Capítulo 1913: Chapter 2114: Suspension for One Week!!!

“I have…..”

Hao Jian spoke halfway and then a smile appeared on his face, and he suddenly stopped talking. Li Weiwei looked at Hao Jian with a bewildered expression. She was worried to death; if Zheng Wei really got angry at Hao Jian because of her due to that night’s incident, and then used his position as an excuse to take advantage of the situation to deal with Hao Jian, for example, expelling Hao Jian from school, that would be a big mistake for her.

At this mont, she was very worried because she didn’t know how Zheng Wei had punished Hao Jian. If it really were as she thought, then she would definitely feel very guilty. Hao Jian had saved her several tis, but she ended up letting Hao Jian face such a situation, and she would feel so guilty she’d die.

Then, she recalled how she had just scolded Hao Jian fiercely, and a wave of guilt arose in her heart.

“Why don’t you speak, you’re making anxious.” Li Weiwei said anxiously.

Hao Jian simply smiled; he was initially thinking of teasing her, but seeing her worried and anxious look, he montarily changed his mind.

He smiled and looked at Li Weiwei, saying, “Actually, it’s nothing. It’s just a one-week suspension, staying at ho, and paying so money to Liu Jie. There’s nothing else beyond that.”

Li Weiwei looked surprised upon hearing this: “Just a one-week suspension? Zheng Wei didn’t do anything to you?”

Liang Xiaohan, who already knew so things from being inside earlier, suddenly gave Hao Jian a glance and walked ahead alone. She knew her cousin was sincerely fond of Hao Jian, so if Hao Jian talked a bit more with other girls, she would show such an attitude towards Hao Jian.

She had heard clearly inside earlier. Zheng Wei initially wanted to expel Hao Jian, but Hao Jian took out his phone and played a recording. The recording had only played for a few seconds when Zheng Wei’s expression suddenly changed, and his tone and attitude imdiately shifted.

He originally said he wanted to expel Hao Jian and had a big tantrum, but after Hao Jian’s recording was played, Zheng Wei’s tone imdiately changed, saying he would handle the matter and that Hao Jian just needed to honestly stay in class and study.

However, later Hao Jian himself requested a one-week suspension to stay at ho; otherwise, the school rules wouldn’t hold. If he hit soone and sent them to the hospital without consequence, just sitting well in class, what would others think when they found out? Outsiders might think Hao Jian was sensible, but she knew very clearly that this was just Hao Jian finding an excuse for himself to slack off.

She had never heard anyone say the desire to avoid school in such a refreshing and unconventional way.

From this, she learned that the reason Hao Jian didn’t go back with her that night was that he wanted to have dinner with Li Weiwei in secret, even though they had just recently t. That’s why when they ca out, Hao Jian and Li Weiwei were chatting with smiling faces, and she couldn’t stand it, so she just left without a word.

Li Weiwei’s attention was all on Hao Jian, and she didn’t notice Li Weiwei leaving.

“What can he do to ?” Hao Jian asked.

Li Weiwei paused and said, “Didn’t he hold a grudge against you for ruining his ‘good deed’ that night, then take the opportunity to retaliate against you?”

Hao Jian smiled and said, “Even if he wants to, he probably doesn’t have the guts. Did you forget the recording I sent you?”

Li Weiwei was initially full of doubts, but after hearing Hao Jian’s words, she imdiately understood, her face lighting up with realization. She suddenly understood why Zheng Wei only punished Hao Jian with a one-week suspension; otherwise, according to Zheng Wei’s nature, expulsion would have been unavoidable. At this mont, she realized why Hao Jian ca out smiling instead of looking worried.

The face that was originally filled with worry suddenly showed joy; if that’s how it is, then that’s great. If it’s just a one-week suspension, it doesn’t have much impact, and she can catch up with the coursework later, so it won’t affect at all. The heart that was tightly gripped with worry suddenly relaxed.

“That’s good!” Li Weiwei said.

Hao Jian simply smiled, then took her out of the office building. After all, standing at the door of the dean’s office and discussing Zheng Wei wasn’t a great thing to do. What he didn’t know was that when he walked out of the office with Liang Xiaohan, Zheng Wei was so furious that he almost fell from his seat. In all the years he’s been in that position, it was the first ti he’d been threatened by a student like this.

The main issue is that the student threatened him, and he couldn’t do anything about it, being caught off guard with no way out. At this mont, he was so angry that he smashed the teacup on the table, shattering glass pieces everywhere.

After Hao Jian left the office building, he intended to leave. He was truly fed up with the early mornings and late nights over the past few days, constantly feeling sleep-deprived, which was why he kept dozing off in class. But just as he was about to leave, Li Weiwei grabbed him from behind.

Li Weiwei looked at him and said, “Since you’re staying ho for a week, don’t waste ti. With studies being so tight now, you have to review properly. Don’t squander this precious ti.”

Hao Jian could already imagine the kind of words that would follow if he listened any further, so he simply nodded and walked away. Li Weiwei had a look of disappointnt, but there was nothing she could do. Things had already happened, so she shook her head and went back to her office.

Leaving the school gates, Hao Jian went straight ho. As for Xiaohai, he didn’t need to worry too much. Since she caused such a big disturbance today, it’s unlikely anyone would dare to bother her at this mont. Liu Jie’s fate is right there; anyone wanting to end up like Liu Jie can try provoking her.

Speaking of Liu Jie, he brought this upon himself. Hao Jian beat him into the hospital, but it didn’t bother Hao Jian one bit. Liu Jie was injured and hospitalized, while Hao Jian might only have to pay so dical expenses and face so disciplinary action. For Hao Jian, the dical expenses are trivial, equivalent to a penny. If he wanted, he could easily buy the entire hospital. As for the disciplinary action, he’s unsure if a week of suspension counts as punishnt.

Once he returned to his temporary ho, Hao Jian lay down on the bed for a good rest. Exhausted to the point of death, he obviously took this chance to sleep well.

Lying in bed, his thoughts beca very clear. Since Yuwei assigned him the task of taking care of Xiaohan, protecting her from harm was undoubtedly part of it.

Eventually, he would definitely leave here; after all, he still had his own matters to attend to. He couldn’t possibly stay with Xiaohan in such a school indefinitely; it was an impossibility. Considering Xiaohan’s current state, she clearly wasn’t interested in building her influence like she used to at Degao. Now, she should be focusing on doing her own thing.

For instance, she used to skip classes frequently, barely spending ti in the classroom. But since coming here, she’s mostly sat in the classroom, even started listening to lectures. For soone like her, skipping class didn’t impact her grades much. Whether listening or not wasn’t that important. Her increased attendance and attentiveness here indicate she’s undergone a change.

No matter what, regardless of Xiaohan’s intentions, all he needed to do was exert his utmost effort in taking care of her.

Today’s incident served as a lesson. He couldn’t always be by her side; she had her own independent space and needed to manage her own affairs. Thus, after today, he experienced a slight change in perspective. Originally, he planned to be a passerby, leaving after a brief stay at the school. But now, he intended to make a noticeable impact.

After all, only when a person’s fists are strong enough can they protect everything they wish to protect. Even today, if he had sufficient authority at the school, Liu Jie wouldn’t dare treat Xiaohan like that; it wouldn’t even be a possibility.

If his influence at Yawen was as significant as Gu Peng’s, capable of causing such a sensation upon appearance, Liu Jie wouldn’t even dare to think about Xiaohan.

So, for the upcoming few days, he planned to rest well at ho, recuperate, and after a week, upon returning to school, he would start preparing to establish his own faction.

Although it’s a simple task, he intended to approach it seriously, considering Xiaohan would be here until high school graduation.

As he contemplated, drowsiness gradually overca him, and he closed his eyes, drifting into sleep.

One blink, and when he opened his eyes again, it was already evening.

Before long, Xiaohan returned, seemingly in a good mood, even bringing Hao Jian a late-night snack.

Hao Jian, feeling extrely grateful, got up to freshen up before enjoying the snack Xiaohan brought. After finishing, he turned around and saw Xiaohan already asleep, lying in bed.

Once he disposed of the trash and returned, he noticed she had kicked the blanket halfway to the floor. His face showed a hint of helplessness as he approached to tuck her in.

As he picked up the blanket and placed it on her, he turned to leave, but Xiaohan suddenly flipped over like a “carp turning”, throwing her legs over and quickly trapping Hao Jian’s…
