Upon questioning by Wu Yue, it was revealed that all those found with Poisonous Insects had, without exception, worked in the hos of Beastman Warriors or Half beastman Warriors.
This ant the main focus of the extermination needed to be on the "food" the Poisonous Insects preferred.
After the extermination, Wu Yue and the Beastman Warriors departed.
To her surprise, the four people she had just temporarily appointed had beco the captains of four small squads among the slaves.
The slaves began to work under their captains’ leadership on their own accord.
After seeing Wu Yue ho, Yuan Lang transford into his beast form and ran straight for the forest outside the tribe.
At the tribe’s entrance, a dozen or so tall, sturdy figures were already waiting.
"Boss, are we hunting the wolf pack again today?"
The Beastman Warriors were always endlessly passionate about hunting.
Yuan Lang glanced at the darkened forest, his deep eyes glinting. "This ti, we’re hunting Fire Foxes."
"Fire Foxes!" The faces of all the Beastman Warriors fell in unison, looking like a pack of kicked puppies.
The Fire Fox was one of the fastest beasts in the Polar Forest, and also one of the most popular among the tribe.
Despite being a popular target and frequently hunted, their numbers showed no signs of decreasing.
One reason was their incredible reproductive ability; the other was their knack for escaping.
The Fire Fox’s fur was a perfect match for its na—the color of embers and incredibly warm.
That was why, before every winter, many powerful Beastman Warriors would team up with close tribe mbers to hunt Fire Foxes, using the pelts for warmth or to make Beast Skin clothing for a female they fancied.
Teng Qian snickered. "Boss, don’t tell you’re hunting Fire Foxes to make clothes for the little female."
Yuan Lang snorted. "Not for clothes."
The several Beastman Warriors who had been eavesdropping with pricked ears all breathed a collective sigh of relief and turned to Teng Qian. "See? The Boss takes pity on us. Fire Foxes are one of the hardest beasts to hunt in the entire forest."
Teng Qian, however, just gave them a pitying look. ’These guys are so naive. I’d bet the hair on my head the Boss is definitely hunting those Fire Foxes for Wu Yue.’
Sure enough, a mont later, Yuan Lang’s voice rang out again. "To make a cloak."
Teng Qian stumbled, nearly falling flat on his face.
He pushed his jaw back into place, wishing he could just tear out all his hair. "Boss, are you serious?"
’Freaking hell! A single garnt made of Fire Fox fur is already precious enough, but you want to make an entire cloak?’
’Are you trying to reach for the heavens?’
The other beastn, completely baffled, gathered around Teng Qian. "What’s a cloak?"
Teng Qian pouted, his voice a whimper. "It’s a Beast Skin garnt that can wrap around a female’s entire body."
All the beastn staggered in unison, their eyes nearly popping out of their sockets. "Wr... wrap her whole body?"
Their voices even cracked on the last word...
Up ahead, Yuan Lang heard them and turned around. His inky eyes were dark and deep, making his emotions impossible to read.
But who would dare complain while being stared at by those eyes?
They hastily nodded. "Hunt Fire Foxes? We have no objection."
And so, the latest training plan for the day was hot off the press.
At Yuan Lang’s command, the Beastman Warriors charged into the forest as one.
This was the training plan Yuan Lang had designed for his n. They had to get their speed up.
This was because on a recent hunt, he and several tribe mbers had pursued a particularly fierce beast, and it had taken a great deal of effort to bring it down.
It was the first ti Yuan Lang had ever found a hunt to be difficult.
