The strength of beastn was no joke. As expected of warriors who could sprint while carrying prey weighing hundreds of pounds, Wu Yue felt like a little chick as Yuan Lang effortlessly lifted her up.
Teng Kun ca up second, while his older brother, Teng Qian, selflessly volunteered to bring up the rear.
The mont his shaggy head erged from the opening, Teng Qian felt as though he had co back to life.
He let out a few loud roars, his cries brimming with unrestrained joy.
Just as his roars faded, a familiar cry echoed from the distant forest.
"It’s Uncle Yuan Qi."
Teng Qian shouted upon hearing the cry.
They exchanged glances. Yuan Lang looked at the others and said, "Later, tell them we rescued Yue, but we ran into a Fierce Beast not long after and only made it back here today. Got it?"
Wu Yue and the two Teng brothers nodded obediently. "Got it."
"We’ll tell Uncle Yuan Qi and the others about the salt crystal when we get back to the tribe," she continued. "For now, we need to go to the border between the Snow Tiger Tribe’s and Black Wolf Tribe’s territories. The treatnt for the Black Wolf Tribe’s beastn requires an herb that grows there."
As she finished, her brow furrowed unconsciously. "The herbs I prepared before are only enough for three days. I’m afraid we’re running out of ti. I just hope nothing goes wrong."
Hearing this, Yuan Lang turned to Wu Yue. "Are their injuries that serious?"
Wu Yue nodded. "Their wounds are red, swollen, festering, and oozing pus. The Black Wolf Tribe had already given up on them by the ti we arrived."
The beastman’s deep, dark eyes narrowed. "Are you saying the Black Wolf Tribe actually assigned you injured beastn they had already given up on?"
His expression turned ugly. ’This is blatant bullying of a young female.’
Wu Yue chuckled lightly, her eyes showing no trace of indignation. "It’s probably because they could see I’m not a Witch Disciple."
And that was the truth of the matter.
They didn’t have to wait long. After just a few exchanged words, a rustling sound ca from the surrounding forest, accompanied by the familiar roar of a Snow Tiger Beastman.
When Yuan Qi, Wolf Fang, and the other beastn saw Wu Yue, they nearly burst into tears of relief and sorrow.
He shoved Yuan Lang aside and looked at the young female with a worried expression. "Yue, what happened yesterday? Where did you go? We searched the entire surrounding forest but couldn’t find your scent."
Wu Yue chuckled and pointed at Yuan Lang. "Uncle, that Wolf King had pinned under its claws. Yuan Lang and the others are the ones who saved ."
She then frowned in frustration. "We were planning to wait for you in a safe place nearby, but we unexpectedly ran into a Fierce Beast, so we had to flee. I figured you’d still be looking for around the original spot, so I followed the direction back here today."
"Father, can you not see ?"
The corner of Yuan Lang’s mouth twitched as he stared at the ddleso old beastman who had taken his spot next to his female.
Only then did Yuan Qi act as if he’d just noticed him, drawing out a long, "Ohhh." "You’re here, too."
And that was it.
Wu Yue looked at Yuan Qi. "Uncle, I’ve already told Yuan Lang and the others about our mission. We should head out right away. We can’t delay any longer for the Half beastn in the Black Wolf Tribe."
Upon hearing this, Wolf Fang and the other Black Wolf Tribe Beastman Warriors looked deeply moved.
Yuan Qi smiled. "Don’t you worry about the herbs. I sent so beastn back to gather them yesterday. They won’t need to rest on the way, so they should arrive by this evening."
Wu Yue let out a huge sigh of relief. "That’s wonderful."
