The mont Wu Yue entered the straw shed, she was greeted by a spectacular scene of absolute chaos.
The once-lifeless shed was now so rowdy it seed as if so grand ritual was underway.
It was the Snow Tiger Tribe Beastman Warriors, feeding dicinal soup to the Half-beastman Warriors who were still unable to move.
A heavy, bitter aroma filled the straw shed.
The Half-beastman Warriors who could only move their eyes were naturally unable to struggle as they drank the soup. With their beast-like faces scrunched in misery, they gulped it down. It couldn’t have looked more painful.
What surprised Wu Yue, however, were the Half-beastman Warriors who could already move around a bit...
A Half-beastman Warrior would help the Snow Tiger Tribe Beastman Warriors hold down his companion’s arms and legs for their dose of dicine, only to struggle with all his might when it was his own turn.
But what goes around, cos around.
You’d just finished pinning soone down to pour dicine down their throat, and to top it off, you were cackling like a TV supervillain.
Now that you’re the one being pinned down and manhandled in your straw bed, who can you possibly bla?
’In the end, none of them can escape the fate of drinking the dicine. So what’s the point of all this mutual tornt?’
One bowl of dicinal soup later, all the Half-beastn’s vitality was gone. The once-chaotic shed instantly beca ho to more than a dozen lifeless bodies, a sight Wu Yue found hilarious.
Perhaps her laughter startled the Beastman Warriors, because they turned, saw her, and imdiately scampered over.
"Yue, we’ve given them today’s herbal dicine."
Their wide eyes were practically begging for praise.
Wu Yue chuckled lightly. "You’re all taking great care of these Half-beastman Warriors. You’re doing wonderfully!"
Hehe~
The few Snow Tiger Tribe Beastman Warriors were walking on air, each grinning so widely their eyes practically disappeared. They couldn’t have looked more pleased with themselves.
Their gazes hardened with resolve as they looked back at the Black Wolf Tribe Half-beastman Warriors. They would have to be even more thorough with the dicine tomorrow.
A sudden chill ran down the spines of the Half-beastman Warriors. They turned their heads, completely bewildered, a cold feeling creeping up the backs of their necks... They had a strange, bad feeling about this!
Wu Yue walked over to the straw bed of the most severely injured Half-beastman Warrior. He had already opened his eyes, his face contorted as he relived the foul taste of the dicine.
When he saw a young female approach, surrounded by Snow Tiger Tribe beastn, his gaze froze for a mont before flaring with a searing intensity. "Was it you who saved us?"
His voice was still hoarse, but there was no hiding the imnse gratitude in his tone.
Wu Yue smiled and nodded. "When I left, your injuries were the most severe. It seems you haven’t been called by the Beast God after all."
"It’s all thanks to your treatnt and the herbs that we’re recovering. You saved our lives." The Half-beastman’s black wolf ears twitched with excitent.
Wu Yue smiled and crouched down. "Don’t get too worked up. The reason I treated you is that you all helped our Snow Tiger Tribe before."
As she spoke, she skillfully changed the herbal poultice on his wound. "Your injuries are more severe than the other Half-beastman Warriors. Even though you’re past the most dangerous stage, you still need to get plenty of rest.
Your wounds are starting to heal now. If you drink your dicine and let change the dressings, it will speed up your recovery.
If you don’t drink your dicine on ti, the wounds might start to fester again, and you’ll develop a fever. If that happens, there’ll be nothing more I can do."
The Half-beastman Warrior suddenly rembered how he had fought against taking his dicine, and he nodded in embarrassnt.
