The Black Wolf Witch simply couldn’t stand the sight of a little female, a brand-new Witch Disciple, acting more impressive than him. He just wanted to teach her a lesson.
However, to have him, the witch of a Great Tribe, actually get into a petty squabble with a young female... he couldn’t bring himself to do that.
But...
"With such poor training aptitude, you shouldn’t even bother learning healing thods. Just go back and focus on your ditation."
With that, he shot her a cold glance and left.
He took a few steps, then turned back, an angry expression on his face as he looked at them.
The female and the Lion Tribe Beastn froze. ’What is it now? We didn’t do anything!’
"What are you all standing around for? Are you waiting to get knocked over?"
With that, he snorted coldly and left.
Only then did the Black Wolf Tribe Leader squeeze out of the thatched hut, his face a mask of solemnity. Before leaving, he didn’t forget to offer a piece of earnest advice. "Rest well."
Then he scurried off after the Black Wolf Witch.
The mont the two bigwigs left, the female’s expression darkened.
Rembering how the Black Wolf Witch had announced her poor training aptitude in front of so many Beastn, her mood turned foul. She wanted nothing more than to turn around and leave on the spot.
But when she rembered the instructions her own witch had given her before she left the tribe, she took a deep breath and cald herself.
’It’s fine. As long as I’m not the one who feels awkward, they’re the ones who should be embarrassed.’
Her indifferent expression returning, she walked into the thatched hut.
At the sight of this strong, beautiful female, the Half-beastman Warriors of the Black Wolf Tribe no longer felt their earlier enthusiasm.
They knew their witch’s foul temperant all too well.
He had just shown his disgust for this female so openly. If he saw them fawning all over her, they would definitely get a beating.
Besides...
Thinking of the female’s arrogant deanor, the Half-beastn exchanged a glance...
’She probably looks down on Half-beastman Warriors like us anyway.’
And so, the next thing that infuriated the female occurred: a woman who was used to receiving a flurry of burning gazes wherever she went was now being completely ignored.
These Half-beastman Warriors simply lay in their straw beds, looking feeble and pretending to be asleep with their eyes shut.
The sudden silence was suffocating. The female felt she could no longer contain her rising anger.
She turned to the only Beastman Warrior still standing in the hut. "What are you still standing around for? Don’t you know to give... wait... you’re from the Black Wolf Tribe too?"
In a world where looks were everything, her furious tone instantly lted into a gentle inquiry the mont she saw Yuan Lang’s handso face.
The female may not have received any burning gazes from others, but she was certainly giving one to Yuan Lang.
Stared at by the female’s scorching gaze, Yuan Lang remained perfectly calm.
"If you’re done looking, please leave. The Half-beastn haven’t recovered from their injuries yet and need to rest."
The words had barely left his lips when his deep eyes shifted to the Black Wolf Tribe’s Half-beastman Warriors, who were lying in their straw beds enjoying the show. He shot them a subtle, threatening glance, his eyes flicking towards a stone bowl on the side before a sinister smile touched the corner of his lips.
The faces of the Black Wolf Tribe’s Half-beastman Warriors stiffened. They got the ssage instantly and, in unison, imdiately began to groan.
"Owww, my head hurts so much. I think I’m about to et the Beast God."
"My leg..."
"Is my arm going to break again...?"
The female’s passionate gaze instantly turned sullen again. She was in no mood to check on the Half-beastman Warriors now.
"You just wait. You’re just a Low-rank Beastman Warrior."
With that, she flung aside the straw curtain and stord off.
