With Hill’s calculative abilities, it took him a full nine days to find his position among the vast stars.
Perhaps the desire to return ho was too intense, so he almost traversed the path made by the Undead Tribe with multiple Light Gates in one go.
Unfortunately, although he was on the sa plane as Alice’s world, Hill would have to cross over a dozen different-sized worlds to reach her. Even with Purwell’s fastest flight speed, it would take three years.
After so thought, Hill simply gave up.
Alice is living well now; that world fits her ever-changing mood perfectly.
The little kitty is only stable when facing Hill; even in human form, she still carries the traits of that capricious white cat.
Hill doesn’t plan to visit Alice before she officially ascends to divinity... even if in that chaotic world, such ascension ans she’ll never return to him.
But it’s better than the past when the little kitty only hoped to depend on others to live.
Alice has indeed learned so lessons.
She finally understands that even if Hill will forever welco her with open arms, during her leap towards him, she might be intercepted.
It’s a distance that seems short but could be impossible to return from.
And rkel, no matter how much he loves her, because of the presence of the Chief Orc God, makes it impossible for Alice to fully trust him.
What if sothing unexpected happens to that world?
In the instant of collapse, would rkel be controlled?
Alice can’t be sure, and neither can rkel.
This is why, even after finding so emotions again in that world, they still cannot nd what was broken.
rkel is still serving as his Magical Beast.
However, since Teraxil’s Magical Beasts learned about rkel from the Undead Tribe, in recent years, they’ve undergone considerable change.
Upon reaching adulthood, they choose their destinies, dividing completely into two factions, never interacting, even with their parents or siblings on the opposite side.
It might be a talent exclusive to Magical Beasts, not swayed by emotions in their decisions.
Humans find this difficult; they remain entangled despite separation.
Hill gazes at that indistinct pathway amidst the endless stars... minuscule diamonds, serene and cold, gently spiraling, carving a path through the densely packed stars.
Though this is rely a mirage in Hill’s eyes.
He sighs softly, turning towards the road leading to Teraxil, quietly closing his eyes, charting a path within his mind.
Then he abruptly opens his eyes, "Purwell, head in this direction."
The black Little Whale arcs through the air, decisively moving forward.
Perhaps it’s because the worlds here, even the oldest, are rely hundreds of thousands of years old, the starry sky isn’t as dense or bright as on Toril’s side.
In the Fantasy World, this demonstrates nothing but the lack of claid Divine Positions, perhaps only Primordial Deities have erged.
Hill isn’t surprised; Teraxil accelerated due to unforeseen events.
In normal worlds, this pace is typical.
Even on Toril, weren’t there but a few Primordial Deities in those hundreds of thousands of years?
Thinking about it, Teraxil indeed suffered greatly.
In the Multiverse, stumbling upon a surprise attack from the Demon Prince on a newborn Star Spirit’s world... what are the odds for Teraxil to encounter such...
Hill suspects all of Teraxil’s misfortune was exhausted during that ti.
So the path ahead is sowhat smoother as long as they don’t err in their choices.
Just like Hill’s luck... it even carries over to other worlds, rather unbelievable.
Sotis Hill wonders if he borrows Teraxil’s own fate... he understands and fully accepts his identity now.
It might be the allure of the stars, their light fondly whispering the universe’s secrets to Hill, thus he becos absorbed in mories along the seemingly endless journey.
Until Purwell’s surprised shout abruptly rouses him from tranquil reverie.
Ignoring his possible slight advancent in power, Hill quickly stands... Purwell wouldn’t interrupt him unless it’s of utmost importance.
Hill widens his eyes in bewildernt.
Before him, on the star road towards Teraxil, all worlds have turned black.
Hill knows well, the path from Teraxil isn’t easy.
Fran once ntioned.
Though Fran’s path may differ from Hill’s current one, he also warned of less safety beyond Teraxil.
It could be due to the new world, with Demon Prince Dimogogan and the gray dwarves attracted, always drawing certain dark glimpses.
Hill prepared for Teraxil’s less secure surroundings but never imagined what lay before his eyes.
Worlds devoid of light.
A newborn world possesses its own Barrier!
Like Teraxil once did, despite severe damage, even an incomplete world could restrain threatening evil forces.
But what’s this?
If they’ve beco like this, why haven’t these worlds fallen into the Bottomless Abyss?
If conjured by the Abyss’ Demon Lord, they’d relish the chance to please Abyssal Will.
Hence, it must be the nine layers of hell!
Who?
Could it be Asmodeus?
Hill clenches his fists; these worlds are dreadfully close to Teraxil!
Too close, Hill’s scalp tingles.
He can’t help but slap himself.
"Sir?" List suddenly appears beside him.
"Earlier, I wondered if all the misfortune had been exhausted initially, hence Teraxil’s subsequent smoothness, and my good fortune," Hill states calmly. "But seeing this now, without enough luck, Teraxil would’ve perished long ago."
"Should we enter?" List glances at the starry sky ahead, imdiately expressing concern, "But it’s too dangerous, sir."
Especially, such worlds won’t allow Hill to bring the Undead Tribe.
Hill can only rely on himself to confront this.
In such evil worlds, Hill is a bright beacon in the Darkness, visible to all regardless of distance.
It truly is perilous!
This is unlike Hill’s previous adventure where he accompanied the Earth Bear at the world’s extremity planting trees... though dangerous, Hill knew his survival chances were high.
Dangerous, but not lethal.
This ti it’s different.
This ti, a single misstep and death is imdiate!
To turn all surrounding worlds black like this, isn’t it like falling into Asmodeus’ lair?
Grasping his chest-length hair gently with his right hand, Hill speaks slowly, "List~ I’ve never felt such a crisis where one misstep could lead to death."
This ti, it seems, I’ll experience it."
"Sir!"
"I am Hill of Teraxil!"
