273: Chapter 76 Why is it Hill again?

273: Chapter 76 Why is it Hill again?

This is clearly a dwelling prepared by the Lake Goddess for herself, not a temple for worship.

Therefore, the architectural style is actually very simple and brisk.

The front hall is probably ant to welco guests from the water.

In the rectangular temple, supported by tall pillars, the space is largely empty.

Hill didn’t see anything noteworthy, but the spiral pearls in the pendant had reacted.

Hill took it out and held the Exquisite Sphere in his hand.

Feeling the spiral pearl’s eagerness, he sighed softly again.

It seed he definitely had to go to the inner sanctuary!

Knowing full well the mountain harbored tigers, he still made his way toward Tiger Mountain.

Hill really hadn’t expected that one day he would do sothing like this, he who was so averse to trouble!

He walked slowly, hoping that the powerful guardian would soon co to a clear conclusion on how to treat him.

The Lake Goddess was indeed very forthright; there were no doors to open in her temple.

Partitions were simply transparent curtains, allowing anyone to walk straight through to the end.

Hill looked at the huge shell bed in the inner sanctuary and felt a bit uneasy.

Why did the spiral pearl want the Goddess’s bed?

He looked towards the long corridor behind the bed and tossed the spiral pearl into the shell.

Although he didn’t know why, Hill still felt it was inappropriate to disturb the bed.

So he just threw it in, and now Hill felt that the relationship between the spiral pearl and the water of the lake might not be as simple as that of a Water Deity.

“What are you doing?” The powerful Magical Beast from the corridor could no longer hide and charged out fiercely.

“Good day, Mr.

Wolf God!” Hill greeted the tall White Wolf with a Mage’s Ceremony, smiling.

It was truly unexpected.

More than ten thousand tumultuous years had passed on the continent due to the beast tide, yet here was hidden a Demigod White Wolf!

“What did you just throw?” The White Wolf Demigod stopped halfway through his charge, slowly walked over, and planted himself steadily in front of Hill.

“A Water God that never ca to be.

But it seems to have co back to life recently.” Hill smiled in response.

“Where’s that bitch of a Spring?

Didn’t notice?”

“She has completely fallen recently.

Her Divine Soul has vanished.

The Starry Sky vibrated intensely; didn’t you see it?”

“You can’t see the outside sky from here,” the Wolf God said sowhat sullenly.

“The Spring is dead?

What about the others?

The Elves, Dwarves, and the Human Gods, how are they all doing?”

“The Elven Goddess of the Hunt and the Lord of the Moon Elves have perished,” Hill replied.

“The Dwarven God of Forging and his tribe’s Racial God had their Divine Kingdom destroyed, and now they are in the Dwarf Kingdom, unsure how to return to the starry heavens.

The Human Gods of Nobility and Craftsmanship have fell from their Divine Thrones and are still asleep, with no sign of when they will awaken.”

“And the Abyss?” he paused, then continued to ask, “It seems you know about the Lake and the White Wolf God; how did you find out?”

“The Abyss invaded recently and got driven back.

The Gale Wolf Demigod left behind a Stele before he died, revealing the truth.

The God of Ti and Space’s Undead Tribe entered the Abyss and brought back the Stele.

The Pope of the God of Ti and Space, in the presence of All Gods, disclosed the contents of the Stele to the entire continent.

The Lake Goddess fell at that mont.”

“The God of Ti and Space?” he hesitated, “A New God!

That powerful, huh?

Are we Wolves dood again?”

“They have always held onto their hatred for Humans, Dwarves, and Elves, unleashing beast tides from ti to ti.”

“So we’re still dood.” The White Wolf mused, tilting its head.

“So this is what brother ant, the ti I could reerge?

Do I need to go out and stop them from continuing to be enemies with Humans?

But I really don’t want to let off the Humans who hurt and betrayed my brother so easily.

Yet it seems, according to World Will’s judgnt, it’s the Elves and Dwarves that hold greater responsibility!

I think, after I go out, I need to understand properly, what exactly happened.”

This is the White Wolf God’s brother?

So innocent, he must have been a young wolf cub back then?

Yet, deep down, he doesn’t trust Humans, not wanting to hear what Hill has to say about the matter.

“The outside world must be very interesting, even Humans have received Nature’s Blessing,” the White Wolf looked down at Hill and said intriguingly.

Such a clever young cub, with quite the heavy suspicions.

Knowing Hill to be favored by the Natural Consciousness, he wouldn’t be a lying Human, yet still, he didn’t trust Hill’s words.

“Are you planning to go out?” Hill asked slowly.

“But even for a Demigod, the outside world is not necessarily safe.”

“I know that,” the White Wolf said nonchalantly.

“My foolish brother is the precedent, isn’t he?

He was close to being a True God, yet he still t with a brutal death.

After so many years, the world has only beco more dangerous.”

“Where do you intend to go?”

“Find a forest or grassland devoid of people.

First, I’ll gather a wolf pack,” he said.

Hill hesitated, “Humans and Elves might go to war.”

“Isn’t that just perfect?

Anyway, I’ll be living with the wolf pack, staying far from Humans, and I definitely won’t have dealings with Elves.”

Suddenly, Hill rembered what William had said.

He wouldn’t compete with Magical Beasts for territory.

He took a deep breath.

Indeed, the Magical Beasts were supposed to reerge around this ti.

The only difference was who would lead this future Wolf God out.

Just as Hill had the misfortune to encounter Rose’s sudden attack, World Will sent him to lead the way.

Hill had just taken the liberty of invoking the God of Ti and Space, yet felt nothing at all.

Could this place truly shield one from divine perception?

How did he manage to get in here?

“That pearl.”

Hill had long noticed that the Wolf God had been observing the movents around the shell bed.

The White Wolf Demigod spoke haltingly, “It feels like it is related to by blood.

Could this be the child of my brother and the Lake Goddess?”

Hill felt like he was going to suffocate.

So, was he destined to co here sooner or later?

Carrying the Lake Goddess’s child, perhaps even flying mid-air could result in getting hit by a Tornado Storm and being thrown right over here.

“How co I didn’t know they had a child?” the White Wolf continued to mutter, “It seems my brother didn’t know either; if he had known, he would have definitely confined the Lake Goddess, not allowing her to die with him.”

“The Lake Goddess may not have known either,” Hill pondered and then said, “Perhaps she only discovered it right before death, and with all her might, threw the child into the Deep Sea, hoping for a slim chance of survival.”

The White Wolf slowly lay down: “You’re free to move about here.

I don’t know how to thank you, and I don’t really have anything of value myself.

You just go and find sothing!

I’ve kept the important things, but you can take whatever you like.”

Hill looked into the White Wolf’s eyes, which were faintly brimming with moisture, and nodded before leaving the back hall.

He probably missed his brother.

Leaving the White Wolf Demigod to reminisce with the Spiral Pearl, unsure whether it was his niece or nephew, Hill unhesitatingly proceeded down the passage behind him.

Compared to the clean waters, which contained nothing but a large quantity of Water Crystals, the mountains above might have sothing of value.

If there really wasn’t anything worthwhile, he’d co back to pick so crystals.

Hill was determined not to leave empty-handed!

This was compensation for his ntal anguish; perhaps he was just ant to be flung close to Keslow and wouldn’t have passed out at all.

Now mysteriously transported here, he had no idea where he’d end up when he went outside!

Thinking that he would have to find his way ho upon leaving made Hill feel downcast.

Hill walked along the passage, passing by a cave filled with mushrooms that glowed blue.

He looked around and indeed found many treasures, mushrooms that were over a thousand years old.

Such a find would exhilarate Adrian to the point of jumping off the top of the Magic Tower.

Eating them could instantly calm the storm in the ntal Sea, providing a lifeline for many Mages who had failed to level up.

Only Blue Spirit Mushrooms of over a thousand years possessed this effect.

Fran didn’t have any, and though Hill had heard of them, he had never seen them.

However, Adrian really wanted them and often fantasized with Hill using pictures of the mushrooms.

Seeing these mushrooms, Hill forgave the World Will for its presumptuousness.

With these, the risks of Adrian advancing to Legendary status would be halved.

Smiling at the corners of his mouth, Hill knelt down, carefully picking each mushroom and placing it into his most prized material box.

With the material box strapped to his back, Hill walked with a light step down the stone path, in a place untouched by humans or Magical Beasts for over ten thousand years!

How much could the White Wolf Demigod possibly consu?

And the needs of Magical Beasts and people were completely different!

When Hill erged from the stone path, he took a deep breath.

The fragrance of various plants hit him full on the face.

Seeing the myriad of ancient Magical Plants around him, Hill’s spirits lifted and he plunged into the vegetation.

He harvested eagerly from the bright daylight until the moon was high above, only then did he stop his hands.

In the latter part of the night, many Magical Plants could not be harvested as they needed to absorb moonlight; harvesting them would harm their essence.

Hill sat down on the ground, taking out juice and a at sandwich, planning to treat himself.

“What is that?

It slls good,” said the White Wolf, suddenly appearing.

Are all wolf creatures of the speed type?

Hill could feel that just monts ago the wolf was still below, yet in an instant, it has appeared by his side.

After thinking for a mont, he took out an Obsidian stele, cleaned it, and began stacking food from his ring on it, one item at a ti.

“Food from the outside,” Hill said with a smile, “You can try it.

Let know what you like and when we get out, I’ll treat you all you want!”

The White Wolf curiously glanced at the food before each item floated into his mouth.

Or should one say, fitting for a wolf, he eventually settled on grilled suckling pig, roast chicken, and the like, with the sole exception being the at sandwich.

Hill, resigned, took all of the grill-style food out of his ring, and, with a pained heart, parted with half of his at sandwiches.

“You can keep these to enjoy slowly.

I plan to collect so more materials tomorrow.”

“No rush,” the White Wolf said leisurely as he began to collect the food scattered around.

“You can’t leave until three days later.

The little pearl also needs 3 days to finish absorbing.

The timing is perfect; you can do as you please.”

Hill sat helplessly on the ground.

Here, the Natural Consciousness was very active.

Hill thought for a mont, then released a few Wood Elental Spirits from his pendant.

Indeed, they were very happy.
