Now reading: Chapter 393 - 393 192 Deep Love and Affection Choosing Life from Surviving The Fourth Calamity, a Game novel by Naxilia.

393: Chapter 192: Deep Love and Affection, Choosing Life Together 393: Chapter 192: Deep Love and Affection, Choosing Life Together Under Hill’s admiring gaze, Adrian plunked down in front of him, “Now that the castle is completed, I’m pretty much spent.”

At this point, my teacher definitely won’t do anything to .

At most, he might settle scores later, but that’s a problem for another day!

My teacher definitely wouldn’t want to deal personally with the Undead Tribe.

It truly tests one’s rationality, being a Mage ans being rational, not unemotional!

Although the Undead Tribe is quite useful, they’re really troubleso!

Dealing with them even once truly shortens your life by a few years.

His Majesty the King should give Spencer all the resources he needs!

My God!

Just these few days make feel like going insane!

He has been dealing with the Undead Tribe for years!”

Hill placed his chin on the table, lifting his eyes to look at Adrian, “Co on, let’s talk about sothing cheerful to brighten up your day.”

Irritated, Adrian poured himself a glass of wine, “Why is it fruit wine?

Hill, you’re so grown up!

Why are you still drinking fruit wine?

Don’t you have any strong alcohol?”

“This is made from fruits from my valley that others can’t even get a taste of!

Uncle Adrian, don’t pretend to complain when you’re getting a good deal!

I gave you plenty!”

Hill didn’t care about the whole notion that n must drink strong liquor!

Adrian was practically asking for it by expecting Mages to drink strong alcohol.

Adrian’s style, developed in a noble family, had a lot of the grand nobility about it, and his appreciation for the arts was much better than either Fran’s or Hill’s.

But sotis, Hill’s habits as a Mage were better than his.

For a science student, the way to approach sothing completely unknown was to morize it first and then diligently comply with the requirents.

Doing things by the book for over a decade becos a habit.

But Adrian was just mouthing off; being able to drink a few bottles of Mage-exclusive Crystal Mystery was already impressive.

Now, with Forest of the Elves no longer supplying those ingredients, Adrian probably had no stock left.

Hill rummaged through his storage ring.

He rembered that the Mage Association and Sorcerer Tower had included this type of wine in their congratulatory gifts.

He had no use for them, so he brought them out, planning to trade them since many Mages actually liked wine.

Now, he decided to give them to Adrian!

Listening to Adrian grumble while drinking about why he had to play the flying corpse ga, dying wasn’t completely painless, why tornt himself?

Moreover, building materials weren’t actually valuable; their price was due to quantity.

Those Undead sneaking away a bag or two, not only useless, ant he had to recalculate the material needs.

Adrian truly hadn’t expected Professionals to steal these lowest grade materials.

Fortunately, he listened to Spencer initially and arranged for the materials to include 10% more than the maximum needed.

He thought Spencer had advised this because the Undead would ruin things, after all, the stuff wasn’t valuable.

But he never expected that Spencer was actually leaving room for these Undead to steal things.

Adrian rambled on for a while, then finally got to today’s episode, “Spencer showed so materials, I could only recognize so minerals and herbs, but I don’t know what the main material is.

Hill, can you tell?”

Adrian brought out a small box, inside which was a tuft of soil, “Spencer only gave this bit, and it seems he gave a portion to the Noble Church and His Majesty the King also took so.

Take a look, I need to take it to my teacher later.”

Hill’s first thought was Moonlight Grass.

But it wasn’t.

Although there was the scent of Moonlight Grass, it was probably a decoy.

Using his spiritual power, he gently milled the soil, analyzing each particle.

Hill’s mouth twitched slightly, “You should ask those crabs, aren’t you on good terms with them?”

“Are you talking about aquatic plants?” Adrian asked curiously, “But I don’t feel any presence of plants; I thought it was minerals.”

“There are so creatures in the sea that are said to be plants but are actually animals,” Hill said slowly, “but I don’t know which kind, I’ve never seen it.

But if the Undead could get a hold of it, those Mosaics must know what it is.”

“Doesn’t the toxicity of animals vanish after being separated from the body for so ti?” Adrian muttered, but he knew Hill’s assessnts were generally not wrong.

“I see,” he sighed, “I’m not going to ask, it won’t affect anyway.

I’ll leave this to His Majesty the King!

After it’s over, I’ll ask Spencer.”

Hill nodded, it seed there was still business outside, otherwise Adrian wouldn’t be so adamant about not leaving the camp.

Adrian stood up and said with a smile to Hill, “I’m heading back, you should also get out of that fatherly mood, right?

It’s not like she won’t be seen again; she used to be in training all year, and you hardly saw her, right?”

Hill sighed, “I always feel she is still too young!

How is she getting married already?”

“Haven’t you forgotten Alice is much older than you?” Adrian said in astonishnt, “Co on, let it go!

I’m heading back!”

“I don’t need that kind of truth!” Hill said crossly, “Here, take these two boxes of wine, drink them slowly; they will be hard to co by in the future.”

Adrian looked at the unopened wine boxes carefully, “Completely unopened!

Very well preserved, they must be over a century old.

Where did you get them?”

“I got them when I was promoted, gifts from the Mage Association and Sorcerer Tower,” Hill stated blandly, “I don’t need them, Uncle Adrian likes them, so take them all!”

“Then I won’t be shy,” Adrian nodded.

He took a few steps, then turned back, “You do understand why the teacher didn’t receive such things when he was promoted, right?

What’s the deal with the Sorcerer Tower?”

Hill smiled, “What can I say?

I’m young; getting dealt with superficially is normal.

There were two gifts from Sorcerer Tower, one of which was from that Water Legend, filled with many such items.”

Adrian suddenly realized that the Tower Master of the Sorcerer Tower wouldn’t make such an obvious mistake.

Watching Adrian fly directly into Fran’s study, Hill sighed and sat down.

If Alice were just traveling, Hill wouldn’t be so displeased.

Though both involved leaving, this was far more absolute.

Even though Hill kept Alice’s room in his own Magic Tower, she was unlikely to ever return and stay there.

rkel’s future path was going to be extrely difficult.

Alice couldn’t possibly not accompany him.

Hill pondered over his own inventory and began to pile up supplies on the deck that could be used by Magical Beasts.

Although his daughter was undutiful, as an elderly father, he still had to consider her dowry.

Although Alice was a Spirit of Nature and wouldn’t be hard even if she slept in the wilderness,

Hill still felt she was going to suffer.

But there were so things Hill knew he couldn’t provide.

Alice’s belongings had to be shared with rkel.

So Hill could only give her consumables.

He then dug out a Mushroom House he had made himself.

It was all made with the small round shells that the Demigod Sea Beast had used to stuff in a box.

Hill thought it looked like the Mushroom Houses he had seen before, so he took them out and made a few for fun.

Because the materials weren’t great, the enlarged Mushroom House only had a single layer of 100 square ters and a height of only 3 ters.

With sincerity, Hill handed the supplies to Alice, paying no attention to rkel.

Hill gave Alice a small shell, “Inside are Pearls that can condense water.

You must take good care of them.

Once used, put them back inside; they can only regenerate there.

This is your capital for surviving in the wilderness.

Do not lose it.”

Alice owed softly, “Hill, I’ll co back to see you, don’t be like this~”

Hill stroked her head, “Alice, whenever you co back, I will have a door open for you.

But when you’re out, you always need to be fully prepared.

Even as a Spirit of Nature, there are tis you can’t manage everything.”

In Alice’s eyes, waves erged, her beautiful, dreamlike large eyes a bit shaken.

Hill held a very high place in her heart.

This was different from rkel.

A lover is a beloved, but family is life.

rkel sat nervously to the side, his front paws fiercely gripping the turf.

He worried that Alice would choose to give up.

Hill was too good to her.

By Hill’s side, Alice was a carefree Princess.

Following him out, even if rkel was willing to share his powers with her, how could a Spirit of Nature possibly be interested in those?

It would be tireso instead.

Even though tears had already welled up in Alice’s eyes, she still didn’t relent and stay.

The once pampered, lazy, gluttonous, and whiny little white cat had beco just a beautiful mory in Hill’s mind.

After Alice beca Legendary, her mind continued to mature.

She had completely grown up.

She was ready to leave her warm ho and her beloved, to take flight, bearing both sweet and bitter monts together from then on.

All Hill could do was sigh helplessly, watching as Alice slowly packed her beloved belongings.

Even knowing that rkel was carrying the Goddess of the Earth’s mission, Hill still didn’t want to see this happy Leopard.

Though he was extrely reluctant and wished to keep them for a bit longer,

Hill could only watch as Alice, stepping on rkel’s head, slowly drifted away at sunrise.

Hill thought rkel would first summon the Leopards in his valley, but rkel just shook his head, saying he would send out a call that only Magical Beasts that sensed it could find him.

If they didn’t have the ability to hear this call, they were temporarily of no use to him.

What he now needed was the approval of the World Will.

Hill roughly understood that rkel intended to first summon purely Earth System Magical Beasts.

Hill leaned against the ship’s rail, gazing at the fading figure in the distance.

The backup of the Goddess of the Earth had surprisingly ended up in his hands.

So even if he was reluctant, Hill would absolutely not hinder rkel’s actions.

He wholeheartedly hoped that everything would go well for rkel.

Not only because of the Goddess of the Earth, but also because if rkel failed, Alice might not be hard, but she would definitely be heartbroken.

Hill didn’t want the one to return to him to be a lancholy little cat who could no longer smile.
