On a sumr morning, a feeling of pressure on my face woke from sleep.
I slowly opened my eyes, pushed away the foot that had nearly landed on my mouth, and sat up to look helplessly at Momoi, sprawled out on the bed in a star shape, fast asleep.
I have to say, her sleeping posture was terrible, in stark contrast to Midori, who slept peacefully and gracefully on the other side.
I then glanced at Arisu curled up on the sofa and the silent storage locker, confirming everyone else was sleeping soundly. With a sigh, I re-covered Momoi with a blanket and quietly tiptoed out to wash up.
Afterwards, I returned to the Ga Developnt Club's activity room, picked up the controller, and continued playing.
A few days had passed since the Make-Up Work Club passed the third evaluation exam. While the Trinity incident had temporarily settled down, the Ga Developnt Club had entered its final testing phase.
To win at the Millennium Club Competition and prevent the club from being disbanded, the girls had been working tirelessly for nearly a month, so focused that they seed oblivious to everything outside.
It wasn't until yesterday, when they finally completed Myth·Legend·Chronicles 2, that they belatedly learned of the tragedy I experienced at Trinity.
Of course, Arisu and Momoi couldn't help laughing after finishing their questioning, just like the other inford students.
After that, partly to soothe Midori and Yuzu's emotions, I put aside other non-urgent duties and returned to the long-unvisited Ga Developnt Club to help with testing.
And so I ended up spending the night there.
Nothing particularly noteworthy happened; I just imrsed myself in the ga world.
Thanks to extra ti, improved experience, and a genuine desire to make a good ga, even if this pixel-style RPG was considered outdated, the second installnt reached a level where I could honestly say:
It's fun.
Despite minor flaws typical of an untested indie ga, like awkward wordings, slightly off difficulty curves, these didn't stop from giving it a high evaluation.
I played through the night, only sleeping a little an hour or two ago.
Yet despite the short rest, I felt fully awake, completely untroubled by fatigue~
This was the effect of the ability gained from capturing Nagisa's feelings, thus, I can now reduce my required sleep.
In other words, my daily free ti was greatly extended, allowing to handle Schale's duties at night when special incidents were unlikely.
But I once again realized how ruthless Rin could be.
Yes, upon noticing my docunt submission tis had stabilized, she judged my current workload to be easy and imdiately assigned more tasks, preaching "the capable must do more."
Most of the new work, however, was related to recent rumors and gossip.
Perhaps Rin's intent was to let personally handle these matters so the General Student Council, under no public pressure, wouldn't grow resentful?
At least, I hope so.
Or maybe it's Rin's unspoken crush on , disguised as extra "work" so she could sneak in selfies.
Just as I started a new playthrough to find more bugs in a different approach, I felt my phone vibrate.
I pulled it out and smiled warmly.
Nagisa: Good morning.
Nagisa: Today's another beautiful day. I hope you have a great day.
Since we nded fences and deepened our bond a few days ago, Nagisa had been sending morning greetings like this, occasionally chatting casually.
Though her tone remained polite and distant, I knew it was just shyness hiding a passionate heart.
For a busy tea party host, chatting like an ordinary infatuated girl already said a lot.
: Good morning, Princess. You too, huh?
Nagisa: Ah… thank you for the kind words.
: Sothing wrong?
Nagisa: Nothing… still that matter.
Naturally, the matter troubling Nagisa was Mika and Arius.
A few days passed, yet I gleaned little from them. When questioned, Mika was neither proactive nor resistant, she just answered what she knew and admitted ignorance where she didn't.
The issue: "I don't know" made up a shocking majority, providing almost no useful information.
If it had been soone else, they might have been criticized more, how could the instigator of a coup know so little?
But given Mika's political skill, it's hard to judge.
As for Arius's captured students, according to Azusa, they had undergone specialized interrogation training and behaved with resolve.
However, Trinity's current culture didn't allow harsh thods like the old Saint Order.
They had switched to gentle persuasion long ago.
Still, Arius's students, possibly having led hard lives from birth, wavered under flattery but revealed nothing to the tea party.
Thus, a stalemate ensued.
: It's okay. According to Azusa, we captured at least half of Arius's forces.
: In the short term, Arius cannot regroup enough power.
: And there's no better candidate than Mika.
Nagisa: …Yes, you're right.
Nagisa: Ti's almost up, shall we end today's chat here?
I responded with yuppers and continued playing. After finishing the third playthrough, I stretched, feeling satisfied.
I reviewed my notebook, noting all bugs and improvents, checked the room to confirm everyone was still asleep, and placed my notes in a visible spot with sticky notes on the cover.
Then, I packed my things and quietly slipped out of the Ga Developnt Club once again.
