The board eting was in an uproar.

"An apology? Apologize to the Chinese? Do you realize how damaging this would be to the group’s reputation?"

"Comprehensive collaboration? What about our existing pipelines? What about the tumor departnt?"

"This is too aggressive! The shareholders will never agree!"

Li Gaoyang waited for the noise to subside and played his last card: "Ladies and gentlen, this isn’t the first ti we’re apologizing, and I’m sure you all rember the dinsionality reduction impact of K Therapy, right? Do we really want to go through that again? Now, we have two paths: one is to keep hiding behind Horton, weathering an ever-growing storm until the ship is wrecked; the other is to courageously step forward, admit to so past mistakes, lead the transformation, and beco the builders of the bridge between the old world and the new."

He paused, his voice now even deeper: "As for the shareholders... when the market value of the other six companies continues to plumt, but our stock price rebounds against the trend because we have first obtained comprehensive cooperation rights with the systemic regulation theory; when we, through a new model of collaboration, develop the next disruptive therapy and redefine the market, the shareholders will understand what true foresight is."

"Besides," he added, his tone suggestive, "I personally am a beneficiary of K Therapy, and my life is the best proof and endorsent of this vision."

This last statent gradually quieted the intense opposition. The harsh and powerful reality was laid bare before everyone.

An hour later, the Giant Group’s board narrowly passed Li Gaoyang’s proposal.

The next day, at ten in the morning.

While global dia were still caught in the ongoing storm created by the patient alliance, an even more explosive piece of news was released through Giant Group’s official channels and Li Gaoyang’s personal social dia account simultaneously.

It was a seven-minute video.

Li Gaoyang wore a dark suit, sitting in front of a minimalist office background, without a script, looking directly at the cara.

"Li Gaoyang, chairman and CEO of Giant Group. Today, I am making this statent on behalf of myself and the Giant Group."

"First, I must be honest about one thing: I am a patient with a malignant brainstem tumor, and dicine had already sentenced my illness to death. The reason I can stand here today, think clearly, and make this speech is due to the K Therapy developed by Professor Yang Ping and his team, and the systemic regulation theory behind it."

"It seems this is already the second ti I’m sitting here talking about this matter."

The opening was earth-shattering.

"As a patient, I have personally experienced the life miracle brought by the systemic regulation theory. As a leader of a pharmaceutical company, I have, however, witnessed and partly participated in the industry’s rejection, misunderstanding, and inappropriate resistance to this theory. I deeply regret this and am willing to take personal responsibility."

"In the past few months, motivated by certain forces, the industry has attempted to limit the developnt and application of the systemic regulation theory through questioning, regulatory pressure, and public opinion guidance. These actions stem partly from a lack of understanding of new scientific paradigms and partly from protection of existing comrcial interests. Regardless of the original intent, the result has been a delay in dical progress and potentially deprived many patients of the opportunity to receive better treatnts, which is wrong, absolutely wrong."

"Therefore, I hereby announce on behalf of Giant Group:"

"First, we openly acknowledge the scientific value of the systemic regulation theory and its profound significance to modern dicine. We respect and congratulate Professor Yang Ping’s team on winning the Nobel Prize, which is well deserved."

"Second, we apologize for any past inappropriate words or actions that might have impeded the developnt of this theory. We will imdiately cease participating in any actions that could limit free scientific exchange and collaboration."

"Third, and most importantly: We formally extend an invitation for comprehensive strategic cooperation to the Sanbo Yang Ping research team. The cooperation we envision is not limited to the licensing of K Therapy in specific regions but encompasses a complete system from basic research, clinical translation, doctor training to global market expansion. We are willing, with the greatest sincerity and respect, to work together under the leadership of Professor Yang Ping’s team to usher in the era of systemic dicine."

At the video’s end, Li Gaoyang paused, his gaze more determined:

"The mission of dicine is to conquer disease and save lives. This mission is above company profit, above academic prejudice, above national divides. Today, Giant Group chooses to stand on the side of life, on the side of the future, on the side of truth. We look forward to advancing hand in hand with all who share this vision."

Within an hour of the video’s release, the views exceeded 50 million, with millions of shares.

Public opinion completely reversed.

The stock price of Giant Group, twenty minutes after the video’s release, stopped its decline and surged upward, closing with an astonishing 15% increase, recovering nearly all lost ground, while the stocks of the other six pharmaceutical companies faced more intense sell-offs after a brief shock.

Li Gaoyang’s statent was clearer and more powerful than before, slicing through the seemingly unyielding traditional pharmaceutical camp like a precise surgical knife. He positioned himself and the group as the "awakeners" and "pioneers," pushing other competitors into the awkward position of being the "staunchly conservative."

More importantly, he provided a clear "solution" and "way out": comprehensive cooperation, embracing the future.

The pressure now rested entirely on the other six pharmaceutical companies and those regulatory bodies still on the fence.
