Everyone looked terrified, then turned around. One glance at Hao Jian, and they all lowered their heads in fear, afraid of becoming the target of his revenge.

At this mont, Hao Jian’s face showed no emotion. He suddenly raised the cara and asked sternly, "Is all the material stored in this cara?"

The subordinate who had previously been responsible for filming said, "Yes, yes, everything is stored in this one cara, there are no backups."

Upon hearing this, Hao Jian smiled, suddenly raised the cara, and smashed it hard onto the ground. Digital caras are inherently fragile and can’t withstand impact; coupled with Hao Jian’s unusual strength, the cara instantly shattered into pieces, beyond recovery.

Everyone who witnessed this was shocked, thinking, luckily it was the cara that got smashed; if it were them, they would be done for, their lives almost over.

Afterwards, Hao Jian slowly squatted down and pulled out a mory card from the broken cara pieces. The photos and videos should be stored on this card. He had no doubt that the person might deceive him; given the situation, they were all terrified—deceiving him would be a dead man’s act.

Thus, he pulled out the mory card and crushed it in his hand, completely destroying it until it was utterly irrecoverable before throwing it to the ground. Since these were all incriminating materials and had ruined many lives, they must be destroyed completely.

From now on, these things will never exist again. Those subordinates saw Hao Jian do this and felt a bit reluctant, but dared not say a word, let alone stop Hao Jian, only watched from the side.

Hao Jian tossed the crushed mory card to the ground, then looked up at these people, intimidating each one with his killing intent-filled gaze, causing them to lower their heads.

Hao Jian looked sternly at each person and said, "Today’s matter ends here. But if I catch any of you continuing such activities, don’t bla for not sparing your lives."

Each person nodded fearfully. Given Hao Jian’s show of strength earlier, none of them doubted his words; if Hao Jian truly decided to end their lives, he would do it.

Simultaneously, each nodded in fear, promising never to repeat their actions. Hao Jian watched, saying no more, rely waving his hand, "Get out."

He knew Li Weiwei must be deeply frightened now; otherwise, he would continue to teach these people a lesson. But since she was scared, he needed to comfort her, so it was not appropriate for her to stand there alone, hence he waved them off.

After speaking, the group imdiately fled the scene, disappearing quickly.

Then, Hao Jian turned to look at Li Weiwei, her face still wet with tears, evidently not yet recovered from the fright. She was wrapped in his jacket; though it wasn’t cold, she looked as though chilled, still imrsed in the recent events.

However, this is all "deserved" by her. Who told her to say such things earlier and try to drive him away? It was her own doing; hence she must bear the consequences. Otherwise, this ti, next ti will be the sa, learning from experience—she must bear this consequence.

Thus, Hao Jian watched without pity, feeling it was deserved, and contemplated the next step—whether to send her ho or do sothing else.

Just then, Li Weiwei slowly recovered her senses, seeing that everyone had been chased away by Hao Jian, and quietly said, "Thank you, Hao Jian. If you hadn’t arrived in ti, I wouldn’t know how to cope."

She spoke from the heart; initially, she thought Hao Jian would not co, yet when she called his na, he appeared imdiately and rescued her. The gratitude was truly indescribable. Then she rembered, this was the second ti Hao Jian had saved her—the previous ti also from a group of people. This being the second ti, she suddenly was unsure how to thank him.

When Hao Jian heard her words, he surprisingly showed an impatient expression, saying, "Ha... earlier you wanted gone, claid not to know . Now you’re thanking ; won, indeed, are fickle creatures."

Li Weiwei listened, understanding what Hao Jian ant, hurriedly changing her tone, "Ah! I didn’t an it, I was drunk and babbling."

"Babbling?" Hao Jian’s expression was angry, "Can drunkenness excuse babbling? Does babbling excuse irresponsible, hurtful words to others? Quite a convenient excuse."

Seeing Hao Jian like this, Li Weiwei thought he was truly angry, got anxious and explained, "No, I didn’t an it, it wasn’t intentional. If you swap , I would never say such things now, you must believe ."

Maybe because Hao Jian saved her, seeing him angry now made Li Weiwei anxious, fearing he would never forgive her. Her current expression mixed fear and worry, looking pitiful.

Seeing her like this, Hao Jian wanted to laugh but restrained himself, knowing if he laughed now, Li Weiwei would not let him off lightly.

He kept a cold expression, saying, "Ha, won~ truly are like this."

Li Weiwei listened, unsure what to say to Hao Jian because saying more might seem more wrong, making Hao Jian more unhappy—it appeared he was quite angry.

Then she paused, asking, "How can I stop you from being mad?"

Hao Jian smiled inwardly; normally, Li Weiwei had a detached deanor—managing a class as a female headteacher was tougher, requiring a stern face daily. But now she was showing him a little woman’s posture; he couldn’t help but take extra glances since this Li Weiwei was a rare sight.

He thought for a while, maintaining an angry deanor, saying, "How to not be angry? Anger doesn’t just disappear at will; you’ve made angry, so I’ll be angry for a while. Do all won bla n angrily, hard to coax, then bla n for everything afterwards?"

"Now, I’m angry. You just ask how not to be angry, not why I’m angry. Think it through and act accordingly; maybe my anger will subside a bit. But it’s hard to suppress this feeling with your approach." Hao Jian said after a pause.

Li Weiwei heard, unsure what to do, yet felt Hao Jian’s words made perfect sense, thinking she was wrong and owed him. But still, she didn’t know what to do.

Hao Jian watched her dispiritedly but felt good inside. He noticed it was getting late; if he didn’t return, Xiaohai would be restless, so he said, "Actually, it’s simple to ease my anger—just promise to do three things for ."

Li Weiwei asked, "What three things?"

Hao Jian smiled, "I haven’t decided which three yet; I’ll tell you when I do."

"Okay, three things it is; I promise you." Li Weiwei nodded. Right now, not angering Hao Jian was the priority; since he saved her, causing further anger over sothing would feel like betraying him.

Hearing Li Weiwei’s promise, Hao Jian smiled, saying, "Alright, it’s settled, no going back—or you’ll be a coward."

Li Weiwei replied, "Fine, I won’t go back, but you mustn’t stay angry over this—it ends here."

Hao Jian laughed, changed the topic, and glanced at the surroundings. He intended to send Li Weiwei to the hotel since she wouldn’t go ho. But now she was alert; it depended on her choice.

"Back ho or find a place to stay?" Hao Jian asked.

On hearing, Li Weiwei knitted her brows, saying, "I don’t want to go ho."

Hao Jian was surprised by her direct answer, but since she doesn’t wish to return, there’s no point forcing her; it’s her freedom.

He said, "Alright, let’s find a place nearby to stay."

Then, Hao Jian pointed his finger toward the nearby hotel, saying, "Let’s go there; it’s close. Initially, I wanted you to rest overnight."
