As they stepped out of the dormitory door, a piercing cold wind hit them directly, making Su Xiaong shiver. Yin Shixiu pulled her hand and smoothly tucked her into his embrace until they were in the car before letting go.
Yin Shixiu went back around to the driver’s seat. Once seated, he couldn’t help but exhale a long breath of cold air.
"Why does it feel particularly cold in Beijing this year?" he said casually, glancing at Su Xiaong. "Buckle up."
"Oh."
Yin Shixiu then started the car, and before they left the residential area, Su Xiaong’s phone rang.
She glanced at the caller ID, and it was Ren Yixuan.
Hesitating for a mont, she still picked up the call, "Ren Yixuan..."
Yin Shixiu listened in surreptitiously to the phone call.
"Where are you?"
Ren Yixuan’s tone was as cold as ice.
"I..." Su Xiaong glanced at Yin Shixiu, her small hand clenched, her voice lowered and sowhat muffled, "I’m in the dormitory, I’m not feeling well, I’ll hang up now."
After saying that, she hung up the phone.
"Why didn’t you tell the truth?" Yin Shixiu asked.

Su Xiaong stuffed her phone back into her down jacket pocket, looking at the window, where a faintly dejected and lancholy face was reflected.
