The days passed quickly, and Su Xiaong’s cold got better as her mindset adjusted.
For the past few days, Xiao ng has been recuperating at ho. Although Claire is excellent at taking care of people, Yin Shixiu mostly took care of her personally.
With Xiao ng’s health improved, the happiest ones were Shuangshuang and Huang Huang.
Firstly, they felt Dad hasn’t stayed at ho for this long in a while, as he usually leaves early and returns very late.
Secondly, after yearning for many days, they finally got to snuggle up to Mom!
"Balancing work and family without a hint of complaint, where do you find such n? Ma’am, you’re truly lucky."
Claire said to her, and Xiao ng thought, well, she is indeed luckier than most people.
The knot in her heart wouldn’t disappear, but it also wouldn’t turn into a malignant tumor, eroding her body.
A setback like this is boundless freedom, and that’s roughly what it ans.
Xiao ng felt she handled the matter quite properly, without scrutinizing, investigating, or verifying, and those decisions were all correct.
Dad once said, an unclear person actually lives a happier life.
Xiao ng always believed this saying, although Mom always stubbornly thought Dad was just making excuses for his own muddle-headedness!
Checking the ti, Xiao ng said,
"Isn’t it about ti to pack the luggage? Once he returns, we can leave."
Yin Shixiu arranged a private jet, and even though it wasn’t Xiao ng’s first ti flying in one, she always felt money flows away like "water rushing " with each trip.
Living with Yin Shixiu for a few years, Xiao ng has changed greatly in many aspects, except her understanding of money still rests on that of an "ordinary resident."
If she continued with this mindset, Yin Shixiu’s earnings might just end up mouldering in the bank.
Claire nodded,
"Hmm, almost ti."
"Actually there’s not much to pack, just the coffee beans I had prepared earlier and a few gifts, that’s all."
Living essentials are available at the Beijing residence.
Claire responded and went to pack the luggage.
Xiao ng leaned on the sofa, holding a cup of hot ginger tea, while the siblings lay on the sofa, probably tired from playing earlier.
When Yin Shixiu returned, the siblings were already refreshed and brimming with energy.
Xiao ng told them they would soon see Grandpa and Grandma, Grandpa and Grandma, and Great Grandpa...
Shuangshuang and Huang Huang missed them dearly. After all, compared to their parents, these relatives only ever pampered them and never reproached them.
They are relatives, how could the little ones not be excited.
Su Xiaong approached and took his bag,
"Everything’s packed; the gifts for Mom and Dad, Grandpa and Grandma, and presents for the kids are all ready, filling up one big suitcase!"
Yin Shixiu gave her a hug, "Thank you."
Su Xiaong shrugged, "It’s alright. How about your day, was it smooth?"
"Yes, everything went smoothly; dealing with the remaining matters in Beijing will be more convenient."
Yin Shixiu checked the ti, it was already past six in the evening...
"Let’s have a al first, then head to the airstrip."
"Okay."
With that, Claire had already dragged the suitcase out, a big one and a small one, the door opened, and the driver outside took their luggage.
Yin Shixiu glanced at Su Xiaong, helped adjust her hat, and wrapped her scarf properly,
"Don’t get sick again, if you’re ill when we arrive in Beijing, Mom and Dad will surely interrogate ."
"Shouldn’t you be interrogated?"
Su Xiaong raised an eyebrow and asked.
"...Yes."
Shuangshuang and Huang Huang each carried a small backpack, which presumably contained their favorite toys...
The siblings ran excitedly following the driver, ignoring Yin Shixiu and Su Xiaong behind.
Yin Shixiu embraced Su Xiaong’s shoulders, pulling her close...
"What are you doing?"
"It’s cold outside, wrapping you tightly."
Su Xiaong rolled her eyes, noticing his scarf was not tied properly, she reached out to adjust it.
Yin Shixiu lowered his head and kissed her.
Su Xiaong paused for a mont, then glanced at him speechlessly,
"The kids are right ahead, be careful!"
Su Xiaong muttered, looking forward, not imdiately spotting the siblings, but noticed Chu Jiao approaching with a fruit basket and fresh flowers.
Chu Jiao saw them kissing...
Her posture stiffened slightly, but she quickly adjusted her expression and walked straight over,
"Xiao ng, I was just going to visit you at ho. You haven’t been to school in days; is your health better?"
Su Xiaong didn’t expect Chu Jiao to visit her; Yin Shixiu still had her in his arms, making it a bit inconvenient, Xiao ng slipped out of his embrace, seeing Chu Jiao carrying a fruit basket and flowers...
"For ?"
"Yes, but...seeing you like this, are you heading sowhere far?"
Su Xiaong nodded, "Yes, going to Beijing for the New Year, will return after the holiday."
"After New Year, will you be able to keep up with your classes at school?"
Su Xiaong chuckled, pointing at Yin Shixiu, said,
"See, I was very sick a few days ago, and he insisted I stay away from school, said he’d help catch up with my classes."
The sweetness in Su Xiaong’s eyes, to Chu Jiao appears sowhat piercing.
Following Xiao ng’s gesture, Chu Jiao naturally shifted her gaze to Yin Shixiu,
"With Mr. Yin’s help, your wife will surely be fine."
"As long as you don’t give her a hard ti, she’ll be fine."
"Mr. Yin jokes, why would I make things difficult for her, she’s a student I really like... does Mr. Yin have a prejudice against ?"
Chu Jiao continued smiling and asked.
Su Xiaong quickly glared at Yin Shixiu,
"How can you speak to my teacher like that! Why would she make things difficult for ?"
Yin Shixiu reached out and pulled Su Xiaong back to his side, hinting,
"Not sure, people are unpredictable, don’t take the teacher thing too seriously, teaching is teaching, learning is learning, student-teacher is just student-teacher."
Su Xiaong couldn’t fathom what Yin Shixiu ant by that.
Anyone could tell his words weren’t very friendly.
Chu Jiao didn’t get angry,
"Seems Mr. Yin truly holds quite a prejudice against ; student-teacher is just student-teacher, I understand..."
She paused, raising her eyebrows, gazing at Yin Shixiu with a bit more affection,
"Rest assured, Mr. Yin, I don’t intend to have any other relationship with your wife..."
"That’s good."
"Your wife is a very excellent student; my visit is simply a show of care from a ntor to a student."
Su Xiaong didn’t understand what got into Yin Shixiu.
After these words, how could she still be friends with Chu Jiao?
Xiao ng felt annoyed, but didn’t want to make a scene in front of Chu Jiao.
"This fruit basket and flowers..."
"Thank you for your kind gesture; you see, it’s inconvenient to bring these along."
Yin Shixiu’s voice was chillingly cold.
Su Xiaong could barely stand it, quickly stepped forward to accept the fruit basket and flowers,
"It’s convenient, thank you, Cherry! I’ll take these!"
Yin Shixiu slightly frowned.
"Dad, Mom!"
The eager voices of Prince Huang and Shuangshuang rang out, urging them.
Xiao ng didn’t keep the kids waiting, then bid farewell to Chu Jiao.
Carrying the fruit basket and holding the flowers, it was sowhat inconvenient, so she handed the flowers to Yin Shixiu, "You take it!"
Yin Shixiu glanced at the flowers in his arms, only finding them pungent, with his other hand wrapping Su Xiaong, thus walked past Chu Jiao...
Brushing past her, Chu Jiao softly spoke to Yin Shixiu,
"Rest assured, Arthur... I won’t say anything. This will remain a forever secret."
"..." Yin Shixiu cast her a glance.
Chu Jiao maintained a beautiful smile... as always.
Before entering the elevator, Yin Shixiu casually placed the flowers on the trash bin outside the elevator.
Chu Jiao saw as the elevator closed that Xiao ng attempted to retrieve them but was pulled back by Yin Shixiu, muttering sothing, leaving Su Xiaong looking a bit like a disgruntled wife...
