The Black Wolf Witch waved a weary hand. "Let’s talk in the Snow Tiger Witch’s cave."
With that, he headed toward the Snow Tiger Witch’s cave, moving with a practiced familiarity.
At that mont, the Snow Tiger Witch was brewing witch dicine for Shi Lin and another Half-beastman Warrior. He was a bit surprised to see the rather disheveled Black Wolf Witch. "Why are you back again?"
The Black Wolf Witch plopped down onto the Snow Tiger Witch’s grass pallet and rolled his eyes irritably. "The way you say that, it’s almost like you’re sick of . Should I leave, then?"
The Snow Tiger Witch glanced at him with a smile. "I won’t see you out."
The Black Wolf Witch was speechless.
’That stinking tiger is so unpleasant.’
He let out a deep sigh. "I never even made it back."
He then recounted the series of events that occurred after he left the Snow Tiger Tribe.
A chill went down the Snow Tiger Witch’s spine. Thinking of Ye Duo, who had been abducted and killed just days ago, he seed to have figured out the plans of these tribes from outside the forest.
His expression grew solemn. "It seems these tribes from outside the forest have set their sights on us old folks and the Witch Disciples in the tribes."
He then looked at the Black Wolf Witch. "Kill us, and the tribes will pretty much fall apart."
"Did you get a clear look at that Worm Witch?"
the Snow Tiger Witch suddenly asked.
The Black Wolf Witch shook his head. "The man was very cautious, always hiding in the middle of the beastn."
"His lips were blackish-red, and his face was ashen gray."
A deep, magnetic voice spoke from the entrance of the cave. The two witches turned to see it was Yuan Lang.
Behind the Snow Tiger Tribe Leader were Wu Yue and the Half-beastman Warrior with the lighter injuries. The four of them stood at the mouth of the cave.Taking a closer look, the Snow Tiger Witch beckoned. "What are you doing standing there? All of you, co in."
After the group entered the cave, he looked at Yuan Lang. "You saw the Worm Witch?"
"Perhaps because we appeared so suddenly, they hadn’t had ti to protect the Worm Witch. I saw his face, just as I described a mont ago."

The Black Wolf Witch still retorted, "He’s a Poison Witch, not a Worm Witch."
The Snow Tiger Witch shot him a look, tossed him a wild vegetable ball, and then turned to the silent Half-beastman Warrior.

The Half-beastman Warrior knelt respectfully on a grass mat. "That night, Shi Lin and I were taking turns guarding Ye Duo. Just as I went to relieve Shi Lin so he could rest, the bodies of two Beastman Warriors from the Black Wolf Tribe suddenly crashed down not far from where Ye Duo was.
Shi Lin and I were about to shout for the patrolling tribesn, but the mont we opened our mouths, it felt like sothing went inside. In the next instant, we couldn’t make a sound."
As he spoke, he touched his throat, still shaken by the mory.
He swallowed. "Then, a lot of beastn with scorpion tails appeared and attacked us while our bodies were paralyzed.
Their leader was a male Pure Human, completely wrapped in black Beast Skin."
’A male Pure Human completely wrapped in black Beast Skin?’
’That must be the Worm Witch.’
"Ye Duo was frightened and shouted that she was a Witch Disciple. The beastn ended up taking her away too, but..."
He scratched his head. "When they arrived, we didn’t sll any scent on them at all. But just before I lost consciousness, I think I saw sothing on the ground crawl up onto their bodies and disappear."
Everyone suddenly fell silent. Such tactics could only be the work of that Worm Witch.
"This is such a pain," the Black Wolf Witch sighed.
He had been away from his tribe for a long ti. If he didn’t go back soon, there would surely be so unrest.
For a tribe, the deterrent power of a witch was very important.
The Snow Tiger Witch nodded, then said to the Half-beastman Warrior, "Alright, you can go back and recuperate."

The System’s voice suddenly rang in Wu Yue’s mind, and she also felt sothing fluffy touching her finger.
She looked down and, sure enough, saw the plump little System. At this mont, its small, furry face was looking up at her, an expression of pure grievance written all over it.
