Wu Yue shook her head. "I’ll rest after I’ve treated all the injured Half-beastman Warriors. Their wounds will only get worse if we wait."

Seeing her insistence, Yuan Qi felt an inexplicable sense of admiration welling up inside him—the kind of respect usually reserved for a witch or a powerful Beastman Warrior.

Wu Yue nodded. "Then bring them both in."
With that said, she looked at Yuan Qi again. "Could I trouble you, Uncle, to have soone prepare so fruit and roasted at for ?"
Yuan Qi paused, slightly taken aback. "Roasted at?"
Wu Yue grinned and nodded. "I like my at cooked over a fire."
The corner of Yuan Qi’s mouth twitched, but he glanced at her and nodded in agreent.
After the beastn carried the last two Half-beastman Warriors inside, Yuan Qi ordered a tribesman to go pick so fruit. He then took a tender piece of fresh at and tossed it onto the fire.
Yuan Qi’s expression was conflicted as he watched the at slowly char and blacken in the flas.
