She said calmly, "I did wash up."
Yuan Lang chuckled. "Have you not seen your own face?"
Wu Yue: "..."
’Damn it! So what you’re saying is I should go take a look in a mirror first?’
’Are you mocking for being ugly? Is that it?’
Her expression imdiately crumpled into a pathetic pout. "Maybe I was flying too high and started hallucinating."
’Heh, a black-bellied, sharp-tongued bastard like him? I wouldn’t take him even if he threw himself at for free.’
She snorted coldly and turned away, presenting Yuan Lang with the back of her sowhat frizzy-haired head.
Yuan Lang chuckled, leaning in closer to Wu Yue. "But you weren’t wrong about one thing."
He chuckled, and his handso, chiseled face nuzzled intimately against Wu Yue’s still sowhat gaunt cheek. His voice grew deeper, more magnetic, laced with a hint of seduction. "I do have designs on you, and... quite a few, at that."
Wu Yue felt the hair all over her body stand on end the instant the Beastman nuzzled against her. ’Holy crap, crap, crap, crap!’
’This damn man is actually hitting on !’
Faced with this close-quarters assault, Wu Yue, for so reason, suddenly blurted out, "Aren’t my cheekbones digging into you?"
To be honest, she was starting to understand what Yuan Lang had said earlier. She might be cleaner now, but this body was still just as gaunt as ever.
After all, she couldn’t put on weight in just a day or two.
"Heh!"
Yuan Lang chuckled, his large, well-defined hand gently stroking her frizzy hair. "So you do have so self-awareness. It is a bit bony, I’ll admit."
Wu Yue snorted. "I haven’t even gotten you back for taking advantage of , and you’re already complaining about the hand-feel... no, the *face-feel*!"
"You two had better shut up, or I can’t guarantee I won’t throw you off."
An unfamiliar Beastman’s voice cut in. After a mont of stunned silence, the two realized it must have co from the Flying Eagle Tribe Beastman Warrior they were riding on.
The Beastman Warrior was extrely unhappy. ’Isn’t it every beast’s duty to show so consideration for a single guy? Why are these two on my back so inconsiderate?’
Only Beastn of Silver Rank or higher could hunt in the deep forest, so their stamina was naturally incredible.
After stopping for food just once, the few Beastn from the Flying Eagle Tribe actually flew all the way back to the Snow Tiger Tribe in a single stretch.
The Hunting and Collection Teams had already gone out for the day, so the tribe was exceptionally quiet.
However, the Half-beastman Warriors on guard duty imdiately spotted the Beastman Warriors of the Flying Eagle Tribe swooping down from the sky.
Just as they were about to sound a warning, they saw the figures land not far from the tribe.
Then, one after another, familiar figures began hopping down from their backs.
"Uncle Yuan Qi, Yuan Lang, you’re back? So soon?"
The Half-beastman Warrior ca running over. When Wu Yue heard the voice and looked, she saw it was Shi Lin, a very familiar face.
"Yue, you’re back too!"
The pair of fluffy ears on the Half-beastman Warrior’s head twitched with joy, and a brilliant smile instantly spread across Wu Yue’s face.
"Hey, Shi Lin. Are you on patrol today?"
Shi Lin grinned good-naturedly and scratched his head, nodding. "Yep. It’s my lucky day; I don’t have to go out hunting."
With that, he turned to the others. "I’ll go tell the Clan Leader you’re back right now."
He tossed the Stone Spear in his hand to the partner he was on guard duty with and darted off into the tribe.
The group shook their heads in amusent. Yuan Qi comnted, "That boy’s still just a cub."
The mbers of the Flying Eagle Tribe followed behind the group, constantly taking in the sights of the Snow Tiger Tribe before them.
