Now reading: Chapter 138 - 138 8 Heading Towards the Abyss from Surviving The Fourth Calamity, a Game novel by Naxilia.

138: Chapter 8 Heading Towards the Abyss 138: Chapter 8 Heading Towards the Abyss The Water Elental Lord received the Divine Arts he wanted and no longer cared, happily leaving Hill who dared not eavesdrop on his gossip.

The Abyss and the Elental Realm have always been at odds, and the Water Elental Lord certainly didn’t want to co down and let the Undead Tribe take all the heads.

Hill silently concentrated and reminded himself in his heart not to be too curious, as he was not yet Legendary.

Ti flew by, and in a little while, most of the players had already gathered.

Perhaps because most of them had already jumped down, they began to rebuild the ice cap above their heads.

Hill communicated with the Beech and was gently sent to a large tree with the best view, settling into a small space ford by the topmost branches.

Suddenly, Snow Cloud Peak ca sneaking over, “Mr.

Hill, where are you?

Can you make it so others can’t hear us?”

Seeing Hill looking around cautiously, he used a branch to scoop him up to a nearby tree and released an Isolation Array before asking, “What’s the matter?”

“Mr.

Adrian once sold ice explosion bombs in his territory, do you have any here?”

Hill knew about this item, which Adrian had developed after learning elental decomposition from Hill, reusing the waste from various Elental Crystals.

Once detonated, the bomb would create an extrely cold environnt of about 1000 square ters, which Water Mages could use to their advantage.

However, the practicability of these bombs was actually quite limited; which Mage dares use another’s Elent bomb?

They might be blown sky-high before creating any advantageous environnt.

Both Adrian and Fran didn’t favor using Water Magic, so after familiarizing himself with water crystals, Adrian never made them again.

Hill asked curiously, “Uncle Adrian said soone bought up all those bombs.

Was it you?”

“Yeah, the elental bombs Mr.

Adrian made were only sold for that one month, and we bought them all.

We guarded them for over a month!

They were sold out as soon as they were listed, many people didn’t even know they were available for sale.

Mr.

Hill, you can make them, too, right?”

“I can, I actually have so.” Hill touched his ring, “Knowing we might face Demons, I brought them along.” Adrian had given Hill the recipes for both water and earth bombs.

“Can you sell them to us?”

“For dealing with Demons, there’s no need to pay.” Hill took out a large box made of compressed Water Crystal Stone Powder and floated it towards Snow Cloud Peak, “Only this much, can’t make more in ti.”

“That’s enough, enough.

We didn’t think we could penetrate very far anyway.

Thank you, Mr.

Hill!” Snow Cloud Peak gleefully secured the box and quietly jumped down from the tree and ran off.

Hill was puzzled: Penetrate how far?

Are you planning to enter the Abyss?

Unable to help himself, Hill looked up at the sky; even though he could only see it through the ice cap, he really wanted to know what the God of Ti and Space was feeling right now, wondering if His Divine Power could reach into the Abyss?

This piqued his interest.

He contacted the Earth Elent Lord, “Korenden, where are you?”

“Almost at the Abyssal Gate!” Korenden’s voice was loud as ever, “It stinks!”

“Where is our entrance here?”

“100 ters past that river.

They let open a straight small entrance.” Korenden chuckled, “These Undead are really clever!

I’ll use this trick in the future!

I can manage a small one without water help.

As long as the walls are narrow and sturdy, the force of the water is truly imnse!

I’ll show this to that old Fire guy next ti.”

The Water Elental Lord asked solemnly, “Is there water under that place for the Fire Elent?

If you give him a lava bath, it wouldn’t be too bad.”

“Isn’t it ti for the eting?” said Korenden, “I can find a good place to hold it.”

“You haven’t started the eting yet?” Hill almost couldn’t control himself from asking.

It had been over a year, right?

“Ah, the notice has been sent to each tribe, they need to decide whether to co or not,” Korenden explained, “Once they all decide to co, we’ll figure out where to hold it.”

That’s how a millennia-long eting starts!

Hill sincerely exclaid: So contacting the leader from my territory was to ask if he wants to have a eting?

He decided not to get too involved with these long-lived, ticulously detailed Elents discussing etings.

In his territory’s three small clans, Hill would go into seclusion to avoid being dragged to these etings: combined, listening to that much pointless chatter, staying awake was a challenge t only with the help of ice needles pricking his legs.

“Ah!

Let see, it should be right below the Abyssal Gate.

A slight shift doesn’t matter, best if it’s a sprint to get in,” murmured the Earth Elent Lord, then telling Hill, “Tell them I’m heading up now, nearly at the entrance.

It’s very stinky!”

“Alright,” Hill cheerfully responded: he too wanted to know what the players planned for entering the tunnels.

He stood up, looking around, the players were regrouping in formation.

Look what he saw?

Snow Cloud Peak standing on an open-topped wagon.

He was using it for a command vehicle!

Hill thought it was a useless buy, having once wondered why players would want to purchase it.

The person who bought it must have figured out a use for it from day one.
