"Ah... how co there are always so many mangy stray dogs every ti?" The Devil Lord in black-and-red robes lifted his head and sneered.

The long jet-black cloak behind him billowed in the windless air, like the wings he had long since abandoned silently issuing a threat.

Hill, who hadn’t been in a great mood to begin with, suddenly burst out laughing... Asmodeus still habitually chose to curse everyone in one sweep.

This guy was always the kind whose tongue was razor sharp; sweet talk sounded nice enough, but when he mixed sarcasm and barbs in, he was even more lethal.

Anyone choosing to take part in this war—setting aside those Greek Deities who were bound to make a move sooner or later, and those two who were just hiding on the sidelines but were very likely to join in... Eosca, Set, they could all be sumd up in those four words.

As for the Deities who were only watching from the side, they didn’t have that feeling of being mocked to their faces, including Ambori who was far out at sea.

As for Aesces, his own house had already been turned into a battlefield; even if those four words were slapped right in his face, he couldn’t deny them.

Although this guy’s character was absolute trash and you basically couldn’t deal with him at all, that mouth of his really was sothing!

What Hill hadn’t expected was that the main target of the mockery, Poseidon, actually didn’t react to it at all.

He just laughed loudly and shouted, "I don’t care about dogs or whatever! Cronos can only belong to !"

Asmodeus was stunned for a mont.

For the first ti, he experienced what it ant to have your words totally not understood.

Hill suddenly collapsed onto the table, slapping it hard a few tis as he laughed like a madman.

The giant screen next to him erupted in wild laughter almost simultaneously... including from the Black and White Path army marching over from Red Willow Oasis and steadily closing in on this little oasis.

A lot of people fell right off their adorable mounts... after all, most of their mounts were Magical Beasts who could understand human speech; people and beasts all toppling over together was a recipe for disaster.

Aesces silently appeared again. "You were right."

"What?" Hill pushed himself off the table in a daze.

"The mont Poseidon opened his mouth, Triton started dropping this world’s ocean authorities... He seems to only plan on keeping the two Divinities of Deep Sea and marine creatures, which are almost impossible to split up, and is preparing to throw away the rest.

I think he intends to run.

Ah... I always thought he didn’t have anything resembling self-respect!

So it turns out, all it takes is a Poseidon...

Truly, unbelievable."

Hill couldn’t help tugging at his earlobe to make sure he’d heard correctly, then he suddenly turned to Aesces. "Hurry up and grab as much as you can for yourself while you still can!

Poseidon may react slowly, but he’s terrified of dying and can’t bear to part with even a sliver of power.

If he realizes he can’t beat Asmodeus, he’ll definitely choose to run... He’s always followed the creed of ’never leave empty-handed.’ Triton abandoned his Divinity not because he’s afraid of losing face, but because he knows exactly what kind of shaless creature his dear father is.

Instead of fighting that shaless bastard, he’d rather use all his power to protect his main Divinities, then when it’s all over, find a world Poseidon can’t reach and hide there.

Anyway, with Scaret around, your influence won’t be able to completely twist this world’s faith.

So move it!"

Aesces understood, but he still didn’t quite get it. "With just Poseidon, how many rounds can he last against Asmodeus?"

"You think Rose is stupid?" Hill said mockingly. "Don’t be fooled by how Rose always gauges the wind and never clashes head-on, but as long as it’s sothing she wants, she’ll dare to butt heads with anyone.

Right now it’s the Lord of Hell, not the Abyssal Will. What is there she wouldn’t dare do?

If she can so much as touch a single finger of Asmodeus, she’ll be richly rewarded when she returns to the Bottomless Abyss!"

Just as Hill said, once Rose realized Poseidon was all bark and no bite, she quickly flung her spider webs right toward Asmodeus.

This wave of attacks was even fiercer and more violent than before.

At the sa ti, Rose also turned and shouted toward that palace, "Gaia, if you don’t want to die together with your son, then get out here, now!

Or did you really think we’d fight to the death for you?"

Truly worthy of the Spider Queen—she naturally shoved Poseidon into the sa Faction as herself... even if she looked down on him, he was still good enough to be used as a human shield.

After all, Poseidon was putting on way too brave a show; he had already surged forth in all his glory and vigor from that Trident, charging straight at Asmodeus with an expression that said he’d never turn back.

Even the Lord of Hell was startled by him.

He had never actually crossed blades with this guy, only heard a bit of his past story... so he cautiously waved his Ruby Wand and added a layer of black-and-red Hellfire around himself.

Of course, this Fire also served to block those strands of web that were gradually closing in on him.

Even though he didn’t think much of the Attack Power of those webs... and the poison on them was completely useless against him... Asmodeus never gambled on luck.

He was the one who understood Order the best; he just preferred to toy with Order.

Hill even sensed that once he felt the Hellfire, Asmodeus nimbly overlaid it with a layer of Energy Absorption Technique.

Only then did Asmodeus tentatively cast an Eighth Ring Fla Storm at Poseidon.

Hill couldn’t help but watch seriously... using a Spell that the opponent counters to probe their reaction speed and Spell purity—that kind of technique was sothing he had never been great at.

With his personality, he’d definitely just go straight for a Spell that countered the opponent.

But that really was easy to overdo.

If you rely solely on brute-force suppression, there will always co a day when it fails you.

However, Hill’s personality also wouldn’t let him choose to face hardship head-on... isn’t staying alive a good thing?

It’s not like he’s been driven onto the Liangshan path of no return.

For him to go all out now, it’d have to be against sothing of what Level of combat strength!

There really hadn’t been any overly cruel struggles in his life. Even though he died young in his last life, it was a clean death; the pain wasn’t even as intense as the Universe’s Gangfeng that once scraped across his body. That also led to his sowhat slow rate of emotional maturity.

In so ways, he was actually a bit like those Divine Children who were born as Demigods. Only, compared to their naïve reliance on pure instinct in battle, Hill relied on a powerful learning ability to make himself not so easily countered.

But the reason Hill’s life had gone so smoothly, aside from luck always being by his side, was even more due to that overly carefree, unconcerned personality of his... Other than those few years planting trees at the edge of the earth, there had really been very few things he wanted so badly he’d be willing to die for them.

So it was genuinely difficult for him to force himself to risk his life "for the sake of better growth."

Which was why, being able to see the combat mindset of a true tactical master like this was indeed very helpful for Hill.

Though Asmodeus didn’t know soone was seriously studying his fighting style, he was very aware of how many eyes in Heaven and Earth were fixed on him.

And with the Lord of Hell’s usual insidious and cunning temperant, he didn’t much like having others see through his way of fighting.

So he quickly summoned a Blade Barrier to surround himself, blocking the outside view.

Then he directly summoned the most agile Hell Cats... gigantic black cats wreathed in black flas. Their sharp claws didn’t allow a single strand of web to even get close to the Hellfire burning around Asmodeus.

Rose, just as she herself had said, rely blocked the Lord of Hell’s path toward that baby who had already stopped crying and was clearly starting to grow up.

It seed she’d decided that even if she failed, she must not allow Asmodeus to succeed right under her nose.

Hill figured she had confird that the Abyssal Will had also turned its attention here... which made sense: after all, the Lord of Hell’s presence was stronger than anything—for the Abyssal Will, at least.

Don’t be fooled by the fact that they might cooperate in the future; if there was a chance to swallow this Lord of Hell, the Abyssal Will would absolutely rather give up the big cake that is Heavenly Mountain.

Asmodeus, likewise aligned with evil and Darkness, was, to it, the ultimate delicacy.

Hill looked at the still-streaming giant screen and couldn’t help but shake his head and chuckle twice.

The things Aesces had prepared in advance were really pulling their weight this ti... the Lord of Hell had never considered that sothing like this might exist.

Then Hill saw that butterfly from the Undead Tribe in the feed.

It seed that only its vision remained, along with a will that wouldn’t leave until it finished eating that cactus. The Night Butterfly’s eyes seed to glow with so sort of light.

He couldn’t help but blink, then blink again, and suddenly realized why Zhu ili liked using this kind of magic insect.

This thing really doesn’t have much in the way of sensory nerves!

In that Oasis, even the ants had moved house; only this Night Butterfly was still tirelessly gnawing on the cactus. It was just that the fifteen-thousand-plus tiny eyes that made up its two big eyes were constantly looking in all directions.

Hill had no idea how Zhu ili managed to analyze the intel he wanted from all those eyes that could look at different scenes simultaneously, but one thing he could be sure of was that anyone who could climb to the top among tens of millions of the Undead Tribe was no small fry.

He sighed softly. Although these Undead Tribe folks always said they’d watched Hill grow up, in reality, Hill was probably the older one.

Unfortunately, it felt like all his years had gone to the dogs.

Sigh~

At this mont, another massive wave of sound erupted on the giant screen.

Hill looked up and saw that Poseidon was actually hefting his Trident, using the white webs that had gathered up a colossal Wave as support, and ramming straight into Asmodeus.
