It’s no secret that mages sotis die in situations like this at the Sia Tower; otherwise, by their power, why would they need fresh blood from outside!
The mages they cultivate are enough.
However, Nanali wasn’t too miserable; she at least beca an official mage and was recognized by the Nicholson Faction, gaining a position in the Inner Tower.
But, how to put it... there are always so foolish ones who think Nanali would compromise once, and then a second, and a third ti.
Too bad, they never thought that a life-saving straw and roadside weeds are not the sa, right!
For Nanali, that period was quite tough.

Thus, Rolando had the chance to marry her: As long as it makes Nicholson look bad, Archmage Karmante is very willing to acknowledge Rolando as his disciple and grandson and supports him.
Of course, it doesn’t an marrying him, Nanali would opt for a normal married life; just having two children for him, both with Mage Aptitude, has already satisfied Rolando.
Therefore, even knowing Nanali harbors many things in her heart, with persistent hostility toward Archmage Ruth and consistently sarcastic towards Nicholson, Rolando said nothing, even as Nanali frequently closed off in her place, neglecting the two children, he shouldered the family responsibilities.
