Hanging up Yin ng’s call, Su Xiaong handed the phone back to Yin Shixiu.
"Uncle... are you feeling better?"
"Hopefully, I can safely drive ho." Yin Shixiu had a face showing he wasn’t certain either, which really left Su Xiaong quite confounded.
"Looking so robust, but a single punch can knock it out..."
Su Xiaong looked out the window, she couldn’t help but mutter.
Yin Shixiu heard it, wasn’t angry, just shrugged, "After all, I’m an old man now, you can’t defy aging, right? You’re young, shouldn’t always bother with us old n, right?"
He deliberately emphasized "old," to Su Xiaong, it was pure sarcasm!!!
Although they were heading to Yin Shixiu’s apartnt, it still took about an hour’s drive, by the ti the car ca to a stop, Su Xiaong had already fallen asleep.
Her head leaned, nestled in her own scarf and knit hat.
Yin Shixiu chuckled quietly, the little girl does look truly cute.
"Su Xiaong..."
Yin Shixiu’s slender index finger lightly tapped the steering wheel, unconsciously repeating the na, as if contemplating sothing...
"What?"
No one expected Su Xiaong to wake up just then, hearing Yin Shixiu call her na, she couldn’t help but respond.
Yin Shixiu turned his head, his expression naturally, "We’re here, get off the car."
"Oh."
Su Xiaong unbuckled the seat belt, just as she got off the car, a cold wind sliced through like a knife, making her shiver and her head seemingly wanting to shrink into her neck.
Yin Shixiu took off his scarf and smoothly wrapped it around Su Xiaong’s head, covering most of her face.
Su Xiaong hesitated for a mont, instinctively wanting to refuse, but Yin Shixiu had already pulled her into his embrace, holding her as they walked into the apartnt building, only releasing her when they entered the elevator.
Su Xiaong felt a bit stiff, she thought Yin Shixiu’s every movent felt too intimate and too natural towards her.
She looked at her reflection in the elevator door, the dark gray scarf’s scent was unfamiliar yet sohow vaguely familiar, her head wrapped like a dumpling, showing just one and a half eyes...
This appearance was utterly comical.
Glancing sideways at the perpetrator, the man was also looking at her through the elevator door, eting her gaze, without evasion nor turning away, still maintaining his usual faint smile, anwhile, he even reached out and patted her head.
She should have felt disgusted, ever since knowing what that old man had done to her. Yet what disgusted Su Xiaong even more was... she didn’t actually mind Yin Shixiu’s touch that much.
If not for that night’s indiscretion, he would just be Yin ng’s little uncle, Su Xiaong thought she might even admire him just like Yin ng does.
Admire his extraordinary handso looks, his cultivated deanor, his exceptional abilities, and so forth.
"Uncle..." Su Xiaong said muffled, wrapped in a scarf.
"Hm?"
"I feel like the way you look at is a bit lecherous."
"If you’re thinking of any bad ideas towards , I advise you to nip those evil thoughts in the bud. Otherwise..."
Su Xiaong slightly raised her head, the one and a half eyes exposed from the scarf and knit hat carrying a hint of nace.
The elevator door opened, Yin Shixiu walked out first, "Or what?"
Su Xiaong followed him out, snorting fiercely, "I’ll tell ng ng about you harming the country’s young, then put it online, in newspapers, on radio, and on TV, making it known nationwide. I won’t stop until your reputation is utterly ruined!"
