Now reading: Chapter 178 - 178 25 Bex's Letter from Surviving The Fourth Calamity, a Game novel by Naxilia.

178: Chapter 25 Bex’s Letter 178: Chapter 25 Bex’s Letter Hill took a sip of the tea Marsha had brought him.

“What’s Hill drinking?” Adrian, who had stood up, plunked himself back down.

Hill had no choice but to instruct Marsha to pour him a cup as well.

It was a type of magical plant’s leaves, very similar to the tea leaves from Hill’s world.

It also had a bit of an effect on clearing the mind and enhancing mory, but apart from the taste, there wasn’t much else that was remarkable.

After Hill discovered these leaves, List promptly found the thod for making black tea in the Core.

Green tea was fine, but Hill didn’t like it, he just couldn’t stand the bitterness, a spoiled generation, only liking to drink milk tea.

Hill had always unabashedly abandoned green tea: I do the heavy lifting, I carry buckets, I am covered in dirt, but I just don’t want to suffer, not even a little bit.

Even when drinking coffee it had to be with sugar and lots of milk.

Anyway, this black tea, combined with the very precious milk from the cows in his estate, was really delicious.

Adrian, after drinking a cup, lit up, “You secretive fellow.

Just watching drink that awful tasting sagebrush mint tea.”

“The effects are quite different,” Hill replied helplessly, “This tastes good, but it really isn’t as refreshing as mint, nor can it help with improving mory.”

Adrian laughed and slapped Hill’s head, “We’re both magisters now, we don’t need to fuss over such minor effects, rember to get so.”

“Don’t forget to bring so to master,” Adrian said at the door, “Master doesn’t really like the taste of mint tea either.

Just grew up drinking it.”

Hill nodded, “I’ll have Marsha deliver it.”

With Adrian gone, looking at Marsha who stood smiling, waiting for his instructions, Hill slowly said: “Tell List to send half of the tea bags to my grandfather’s place.

Then, from the other half, divide half for Uncle Adrian.

When you brew the tea, let Grandfather try various combinations to see which he prefers.”

Watching Marsha disappear, Hill stood up, went out the back door, and flew straight back to the Magic Tower.

No idea where all these people co from, Fran wasn’t so cold and guarded at first, even once ntioned introducing him to so people at a party.

Yet another letdown.

William deserved not being able to return to the Capital, all those troubles caused by his hurried attempts at unification.

Fran needed Hill to show an attitude of indifference, and of course Hill complied, Hill even planned to instruct List to raise the defensive power of his domain to the maximum, not only the Undead Tribe should be restricted.

Is it not very normal for a Nature System Magician to ask for the inhabitants of his domain not to have an evil inclination?

But it was just another day of spending money, and Hill didn’t care, Hill was a rich man who had mined his own vein.

Hill dived straight into the refining of amulets, he missed Mr.

Bex the sea turtle, after all, he had plenty of shells, Hill was willing to exchange a lot for them.

Bex missed this human he had encountered as well.

The octopus ignored his advice, determined to topple the human city by the sea, wanting to eat those tasty Undead.

Didn’t manage to get a bite, and after a lot of effort, simply smashed so docks and warehouses.

And lost his own life in the process.

As sea monsters, they watched from afar as humans turned the octopus into various dishes, feeling a bit afraid indeed.

Bex liked cooler seawater, and didn’t fancy the Deep Sea, where there was none of his favorite seaweed and mussels.

He paddled his flippers, swimming slowly, trying to think of a way to find Hill.

That kid Hill, strong and kind-hearted, with such a rich natural aura, surely wouldn’t deceive a turtle.

Then, he saw several humans surrounded by sharks.

They were emitting a strange scent that attracted magical beasts, but were the completely inedible Undead Tribe!

Bex charged over forcefully, chasing away those foolish sharks.

The fact that the Undead couldn’t be eaten should have spread throughout this sea area by now, why bother biting them?

He looked down thoughtfully at these few Undead, their nas on the tops of their heads?

Bex struggled to read, “Hmm…

Set Sail, Sail?

And Sad North Ocean?” Those two he didn’t bother with, they were a ss, making fun of a turtle’s poor eyesight, right?

He cleared his throat, not noticing that the Undead had nearly leapt into the sea in fright.

“You are from the Undead Tribe, right?

Hill said you would take on missions?”

He turned his head to see the several Undead rubbing against and nudging each other, and looked down again carefully: Do the Undead also like to cuddle and communicate like dolphins?

Set Sail for Adventure, clueless of the peculiar thoughts going through this sea turtle’s mind, quickly put on a broad smile, “Mr.

Turtle, the Hill you ntioned, is it Magister Hill?”

“Yes, he went to other countries for fun a while ago and t , a very friendly and lovely child,” Bex replied.

“Whatever it is, feel free to speak!

Mr.

Hill, we all recognize him!” Sad North Ocean chid in.

“Just send this to Hill,” Bex said, regurgitating a box and tossing it onto the ship.

Lucky he had kept Hill’s scent, so there’s no worry about soone opening the box on the way.

Bex sighed softly, hoping these Undead would not throw the box away, though it wasn’t very precious, he simply wanted to strike up a conversation with these Undead.

He didn’t plan to engage deeply with the Undead, just needed a heads-up in case of danger, like the Undead Tribe coming to kill him for his Demon Core or sothing, just to warn him.

Bex left with a worried heart, he certainly wouldn’t remain where the Undead knew of his location, indeed a dangerous tribe.
