Two days later at the Yin Mansion, white silk was fluttering in the house, with white flowers tied at the door.

The morial hall was set up in the main hall of Zheng Garden, with participants clad in mourning attire.

The vigil lasted for three days; today was the first day. Outside the gate of the Yin Mansion, vehicles were incessantly stopping and leaving.

The news of Yin Shixiu being buried at sea, with no remains, had already swept through Beijing, most of China, and even created a stir in the world economy.

As attention-grabbing as the news of Yin Shixiu’s death was its cause.

A video of the president of the Yin Group being caught for "drug smuggling" at an inspection station was anonymously posted online.

Subsequent news reports from legal dia elaborated on a series of cases surrounding Shi Shengde’s jailbreak on June 7th.

Wu Rong, the head of the Beijing Public Security Bureau, acted as the chief commander, while Bai Sidong, the captain of the criminal police unit, led an operation at the Tianjin Port to capture Shi Shengde, a large-scale drug trafficking jailbreak convict from the Shengde Group. However, due to Shi Shengde’s intense resistance and ard threats to the police, he was shot dead on the spot during the operation.

Simultaneously, twenty-six accomplices, ard criminals, were killed and three were captured alive. Among them, one attempted to escape by jumping out of a car but was hit and killed by an oncoming truck.

Shortly before 4 p.m. that day, Yin Shixiu was found at the Beijing Inspection Station in a van with three other individuals.

The four allegedly threw boxed drugs out of the vehicle during a police spot check and then fled.

The public security departnt did not provide a definite response to the issue of the president of the Yin Group appearing at the Beijing Inspection Station and driving with drugs.

They rely stated that the matter was still under investigation and evidence collection.

But the dia did not let the issue go, even guiding public opinion...

In the surveillance video, Yin Shixiu was clearly composed, appearing unthreatened and at ease, suggesting no loss of personal freedom.

The implication was that Yin Shixiu’s involvent in drug smuggling seed confird, as he had boarded a yacht alone at the Tianjin Port that night, perhaps with prior intentions to escape prosecution.

The yacht explosion was truly unfortunate, but as the saying goes, "the law is ticulous and will not miss anything!"

The overwhelming news and public opinion bore down, and even on the first day of the vigil, the public dia had no intention of sparing the Yin Family.

The gate of the Yin Mansion was busy with guests coming and going to bid farewell to Yin Shixiu, with so reporters mixed among them.

Security kept them outside the gate, but the guests could not avoid the reporters’ inquiries.

No matter how external opinion developed, the fact that the elderly couple of the Yin Family lost their son was undeniable.

At eleven o’clock, the gate of the Yin Mansion closed, and all visitors were asked to leave.

Reporters who had been waiting all morning at the gate of the Yin Family showed no signs of leaving, seemingly anticipating soone.

At this mont, a black sports car approached at a steady pace, and the gate of the Yin Mansion reopened.

The dia reporters seed like dogs with keen noses, crowding forward before the car even entered the gate!

Inside the car, Su Xiaong wore sunglasses and a baseball cap.

In the child’s car seat beside her sat Shuangshuang and Huanghuang.

The car windows were one-way, so those outside couldn’t see in, but those inside could see out.

Shuangshuang widened her eyes, observing the crowd surrounding the car, and looked at Su Xiaong, asking,

"Mom, what are they doing?"

"They’re here to welco us back."

Shuangshuang grinned, showing her white teeth, "Wow, Shuangshuang is really popular!"

The little girl clapped her hands joyfully!

Prince Huang was sleepy throughout the ride, but at the gate, his eyes were alert, free from drowsiness.

"Mom, they’re so noisy..."

"Hmm, they are a bit."

Her eyes were dark as ink beneath her sunglasses, and she calmly said to Driver Huang,

"Uncle Huang, drive straight in. If anyone gets hit, it’s on ."

Driver Huang pressed his lips together before stepping on the gas. The luxury sports car’s wheels roared, prompting reporters initially standing in front of the car to quickly step aside.

Raising their heads again, the car’s back was visible for a mont before it disappeared into the depths of the mansion.

"Wow! The driver is amazing!"

Shuangshuang cheered with her arms waving.

At this mont, Huanghuang also felt a bit excited but, compared to Shuangshuang, the more reserved Prince Huang only whispered to Su Xiaong,

"We’re going to see Dad, I’m happy."

Su Xiaong lowered her head, eting the crescent-shaped eyes of Prince Huang...

She gently caressed his head, "Hmm."

Uncle Huang, driving the car, could see the bright, clear smiles of Shuangshuang and Huanghuang in the rearview mirror.

The brighter those smiles, the more heart-wrenching they beca.

Even at this mont, Su Xiaong still had not told Shuangshuang and Huanghuang that their father had passed away.

Perhaps she didn’t know how to break the news to them.

Perhaps she herself couldn’t accept that her husband was gone.

Let nature take its course...

Su Xiaong looked out the car window, her eyes beneath the sunglasses were red, filled with bloodshot threads.

The car stopped at the entrance of Zheng Garden, outside which two rows of long wreaths had been placed, delivered by visitors in the morning.

"Xiaong... we’re here."

Uncle Huang said.

Su Xiaong remained silent, staring through the windshield, focusing on the two rows of wreaths, the white silk hanging from the porch, and the white flowers at the door...

Soone was crying...

The sound of sobbing faintly reached her ears.

"Mom, so many white flowers!"

Shuangshuang, having never seen such a scene, blinked in wonder and asked,

"Why are there so many white flowers?"

Pointing with her little fingers at everything outside that intrigued her.

"These are for your dad."

Su Xiaong removed her sunglasses, unbuckling Shuangshuang and Huanghuang’s safety belts while speaking subtly.

"For dad, why?"

Su Xiaong paused for a mont, eting Shuangshuang’s puzzled gaze, and after a long while, she mustered a smile,

"Dad... is going on a long journey, and his friends ca to see him off. These white flowers are their blessings, wishing him a safe journey..."

Perhaps Su Xiaong’s words were slightly profound, with so vocabulary Shuangshuang couldn’t comprehend.

After Su Xiaong’s explanation, the confusion on Shuangshuang’s face only deepened.

What does that an...

Su Xiaong’s eyes glistened with tears; what now? She realized... she couldn’t continue the charade.

Uncle Huang, finding it hard to watch, urged,

"Hurry out of the car."

Having said that, he exited to help Su Xiaong unload the luggage.

With the car parked, the people inside heard the commotion; Yin ng and Ming Lang, along with Ming Xu, ca out.

Seeing that it was indeed Su Xiaong returning with the children, for a mont—

"ng ng, Ming Lang, Ming Xu, could you help with the luggage?"

"Oh, oh!"

Yin ng and Ming Lang, along with Ming Xu, looked exhausted, their eyes filled with indescribable sorrow, but upon seeing Su Xiaong, their own emotions subsided, focusing more on their concern for her.

Su Xiaong still wore a baseball cap, with slightly swollen eyes, yet it wasn’t hard to notice she had applied light makeup, lips showing a faint pink color.

Upon hearing Su Xiaong, Ming Lang and Ming Xu hurried forward to help Uncle Huang retrieve the luggage from the trunk.

Yin ng summoned a servant to assist in transporting the luggage to Jun Garden.

Su Xiaong wore a black form-fitting long dress, with Shuangshuang and Huanghuang also dressed in black.

"Brother Ming Lang? Brother Ming Xu?"

Shuangshuang’s large eyes darted between Ming Lang and Ming Xu...

Ming Lang crouched down, nuzzling Shuangshuang’s nose,

"Guess."

"Hmm..."

Shuangshuang smiled broadly, throwing her arms around Shan Minglang’s neck,

"I guess, Brother Ming Lang!"

Shan Minglang lifted Shuangshuang and gave her a firm kiss.

However, this kiss brought a sting to Ming Lang’s nose, causing his eyes to redden involuntarily.

Yin ng took a deep breath, gazing at Su Xiaong,

"ng ng... are you okay?"

Su Xiaong didn’t respond directly to Yin ng’s question but took Prince Huang’s hand,

"Let’s go, Huanghuang, we’ll send Dad off."

Huanghuang looked up, observing the ambiance surrounding them, gripping Su Xiaong’s hand slightly tighter...
