The Black Wolf Tribe Leader looked at the beastman’s expectant expression and let out a cold laugh. Grabbing him by the scruff of his neck, he dragged him toward a shadowy corner.
A sinister voice drifted through the night. "This was all your brilliant idea. It got thoroughly thrashed. If you know what’s good for you, you won’t resist. Just let return the favor."
What followed were bursts of miserable wails, which rose and fell in perfect rhythm with the snores of the surrounding Beastn.
The next morning, Wu Yue woke from a comfortable sleep. A cool, damp breeze drifted in from outside the thatched hut, feeling wonderfully refreshing.
Outside the thatched hut, the Beastn were already bustling about.
When the Black Wolf Tribe Leader arrived with his n, he was t with an irresistibly enticing aroma and couldn’t help but gulp.
His wolf-like eyes instantly glowed with a green light. He had no idea what delicious food the Snow Tiger Tribe Beastn were making, but the craving was driving him absolutely mad.
"Captain Yuan Qi! What delicious food are you making? It slls incredible!"
The Black Wolf Tribe Leader sidled over with a huge grin, heading straight for the source of that enticing aroma.
Yuan Qi shot the shaless Black Wolf Tribe Leader a sidelong glance and said coolly, "Our young female was busy all day yesterday. We’re making so good food for her."
’I’ve already made it clear. If he still dares to fight our young female for food, he’s truly shaless.’
Sensing the hostility in Yuan Qi’s tone, the Black Wolf Tribe Leader gave an awkward, dry laugh.
But his eyes were still glued to the roasting at, impossible to tear away.
"Is all of this for the young female?"
’Don’t try to fool this wolf. That young female from your tribe is so thin and frail. How could she possibly eat this much?’

With that said, he scraped the cooked at onto a large leaf and handed it to a Beastman Warrior beside him. "Take this to the thatched hut for when the young female wakes up."
Watching helplessly as the fragrant food was taken away, the Black Wolf Tribe Leader’s eyes nearly turned red.
"So, Black Wolf Tribe Leader, was there sothing you ca to see us about?"
Yuan Qi stood and dusted off his hands—though they weren’t dirty—and asked with cold indifference.
No longer seduced by the aroma, the Black Wolf Tribe Leader’s brain finally started working again. He at last noticed the cold attitude the surrounding Snow Tiger Tribe Beastman Warriors were giving him.
’He felt a wave of embarrassnt. It seed his arrangents yesterday had truly earned their displeasure.’
"Yesterday, the witch and I were so busy treating our tribesn that I had no idea you’d been assigned to this area."
With that, he sighed guiltily and dragged forward a Beastman from behind him—one who’d been beaten so badly his own Father and Amu wouldn’t recognize him.
"This idiot here arranged everything. I only found out about it myself when I got back to my hut late last night."
Guilt was written all over his wolfish face. "This is all my fault. This only happened because I didn’t personally handle the arrangents. The witch already chewed out for it yesterday."
Yuan Qi raised an eyebrow. "So?"
A wide grin spread across the Black Wolf Tribe Leader’s face. "So, of course, we need to rearrange the healing for the Snow Tiger Tribe."
Yuan Qi chuckled drily. ’Finding a scape-wolf? That’s the sa trick I used yesterday.’
"But our tribe’s young female has already treated those Half beastman Warriors. She still has to brew a dicinal decoction today, so let’s just forget about any rearrangents."
