen her father this happy for a long ti. This was the first ti he had been so cheerful and excited in recent tis. She glanced at Hao Jian with an involuntary sense of surprise.

anwhile, the people had already moved everything back to its original place and approached Hao Jian to apologize and seek forgiveness. Hao Jian, having already dismissed the matter from his mind, waved them away once the issue was resolved. They promptly exited the villa, relieved, and drove off as soon as they were out.

Though it was just a small task, today’s experience left them feeling as though narrowly escaping disaster, so by the ti the matter was resolved, they were drenched in cold sweat. Only after driving away did they finally breathe a sigh of relief, completely relaxed.

Hao Jian had shifted the conversation with Liang Youzhen from tea culture to other topics. Since they had broken the ice, the discussion beca fervent, with both n speaking continuously, seemingly unaware of any thirst.

During the conversation, Liang Youzhen found Hao Jian to be a young man of depth, taste, and cultural foundation, while Hao Jian esteed Liang Youzhen as truly worthy of the title of a venerable and respected elder, not rely an outdated relic with only flash and style on the outside.

As they spoke, Liang Youzhen seed to forget Hao Jian’s previous ntion of sothing and even forgot about considering him pretentious, focusing entirely on their dialogue. At first, Liang Yuwei could follow the conversation, but as it delved into deeper subjects, she began to understand less, eventually unable to comprehend at all.

She then discreetly withdrew to a side, busying herself with other matters.

Just then, the phone near the sofa rang. Liang Yuwei instinctively answered it, her face displaying a smile as she did. Liang Youzhen was puzzled, wondering what it was about, but he continued his heated conversation with Hao Jian and didn’t answer the phone.

Hao Jian rely chuckled, knowing who was calling and the topic without needing to hear the call.

After exchanging just a few words, Liang Yuwei shot Liang Youzhen a glance, indicating he should take the call. Reluctantly, Liang Youzhen paused the conversation and went over to answer the phone.

At first, he displayed no unusual reaction upon answering, but within seconds of listening, his face showed shock and astonishnt. Despite his experiences over many decades, that statent left him stunned.

He then hung up the phone, but even with his firm disposition, upon facing Hao Jian, he couldn’t hide his surprised expression. Having been so engrossed in conversation, he had almost forgotten the issue. Originally dismissing it as Hao Jian’s exaggerated talk, he overlooked it.

Although he couldn’t completely understand Hao Jian’s background and capabilities, he was ultimately just a young man. Thus, from the mont Hao Jian made that statent, he hadn’t taken it seriously, believing it impossible to happen.

However, the call just now was genuinely shocking. Hao Jian’s words had indeed co true; those who had usurped his painstaking efforts had called to apologize and offer to return everything, and notably, proposed to visit and apologize in person.

This… What logic allows for recovering what was consud? Yet, Hao Jian without knowing how, had truly made those people return what they had wrongfully taken.

He gazed at Hao Jian in astonishnt, speechless. After a lifeti of struggling in society and suffering such a great loss, he hadn’t even dared to retaliate, rely wishing for a peaceful future free from those people.

But this young man Hao Jian effortlessly resolved the unimaginable. This… once again, he looked at Hao Jian with newfound respect. Earlier, he had thought of him as sowhat pretentious, but now he recognized it as cool confidence. Who would dare boast so boldly without capabilities?

He put down the phone, intending to speak to Hao Jian, but at a loss for words, still processing his surprise. Hao Jian, observing this, suddenly stood up.

He then said, “Well, considering the situation, Uncle must have plenty of tasks to handle, so I shall not disturb you and take my leave.”

Liang Youzhen, upon hearing this, was sowhat surprised. From Hao Jian’s tone, it was clear he knew the situation already, surprising him even further. However, as Hao Jian intended to leave, he had no way to keep him. More importantly, as Hao Jian ntioned, the assets and such needed to be transferred back into his na, requiring quite so handling and arranging.

Thus, even though he was eager to ask Hao Jian how he accomplished this and properly thank him, he indeed had many tasks to deal with, unsure what to say at that mont, and decided not to detain Hao Jian.

A future opportunity might allow him to properly thank Hao Jian and inquire how it all ca to be.

As Hao Jian turned to leave without a word, Liang Yuwei suddenly stopped him, saying, “Don’t leave yet, I have sothing to tell you.”

Hao Jian halted his steps at once. He watched as Liang Yuwei moved upstairs. Seeing Liang Youzhen remain silent, he followed her, heading up to the second floor.

As Hao Jian ascended, Liang Youzhen watched his back, a gaze mixture of incomprehensible mystery and endless admiration. Compared to his nephew Ma Jingxuan, Hao Jian was incredibly pleasing and to his liking. He truly liked Hao Jian a lot. He was competent and capable, and, crucially, his daughter liked him as well.

Love begets love, and his opinion of Hao Jian couldn’t be better. He saw him as an excellent young man, and if he could truly beco his son-in-law, that would be wonderful.

Hao Jian followed Liang Yuwei to the second floor, where she entered a room—her bedroom—and Hao Jian entered as well. Once inside, Liang Yuwei closed the door.

Hearing the door close, Liang Youzhen smiled quietly, saying nothing. After all, young people had their own matters, and an old man like him had to refrain from certain things. Thus, he rely chuckled without word and sat on the sofa to sip tea, awaiting further instructions before attending to so matters.

Once Hao Jian was inside, Liang Yuwei shut the door and surprisingly locked it.

This left him utterly puzzled. Coming to the bedroom, closing the door, and then locking it!

Surely… surely… A mischievous grin spread across his face.
