Now reading: Chapter 624 - 624 422 from Surviving The Fourth Calamity, a Game novel by Naxilia.

624: 422 624: 422 “But the speed at which the Undead Tribe is clearing these minor worlds is too fast.

Initially, the World Tree had judged it would take 50 years to navigate these worlds, but the Undead Tribe was almost ready to give up on our magical world.

William had estimated that the lifespan of their ga was 20 years.”

Now, however, that was absolutely impossible.

List sighed.

These matters were just gossip between him and his friends, not ant to be brought up again if Hill had not taken an interest in Ferun.

However, since Hill had shown interest in Ferun, he felt that this long-buried issue would resurface.

Teraxil could not kill the donkey after finishing using the millstone and had to find a way to continue sending these disasters to other worlds.

Moreover, most of what Hill hoped for fervently tended to co to fruition.

List tried to keep his voice down, feeling that Hill’s anger was not as intense, “I have to go to that oak every day to communicate, see if it needs help, and sotis it would tell so not-so-important matters.

The World Tree giving up on handing the Undead Tribe over to Coron wasn’t just due to its gratitude towards the Gods of Ti and Space; for Teraxil, the Gods of Ti and Space had beco a very important faction.

Compared to other deities, the Gods of Ti and Space were still a bit more trustworthy.

It’s not that other deities would betray, but most of Teraxil’s deities seem prone to losing their sanity, acting impulsively.

That includes the three deities of the sun, moon, and earth as well.”

So, the World Tree decided to let the King of Saral take the Undead Tribe out, hoping that his divine power would grow stronger.

Otherwise, Coron was really wealthy, ready to offer ten tis the price.

The World Tree was actually sowhat tempted.

It thought about giving twenty percent to the Gods of Ti and Space, then split ten percent each between the Sun God and Silvermoon, placing the rest into the earth, which would speed up Teraxil’s next ascension.

But this was too unfair to the Gods of Ti and Space.

They had contributed so much, and it couldn’t just be about resource expenditure.

The existence of the Undead Tribe also depended on them, especially the God of Ti and Space.

As for the King of Saral, the Tree of Teraxil World didn’t particularly care about him; even if he fell, it would only affect the God of Ti and Space, not Teraxil.

Not having beco a deity, just linked with the Law, he wasn’t that important.”

Hill felt a bit dazed, so the World Tree thought that the Undead Tribe could still be sold off in the future?

Did it believe that after traversing these minor worlds and the King of Saral being officially deified, the Gods of Ti and Space might be willing to give up control of the Undead Tribe?

Although the Undead Tribe, controlled by that divine artifact, might derail, but then that would be Ferun’s problem, what does that have to do with Teraxil?

It wouldn’t matter even if Ferun Great Land sank!

The key is to keep these Undead Tribe mbers from all returning to Teraxil; the others, those willing to live a pastoral life in the newbie village, wouldn’t cause any major issues.

Hill’s hand stopped; he felt that William and his companions probably didn’t know about this.

That List would know wasn’t strange to Hill; he had a good relationship with the World Tree’s branch in his territory.

Even if it was a divine artifact’s branch, it was still in the shape of a tree, no different from Treants, confined to growing wherever it sprouted.

Maybe it’s because Oak Spirits are quite lively; this new Oak Spirit liked outside affairs a lot, the Elental Spirits and Treants were tired of all its questions.

Only List, because that oak had agreed to let Cohen nest and sleep within it, would daily share so tales of the outside world, eventually becoming good friends.

For Cohen, a special energy emitted by the World Tree made it easier for him during his advancent of bloodline.

Cohen’s progression differed from other Magical Beasts; as Teraxil’s sole Wind Series Magical Beast, advancing to Legendary almost required a rebirth.

Every bone, every bit of flesh needed reforge.

If other Magical Beasts needed a year or two to sleep for Legendary; Cohen would need at least ten years.

Hill could only be thankful that, although he always wanted to marry and start his own family, Cohen had always failed.

Once advanced to Legendary or even Demigod, Cohen’s offspring could inherit his new bloodline, and not struggle as much as he had.

Since awakening the Wind Elent Laws, Cohen spent most of his ti asleep.

“Actually, it’s not bad.” Hill imagined the result of the Undead Tribe entering Ferun and couldn’t help laughing out loud; not everyone has the chance to see what a ss fantasy crashing into reality could look like.

There would be plenty of fun awaiting his discovery.

Just thinking about the daily life of Dark Elves and those love and torture-thed God Churches, Hill felt that Coron was very likely to suffer a loss.

The world of the Undead Tribe might just seal off Ferun Great Land’s file at any mont.

List watched as Hill finally burst into laughter, and slowly eased his mind.

He truly worried that Hill, in a mont of anger, would abandon the beliefs he had held for many years and the orderly good he had practiced; there was no need to forsake them over this matter.

Otherwise, Hill would co to regret it later.

Hill did not know what the Tower Spirit was thinking, but he had indeed recovered from that sudden surge of anger.

However, he had no intention of changing his estrangent from William.

He still wanted to deal with that indebted couple!

And he certainly did not plan on one day allowing William to plead on their behalf because of their friendship.

This journey had granted him nurous new skills, and upon returning, he would definitely have the God of Nobility and the Goddess of Love bear witness for him!

“Whether the Undead Tribe goes to Ferun or not, I will,” Hill said calmly.

“The legacy of the Great Archmage awaits !

I just hope that before I return to Teraxil, that God of Nobility and his beloved Goddess of Love don’t have it too easy.

I wonder if the Divine Kingdom will collapse; they’re so poor—how will they manage?

Begging for handouts, perhaps?”

List took a sharp breath; ever since Hill realized that his blessings might not always hold, but his curses were exceptionally potent, he was sowhat more careful with his words.

This kind of serial cursing was unprecedented; after all, Hill now had the power to ensure those he did not wish to see would never appear before him again.

List bowed his head slightly as Hill closed the Isolation Array again.

He could probably be a bit relieved; at least Hill would not choose to wage an outright war against the God of Nobility and the Goddess of Love.

Even if those two suffered so retaliation, they should understand the reasons.

As long as they endured, they could move past this incident.

After all, Hill would not harm their lives; at most, he would return the treatnt Alice had received in kind.

With their minds like tangled hair, Hill could easily grab hold of them.

Yet, List still believed in the thick skin of the God of Nobility, much thicker than bear hide indeed.

Hill’s anger had beco clear to him now.

He did not care about the deities targeting the Magical Beasts, as Hill had always taken pride in his human identity.

No matter how good his relationship with the Magical Beasts, it would not change his stance.

He had even thought about what Alice would do if rkel died.

When rkel chose to beco the King of Magical Beasts, Hill had already set aside concerns for his life and death.

But exploiting Alice directly while Hill was away in Teraxil and Agleya was ignorant of these sches, wasn’t this just guarding against Hill?

Did they think that if Hill were around, he would choose to help the Magical Beasts?

No one considered informing Hill, allowing him the opportunity to whisk Alice away in ti.

What if a Magical Beast demigod impulsively killed the fleeing Alice?

Alice was a Spirit of Nature; upon death, her soul would completely dissipate, and even the Netherworld of Teraxil could not recover it.

The soul of a Spirit of Nature only becos truly indissoluble after it achieves godhood, but throughout the hundreds of thousands of years of history in Teraxil, not one Spirit of Nature has ever done so.

Hill could only hope that Alice lived a bit happier.

Then, once everything was decided, and Alice had made her choice, still, no one communicated with Hill, automatically assuming he could understand their actions.

Was this not subjectively excluding Hill from the human faction, while objectively feeling that he would approve of their actions for humanity, even if it hurt his own daughter?

These constantly revolving emotions echoed in Hill’s heart, but he still suppressed them, not turning his rage toward William, who rely remained silent.

Hill did not believe that William had the obligation to inform him what the other deities in Teraxil were doing; likewise, he also removed William from his true friends.

Thus, he also felt no obligation for William to bear his anger and dissatisfaction.

Hill was actually soone who couldn’t control his emotions in front of those close to him; his display of respect and politeness toward William was actually his way of giving up on becoming friends with this future God of Justice and Fairness.

The Hill who had originally chosen to stay at William’s Royal Palace indeed wanted to beco good friends with William.

If it had not been for rkel’s arrival, which sharply catalyzed these emotions, List would not have even noticed how aggrieved he felt.

Yes, Hill’s anger stemd from feeling wronged.

Everyone had their reasons, their stances, their profound righteousness.

What about Hill?

Were his feelings so insignificant?

The Hill who rely wanted a passable explanation had finally given up waiting.

When he chose to exact revenge on the God of Nobility himself, even if his thods seed like pranks, Hill’s heart was gradually distancing from these human deities.

The Hill of the future might still be the kind and gentle Nature Warlock, but he could no longer interact with those deities without barriers.

List sighed, turned, and left to take care of other matters, ignoring Hill’s first statent.
