Now reading: Chapter 2066 - 2267: Intentionally Throwing the Game!!! from Supremely Talented Tyrant, a Action novel by Hao Shuai Shuai.

Throughout the normal match, Gao Yanfei and his team didn’t substitute a single person, nor brought anyone on—there were no substitutions at all. anwhile, at Hao Jian’s side, they would replace several players almost every round to rest and rejuvenate, employing a fatigue tactic. Thus, at this point, everyone on Hao Jian’s side seed full of energy and vitality.

Conversely, looking at Gao Yanfei and his Class Five team mbers, they all appeared exhausted. In fact, since the second round, they had already shown signs of slight exhaustion. Coupled with the last round where Class Five essentially just ran alongside them without anyone resting, by the ti the third round was not over, they were already sowhat lacking in stamina.

If they continue with the sa five players in the fourth round, I’m afraid halfway through, they might not even have the energy to run. After all, if soone can play the entire match, their stamina is quite good. They initially thought they could defeat Hao Jian’s team with just one play, beating them in the first round outright.

Unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned, and now the situation has far exceeded their imagination. Even if they want to substitute now, they actually have no one to replace, and judging from the current situation, no one seems willing to step up, fearing embarrassnt.

So, although their overall strength is undoubtedly stronger than Class Three, the next round—also the final round—may find many lacking the energy to continue halfway through. Thus, Hao Jian is planning to change tactics.

Winning, of course, is necessary, but now it seems the outco is already decided. Since they want to play, why not play more excitingly?

Thinking this, Hao Jian has already shared his plan. Before they could nod, Hao Jian had assigned each of them their tasks.

Since it’s the final round, naturally all the elite mbers should go all out with no need to conserve energy any longer. Thus, no changes in the lineup—continuing with the players from the third round—Hao Jian then discussed the detailed tactics with them.

After listening, everyone nodded happily. Class Five’s provocations had been very frustrating, but they were a bit surprised by Hao Jian’s active challenge against Gao Yanfei to challenge Class Five. Now, with Hao Jian leading them, they already see the dawn of victory, and so are willing to follow his lead.

This isn’t a halfti break, hence won’t last long; soon it was ti to play. This is the last round, the finals, so everyone seed a bit tense. Initially here for entertainnt or ridicule, the outco now was unexpectedly surprising, and they all awaited the result.

So speculate Class Three could win because they currently lead by double the score. But others believe Class Five will inevitably surpass in the fourth round since they are certain to beat Class Three. After all, Gao Yanfei is considered adept, leading a group who regularly play basketball, while Hao Jian’s team is rely a bunch who can play but barely refined, so so support this viewpoint.

However, until the match concludes, every word now is idle talk as there’s no basis. The result can only be decided at the very end.

As they went on stage, Gao Yanfei suddenly approached Hao Jian, glaring at him fiercely, instinctively saying, "Just you wait, you’re definitely going to lose!"

Hao Jian didn’t quite understand why he liked threatening people verbally, but this ti, instead of walking away, he glanced back at Gao Yanfei and calmly said, "Then just wait and see."

Gao Yanfei chuckled, still displaying disdain toward Hao Jian, then said, "Fine, just wait and see," before returning to his team.

Next was the ball toss. The referee gave the ball to Hu Lai; Hu Lai quickly passed it to Zheng Jun, who swiftly dashed forward with the ball. Imdiately, soone rushed to block him. As instructed by Hao Jian, he first toyed with the opponent, pretending to attack but didn’t, feigned passing but refrained from doing so, using fake moves to exhaust the opponent’s stamina.

When that player was completely exhausted and couldn’t handle him anymore, Zheng Jun made a decisive pass, directly passing the ball to Hu Lai, who then took possession of the ball. However, at this mont, Hu Lai deliberately showed a flaw, and number three, positioned behind him, intercepted the ball.

The ball now belonged to Class Five, their eyes instantly brightened. This might be the beginning of hope. However, little did they know, when number three snatched the ball away, Hao Jian and his team revealed a subtle mocking smile.

Even if their skills weren’t as good, their opponents were visibly fatigued. If they truly didn’t want to pass the ball, with such poor stamina, could they have even intercepted successfully?

After all, Hu Lai and the team were all energetic, showing no sign of weariness. This was the advantage of the strategy Hao Jian had cleverly devised earlier.

After number three intercepted the ball, he intended to pass it to their backbone, Gao Yanfei. At this point, Gao Yanfei’s montum was noticeably more vigorous compared to earlier, perhaps due to it being the last round and the wide score gap between them and Class Three. He was restless, eager to score quickly and catch up.

Upon receiving the ball, Fatty and the others only symbolically blocked him, eventually allowing him to break through the half-court. He first stepped inside the two-point line, but as he prepared to rush forward, he suddenly pulled back abruptly. Apparently, he thought two points were insufficient and aid for a three-pointer.

Now, ti is money, he must hurry to score and catch up on points, otherwise continuing like this would surely an certain defeat. He stepped out to the three-point line, raised his head, and with no hesitation, released the ball perfectly.

"Three points!" Soone exclaid.

Gao Yanfei made a flawless three-point shot. However, when he turned around expecting cheers, he t silent faces. Sure, a perfectly executed three-pointer is impressive, but compared to Hao Jian’s spectacular slam dunk, three-pointers were no surprise now. There wasn’t much astonishnt in sight, and mainly because of Gao Yanfei’s earlier threats had silenced them, preventing them from supporting. Those expecting to see Class Five succeed were few now.

Though surprised, Gao Yanfei quickly regained his composure.

Next, when the ball was in Fatty and Zheng Jun’s hands, it was repeatedly intercepted. Then Class Five started fervently scoring under Gao Yanfei’s lead. Initially, seeing Gao Yanfei relentlessly score stirred excitent among Class Five, thinking this was the dawn of victory, believing Class Three couldn’t possibly defeat them.

Gradually, as Class Five continued intercepting Class Three’s ball, observant spectators perceived sothing amiss. It wasn’t that Class Five effortlessly seized Class Three’s ball, but rather Class Three deliberately allowed it.

Class Three intended for Class Five to intercept, and their defense was very lax, almost non-existent. At first, people thought it was Class Five’s outburst allowing them to catch up over ten points, but gradually they realized the truth.

Once the spectators discovered this fact, their expressions turned incredulous. Never had they heard of a ga where points were deliberately conceded. Although the score was doubly in their favor, letting go at this rate would soon allow others to catch up. Yet Hao Jian’s team continued giving up points, bringing the score discrepancy down slowly.

At this point, how could the audience not be astounded? They were in the final monts, willingly giving up points, which, if not done well, might end in their defeat. However, Hao Jian’s team remained confident, believing that letting go didn’t impact the final outco, and they would still win.

They began to regard Hao Jian and Class Three differently, knowing that to dare such actions, one must have genuine skill.

The match had entered a feverish stage.

The spectators discovered this truth, and Class Five wasn’t foolish, naturally realizing what was occurring, thus growing deeply resentful towards Hao Jian.

This way of letting go was a provocation, a form of contempt towards them.

Gao Yanfei naturally noticed this, growing increasingly resentful towards Hao Jian. However, he had no way to retaliate as they remained vastly behind Class Three in points. Thus, although aware they were being conceded, he could only continue this way.

Otherwise, catching up such a substantial gap would be exceedingly challenging.

At this point, Gao Yanfei’s heart was filled with agony, being humiliated by an opponent in such a manner, which made him feel worse than death. He silently shouted Hao Jian’s na several tis inside and cursed Hao Jian viciously.

When he wins, he will surely ensure Hao Jian experiences this feeling firsthand.
