This office area is quite lively, with a dozen or so people gathered together discussing so issue. Although separated by glass, the leader couldn’t hear the content of their discussion, but from their expressions, it was clear that everyone was focused, with a hint of eagerness in their eyes.

The young man giving the lecture looked animated and passionately enthusiastic. Every now and then, soone leaned forward eagerly and asked questions, which the lecturer promptly answered, leaving others appearing suddenly enlightened.

What a group of passionate young people, especially that young man giving the lecture, his "youthful acne" still visible on his face. Lecturing to so many people, he must be a promising young pillar of strength.

"What’s that young man’s na?" The leader noticed the passionate young man and thought, "This is how young people should be."

Dean Xia craned his neck, peered through the glass wall, and, dear , it’s none other than Zhang Lin, Sanbo’s super broadcaster. Thinking of Zhang Lin makes Dean Xia angry enough to want to slap him; he even mimicked him last ti.

"This young man must be a key figure at the institute, right?" The leader showed keen interest in this person, so young and yet supported by many, openly giving lectures to everyone. Definitely a key figure. Moreover, this young man has an extraordinary temperant, very confident, full of passion, and evidently has a fervent enthusiasm for scientific research.

Dean Xia scrutinized further, contemplating how to handle this, unable to candidly say he’s currently talking about gossip news during work hours.

"Hmm, yes, he’s one of our key figures. He’s also co-authored a monograph with his colleagues, filling a gap in the world."

The leader poked a few fingers in the air, saying, "Dean Xia, you’re too modest. You introduce these talented youths too cautiously, always careful. Be bold in introducing, what are you afraid of? Afraid that after I know, I’ll help others poach your talents?"

Dean Xia nodded slightly, feeling a bit flushed, though he hadn’t lied to the leader.

Thinking about it, Zhang Lin is indeed a key figure at the institute. He oversees the clinical ward’s intern doctors and trainee doctors, so he can be considered a key figure. He co-edited "Hook Surgery" with Little Five, the world’s first monograph on hookology, indeed filling a gap in the world.

The leader nodded with appreciation: "The atmosphere here is very good, you see everyone’s eyes are shining, everyone is full of thirst for knowledge. Doing research should be like this."

"This group of youngsters often argue fiercely over a question, sotis even slamming the table in the cafeteria, but it’s all academic debate, privately they have very good relations, and they usually gather to share experintal insights. Look, they’re sharing experintal insights now."

Hmm, the leader nodded with satisfaction, feeling the trip was not in vain. If they had officially co for an investigation in a grand manner, it would have disrupted their normal work and not shown such vivid scenes.

"Let’s move on."

Along the way, Dean Xia kept introducing a few things, like that confocal microscope is a dostic latest model, not far behind top international brands; about tumor treatnt K Therapy being internationally leading, an original newest tumor therapy technology with very promising prospects; a research institute recently published a heavyweight paper in the journal Nature. The leader listened with great interest, occasionally asking one or two very knowledgeable questions, such as whether the experintal animal model was planning to use gene knockout or tumor transplantation and the stage of clinical experints, showing that he wasn’t an outsider to contemporary dical research frontiers.

Their secret inspection proceeded unusually smoothly. Everyone in the laboratory was imrsed in their own world. Occasionally, soone would look up at them, perhaps thinking they were scholars from other universities or research institutes coming for exchanges or simply assuming they were engineers from equipnt companies, then quickly returned to their tasks.

This feeling of being thoroughly ignored was quite novel for the leader, used to being the focus wherever he went, adding to his belief that this "secret visit" was absolutely the right decision, sothing long overdue.

"It seems our mission was very successful!" The leader said lightly to the dean, with a relaxed tone tinged with a sense of teasing.

Dean Xia also breathed a sigh of relief: "These kids have their eyes only on experints. Never mind you, many newly arrived doctors here don’t even know , so I’m saying, I was caught here and criticized severely."

The two chatted on, inadvertently reaching near a corner of the public equipnt area, where so common large apparatuses like flow cytoters and high-performance liquid chromatographs were placed.

A young-looking doctor or postdoctoral researcher was frowning at an automatic enzy marker, tapping away as if so issue had occurred with the instrunt. The researcher appeared quite annoyed, with several bottles of cell culture supernatant waiting to be tested next to him, clearly in a hurry to asure the concentration of so cell factor.

As the leader and Dean Xia passed by, they instinctively glanced over, and the researcher suddenly raised his head, his sharp gaze sweeping over them, filled with suspicion and vigilance.

Dean Xia’s heart skipped a beat, sensing trouble. He did not recognize this young researcher; most likely, the researcher didn’t recognize Dean Xia either. Judging by the fearless look in his eyes, he’s surely soone who sticks to principles, strong in responsibility, viewing experintal safety and data confidentiality very seriously.

Indeed, the young man strode over, directly blocking the path toward the exit.

"Excuse , who are you?"

The young man’s voice carried a questioning tone, his gaze sweeping back and forth between Dean Xia and the leader, filled with obvious suspicion, "I’ve never seen you before, who are you?"

Dean Xia wore a face of embarrassnt. He opened his mouth but didn’t know how to introduce himself, directly saying I’m Dean Xia, and this is certain leader. That so-called secret investigation would beco a ridiculous joke, seeming as if intentionally mocking or secretly probing the researchers.

The leader also paused slightly, unexpected to be stopped at this last mont. With his status, usually drawing attention wherever he goes, he was unfamiliar with such questioning, but he imdiately recalled the original purpose of this visit—observing real situations, respecting the researchers.

He absolutely couldn’t put on a leader’s deanor at this mont. In a way, the researcher’s vigilance reflected responsibility towards his work.

"Well... actually... we... we are here to visit and learn!" Dean Xia attempted to stop and explain, a sowhat stiff smile forced onto his face.

But this excuse was weak, as any visit and learning would usually be communicated by the lab in advance, letting people be aware to prevent unrelated individuals from muddling up the pool.

"Visit and learn?" The researcher snorted coldly.

"Visiting and learning requires applying to the lab office in advance, going through our safety training. We need the arrangent of our personnel to accompany you throughout. Do you have an appointnt? Who approved it? Which teacher are you looking for? Where’s your visitor badge?"

A barrage of questions fired away like a storm, leaving Dean Xia struggling to respond. He couldn’t precisely say he’d authorized himself, and regarding the visitor badge, it hadn’t occurred to grab one earlier, having spontaneously co up with the idea.

Seeing this, the leader tried to ease the tension. He maintained a gentle smile, speaking in a consultative tone: "Comrade, we’re just casually looking around, getting to know our lab’s research environnt and working conditions, to feel the atmosphere. Rest assured, we won’t disturb anyone, and definitely won’t touch any equipnt or samples."

He particularly emphasized "won’t touch" to adhere strictly to laboratory safety rules.
