185: Chapter 28 The Arrival of the Sea Monster Demigod 185: Chapter 28 The Arrival of the Sea Monster Demigod Hill had segnted his ti very well, waking up in the morning, he first went to work on the spatial pendant.

Then, by the afternoon, he spent a few hours refining in the Alchemy Hut, taking great care due to the superior quality of the materials.

As dusk fell, he would start entering the Quiet Room for ditation, tracing the Wind Runes.

He had completely forgotten the tempests of the outside world, imrsed in the realm of magic.

Fran, on the other hand, wasn’t so relaxed; he felt a bit like cursing soone.

Looking at the unceasing torrent of words from the Archmage in front of him, Fran could only think, thank goodness Hill had had the sense to let List notify him about Edgar’s matter.

This Archmage from Cortez had arrived early in the morning and imdiately began communicating with Fran in a sneaky manner; even after Adrian had tried communicating with him several tis, it was to no avail.

Seeing his deanor of grave importance, Fran eventually carved out ti to see him.

Now he truly regretted it.

He directly instructed Marsha to bring Adrian in, “Please direct this gentleman to Edward Camp, ah no, it should be his son Ramsden’s camp by now.

The Countess should still be alive, right?

Her son is in Cortez, and she needs to go and pick him up!”

The Archmage initially stood up angrily, wanting to accuse Fran of overstepping Hill’s authority by making such a decision.

Then, he suddenly shut his mouth; Fran ntioned the Countess?

Not the Earl?

Indeed, he had been sent by those of the Cortez Royal Bloodline who ca before, to seek out Hill; their goal was also very clear, to make the one who dood the Cortez Royal Family pay so price.

If Hill ignored Edgar and let them seek out the Earl, then a Nature Warlock of a Kind Alignnt, who didn’t even care for his own naive little brother, would soon see his Faction shift before his eyes!

By then, nature would certainly abandon him.

If he cared, they had compiled a long list of supplies.

But everyone who mingled with the mages, more or less, had so connection with the Nobles.

At the very least, he could understand so of the implied anings among the Nobility.

In this world, it was common to see Noble couples leading separate lives, with the female party often having illegitimate children.

However, such offspring typically don’t bear the father’s surna; after all, Nobles hold Professions, and lineage should not be confused.

The responsibility for these illegitimate children lies with their blood relatives.

To pass off a child as the husband’s bloodline would almost be the greatest insult to that Noble.

Especially thinking about Edgar’s deep gold hair that was almost brown, he suspected that this child’s paternal line might not even be of traditional Nobility.

He bowed slightly, expressing his apology for not being aware of the true situation and walked out as if in a trance.

Adrian walked in with a smug grin: “Hill has dodged it, hasn’t faced this embarrassnt head-on.”

“He’s a Polanio, what’s there to be embarrassed about,” Fran said, leaning back in his chair.

“So busy, yet he still has to deal with that fool Perast.”

“List’s ssage from Manton suggests that the Undead Tribe taking jobs there reported that Perast hasn’t shown up anymore.

He’s been urging Manton to leave with him imdiately and even produced an Earl’s fief charter for Manton.

Manton is extrely angry.

If the Earl had produced this earlier, he would have followed the Kral Clan.

The Earl kept it hidden; surely he intended it for Edgar.”

“Perast doesn’t have the heart to care; he just doesn’t want to stay with the Kral Family,” Fran remarked disdainfully.

“In front of Manton, he still holds the stature of a Grand Knight and can stand in for his father.

But at the Kral Clan, who hate him to death, wouldn’t he be worn to a nub?”

“Manton has also asked the Undead Tribe to help him find the location of the Kral Clan,” Adrian said with a laugh.

“He doesn’t care where the Earl’s dignity is put.

Perast, after playing this ga for so long, has ended up losing a son.”

“The bloodline hasn’t ended,” Fran said slowly, holding a pen.

“He’s not too miserable.”

“Those mages have been looking for several days now and haven’t made any progress,” Adrian changed the subject.

“I wonder how it’s going with His Majesty the King.”

“That’s because they don’t understand Divine Script,” Fran said, touching Hill’s translation and the copied Divine Script by his hand.

“Teacher’s implication is?” Adrian was extrely surprised.

“Those Temples, the reason they’re not in a hurry, they must have known already,” Fran said with a cold laugh.

“It’s practically another form of Divine Script.

Only the text carries a sort of malice, and looking at it too much disrupts one’s nature.”

“Then we don’t have to bother with it, right?” Adrian caught on.

“His Majesty the King probably understands it all,” Fran said with a bitter smile.

“We’ll wait until he feels like saying sothing!”

“Then I’ll need to take a good look at Hill’s translation,” Adrian said, frowning.

“Divine Script is really tough to understand, and I didn’t want to learn it.”

“Insufficient spiritual power to penetrate the ntal Sea,” Fran concluded.

“You feel it’s tough because your ntal Sea isn’t stable enough.

Settle down more during this ti.”

“Ah, at this mont I really envy the Magicians!” Adrian collapsed onto the couch and wailed.

“If Hill were a Mage, would you still be worried about finding an apprentice?” Fran landed a heavy blow.

“Teacher, why must you strike so?” Adrian sat up and said, “For you it doesn’t matter, even if you beco a legend, you may not outlive Hill.”

Fran looked at his wayward disciple and impatiently shooed him out the door: “Without an apprentice, go do the work yourself!”
