While they were talking, they arrived at the witch’s cave.
Surprisingly, Ye Duo was also sitting in the cave, looking unusually well-behaved.
When she saw Wu Yue co in, she only lifted her eyes to shoot her a fierce glare before lowering her head again and making herself small.
Wu Yue raised an eyebrow, greeted the witch and the Clan Leader with a broad smile, and then sat down ekly beside Yuan Lang.

So she nodded and said, "Yes. I have no objection to the matter of the houses."
The Clan Leader and the witch exchanged a look and finally revealed their first smiles of the day. "That’s wonderful."
Wu Yue chuckled softly. "Actually, I have an idea. The Clan Leader and the witch can select so of the males to form a special team.
I’ll lead them in the construction, and once they’re familiar with the process, they can split into small groups to build houses for the other tribe mbers. I’ll just need to go and inspect the work.
However, they won’t be able to hunt or gather during the construction, so their food will have to be provided by the people who are getting the new houses."
Yuan Lang’s gaze deepened, and the corners of his lips curved into a subtle smile.
At her words, the eyes of the witch and the Clan Leader lit up. "That’s an excellent idea! With more people, the building will go much faster."
"We should build for the tribe mbers with the best gathering skills first."
