The betting pool on ’Snow Cloud Peak’ didn’t materialize, everyone standing in the cabin chose the Double-headed Giant.
No one cared about the lurking Peeker, but the representatives of the Queen couldn’t possibly have such a universally known scandal... Queen Alia is the most loyal follower of the Mother Earth, how could she have soone who ddles with Unicorns by her side?
Even if that Alchemist was still sowhat useful... you could see from how well he’s living, otherwise he’d have been expelled long ago!
Consider Edna’s biological father, who is a descendant of Azuth! When greater interests are at play, he’s still ousted as usual! So many Archmages in Silvermoon City and not one considers the face of the Deity of Mages.
The style difference of these power-holders likely just jumps between thick-skinned and extrely thick-skinned.
Yet, openly, Xieke, who has already exposed his evil nature, cannot have any relationship with the Royal Family.
The Undead Tribe here can be considered as well-versed... though most of them have rather thick skins, most Kings still want to save face for themselves, the stronger the country, the more so... so when one unashad surfaces, they quickly beco known worldwide.
The Queen of Moonshadow Archipelago has been in power for over 100 years, although she’s done her share of unscrupulous and disgusting deeds, openly, Queen Alia is still quite regal and decisive, most of Moonshadow Island’s populace has so faith in her.
In Elves’ words, she likes to show her kind side when speaking... everyone must rember upon seeing her that Queen Alia is a Patron of the Mother Earth.
Xieke might have rushed in exactly because he knows nothing... except for those treasures.
As for the Double-headed Giant Nick Nack... Ellie’s astonished voice is enough to prove how well he fits in at Moonshadow Archipelago, even the cautious Halflings have a good rapport with him.
Such a uniquely positioned Druid, especially one with that philosopher profession, is always officially recognized as a friend, even if he’s a notoriously violent Double-headed Giant.
Therefore, this Double-headed Giant has to act with great charisma, those appearing after Nick Nack need him to observe carefully, to see if there are any sinister intentions.
Even though the Undead Tribe isn’t afraid of being duped... even if the protective mission fails, so what?
They aren’t protecting Edna anyway, if sothing happens, everyone would surely be devastated.
Yet still, ’Snow Cloud Peak’ hopes not to lose in the scheming battles... even against NPCs.
He casually flips out his tablet intending to glance at Baldy’s engagent... though in so respects, Baldy and he have always had the sa goals, but if by achieving that goal he can incidentally make ’Snow Cloud Peak’ suffer, Baldy would gleefully sabotage, even if he suffers too: as long as he dies one less ti, that guy would revel in it.
’Snow Cloud Peak’ looked again at that Double-headed Giant, after he appeared, a swarm of adventurers volunteering erged instantly; apparently waiting by the side all along... it seems Queen Alia is indeed quite embraced by the populace, Old Grandmother’s image is maintained quite perfectly.
Tsk tsk~
If not for how heartlessly she beheaded her inexplicably fallen sister when she ascended, he might’ve actually believed it!
Huh?
Sounds familiar?
He furrowed his brows searching his mind, feeling he’d heard a similar story... his peripheral vision caught the ’Old Age Striking King’ on the other side of the tablet, suddenly realizing... it has similarities to the story of Vila with the Young Master’s little Fairy’s Queen Mom and her unfortunate Aunt.
Though, events from over 100 years ago might only still linger with the Elves, right? If he didn’t have a good rapport with the Elves, he wouldn’t hear their intriguing comnts on the surrounding forces.
But in the human realm... Toril here progresses and replaces rapidly, it should already be at the great-grandson generation, who would bother delving into stories from their great-grandfather’s era.
’Snow Cloud Peak’ glanced down, seeing Baldy and Ambori enjoying themselves... that piece of kelp oddly insisted on floating in the middle of the island, with no intention of heading towards the sea to overturn the Magic Ship.
Though this aligns with their ti-dragging idea, but a Goddess of the Sea stubbornly defending against oceanic enemies on land... looks decidedly peculiar.
’Snow Cloud Peak’ scratched his cheekbone with his paw: "Marla, likely really on Ningbrol Island.
Strange, I thought he might co to Moonshadow Archipelago!
Does he know Talos has erged hence hiding away?
His only less problematic relation seems to be with the sowhat sympathetic Ambori."
Although Olypher is a bit unlucky too, at most that Great Fairy would exchange a few words with Ambori, Marla she’s absolutely dismissive of.
Ambori thinks, if the Undead Tribe launches an amphibious attack, could the Lord of Beasts launch a sneak attack?
Her mind indeed remains as simple as a protozoan!
```
’Snow Cloud Peak’ pondered for a mont and decided to send a ssage to remind Baldy... Currently, it’s him who needs the other side’s help, so showing so sincerity might be better.
Even though it seems like pointless talk, smart people can guess that Ambori has so tricks up their sleeve, but... blaming later is never as useful as so seemingly pointless chatter at the start.
’Snow Cloud Peak’ has always been thorough in his work and is not interested in getting into argunts with people.
"It looks like the news about the treasure has spread. Could there be an Ancient Giant Dragon coming over?" ’Mobi Chenxin’ stood behind him... This guy, though always carrying a bit of a young master’s deanor, is willing to gamble and lose, and perhaps due to being a playboy for so long, he’s developed a thick skin and doesn’t mind acting as Snow Old Dog’s secretary, better than most people... He said worriedly, "Too many bombers would be quite troubleso."
"By the ti you thought of this~ we’d already be blown to bits." ’Snow Cloud Peak’ said nonchalantly, "The Arausato is already flying overhead, and it’s brought a few Ancient White Dragons from further east of the World’s Ridge."
He revealed a smile with an indiscernible aning: "These Ancient White Dragons living in the Great Ice Sea, after knowing how much Arausato can earn from the Undead Tribe in one go, crossed the Ferun Great Land without hesitation.
It’s impossible for the Ancient White Dragons to easily make a contract with the Undead Tribe, but earning money~ they definitely want to earn.
It’s the first ti the White Dragons can feel so proud in front of other Chromatic Dragons!
Chromatic Dragons, besides the White Dragons who are able to appear directly near the Agleya territory because of that couple, the others coming over would be seeking death, wouldn’t they?
As for the tal Dragons, the reason they haven’t co to Agleya for missions is probably because it’s already marked as Terry’s territory!
The reason Tasding can co is also because he was invited by Terry, isn’t it? Moreover, you see, even though the rcury Dragon works hard for money, they’re all earning commission outside the city.
Even though that Little Golden Dragon doesn’t have great personal skills, his status is certainly not low.
That pair of Gold and Silver Dragons in the North only has this one precious son.
Even though those two don’t often co to Agleya themselves... they have a Harpist associated with them running over here every third day.
However, Terry doesn’t seem to think the sa way, haha, what a lucky kid~"
"The last ti I chatted with Terry, his words were all complaining about Elaströ." An Undead Tribe female mage said with a laugh, "The Little Golden Dragon thinks his parents gave up their own biological son to repay a favor and has been very upset about it."
"That’s why I say he’s lucky!" ’Snow Cloud Peak’ laughed, "That couple, from the start, put Terry in a place that will absolutely not be influenced by the Silvermoon Alliance."
"Ah..." He put away the tablet, and said calmly, "It seems our guests are finally satisfied.
It’s already dusk! Be careful when sailing at night.
That Thieves’ Guild Ellie ntioned, they’re quite good at disguises, aren’t they?
I don’t think the Vampire Duchess on Snowfall Island will just sit around doing nothing waiting for us to cause trouble."
The undead in the cabin all nodded.
"By the way, Qiuqiu, have two Female Priest Corps accompany those won." ’Snow Cloud Peak’ smiled slightly, "Make sure they are never left alone while on the ship. Even if they have so romantic flutter in their hearts, let them save it for when they’re off the ship.
I don’t want any traces of passion left on our ship, nor do I want our charges to have accidents before the battle even begins, losing one or two.
Even though I don’t care about their lives, I care about my reputation and my ship."
A female priest with a black fishtail gown and red hair like a waterfall laughed, "I got it, mission guaranteed complete."
"Susu, you go, take so observant and ticulous people with you, and watch over these newly arrived Moonshadow People.
If anyone is observing their vulnerabilities and trying to exploit them, make sure to point it out and inform the Knight Corps to investigate directly."
"Soone really sent as a spy wouldn’t be so obvious, right?" ’Mobi Chenxin’ scratched his hair above his temple and asked vaguely.
"A spy wouldn’t easily make a move." ’Snow Cloud Peak’ explained calmly, "But those solo petty thieves who sneaked on board, they might act impulsively.
Especially since I noticed so people are dressed in a way that’s obviously from Anmur.
These are ones who haven’t experienced our wrath and don’t know what they’ll do.
Before tomorrow’s sun rises, I still hope for a peaceful night so I can think through how to fight this battle at Snowfall Island... and draw the Anmur Navy into it."
