They had no doubts about Hao Jian’s earlier words; if they delayed any further in sending him to the hospital, the Dostic Abuser might really not wake up. Seeing the bloody wound on the Dostic Abuser’s face from being hit by the Iron Rod, it was clear this scar would likely stay with him for life.
At this mont, Scorpion Man and the underlings looked fearful, gazing at the wound on the Dostic Abuser’s face. Similarly, they were also a bit relieved, glad they hadn’t made a move. If they had, it would be them lying on the ground now.

Once the Dostic Abuser and his gang left, the onlookers cheered again, mostly praising Hao Jian as a good lad and so on. Hao Jian listened but didn’t respond.
The biggest characteristic of these people was that they wouldn’t dare co out or make a sound during the incident, but afterwards they’d jump in to praise him. If the situation had been different, with Hao Jian getting beaten by the Dostic Abuser’s group, likely there would have been many people saying he was unwise, knowing he couldn’t win and still pretending to be tough, and so on.

So Hao Jian just chuckled and didn’t say anything to them.
