"Have those Shun Yuan left?"
Yuan Lang’s mouth twitched. "If you all keep dawdling, you’ll be just in ti to say goodbye to them."
The beastn shuddered at his words and imdiately bolted over to Yuan Lang’s group. "What are we waiting for? Let’s get out of here! Those Shun Yuan have no sha at all."
From his disgusted expression, Yuan Lang instantly recognized him. It was the sa Beastman Warrior whose butt had been slapped by the Shun Yuan Leader.
Having rescued the n, the group didn’t linger. They turned and ran out of the canyon.
"Boss, are we heading straight for the outskirts now?"
Yuan Lang nodded. "Once we’re far enough away, we’ll signal the others to retreat. It’ll be dangerous if this goes on for too long."
The beastn’s expressions turned serious, and they nodded solemnly.
When the canyon was no longer visible in the distance, Yuan Lang’s group stopped. They all faced different directions into the forest and let out a series of deafening tiger roars.
Startling flocks of birds into the air.
"Go."
After a few roars, the group started running toward the outskirts again.
But they hadn’t been running for long when Yuan Lang, at the front, suddenly frowned. The mont his foot landed, he clearly felt an unusual vibration from the ground.
A Beastman Warrior’s weight would never cause such a huge disturbance.
His expression hardened. His low, magnetic voice sounded in the ears of the Beastman Warriors around him. "There’s a powerful Fierce Beast behind us. It’s massive. We’ll spread out up ahead. Wait for my command."
"Yes."
Aside from the few Lion Tribe Beastman Warriors, the Snow Tiger Tribe Beastman Warriors who followed Yuan Lang had been trained by him for a long ti and naturally obeyed his every command.
The handful of Lion Tribe Beastman Warriors hadn’t noticed anything amiss, but seeing Yuan Lang’s deanor and knowing he was the Snow Tiger Tribe’s leader on this mission, they also chose to obey.
In a dense patch of forest up ahead, the group instantly scattered and hid in the trees.
They held their breath, watching the direction they had co from.
Sure enough, a mont later, the previously imperceptible tremors in the ground beca obvious. The branches and leaves of the surrounding trees began to tremble.
The approaching beast was moving fast. In just a mont, they could make out its general shape, and the beastn couldn’t help but suck in a sharp breath.
The faces of the Lion Tribe Beastman Warriors who had just been rescued turned incredibly grim.
The one chasing them was none other than that enormous, incredibly muscular Shun Yuan Leader.
Its huge feet stomped on the ground, making heavy thuds. Its ragged breathing revealed the leader’s current fury.
Its two hands, much larger than cattail fans, swept aside any branches in its way, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake.
Yuan Lang’s heart grew heavy. It was obvious they were no match for this Shun Yuan Leader. Moreover, the leader had probably already evolved to the point of becoming a High Rank Fierce Beast.
He looked at the Beastman Warriors hidden in the surrounding trees, gestured for them to retreat, then shot down from his tree and dashed off in another direction.
Seeing this, the beastn’s hearts tightened. They instinctively wanted to follow, but their feet froze as they rembered Yuan Lang’s words from their training.
They gritted their teeth, looked at each other, and one said, "Let’s rendezvous with the others first."
With that, they took one last deep look in the direction their boss had gone, then ran toward the pre-arranged eting point.
anwhile, the Shun Yuan Leader, having spotted Yuan Lang, let out a furious roar. Its crimson eyes seed to burn with imnse rage as it bellowed and gave chase.
Feeling the Shun Yuan Leader’s frenzy behind him, Yuan Lang pushed himself to run even faster.
’Good grief,’ he thought. ’My build is considered tall and strong in the tribe, but in front of this behemoth, I wouldn’t even survive a single stomp.’
’If it stomps a little off-target, I might just peek out from between its toes.’
He stopped caring whether he looked cool or not and just bolted, running faster than he ever had before.
One scrambled frantically in front, the other howled furiously in pursuit.
But every chase has to end soti.
Seeing Yuan Lang running for his life, the weaker Fierce Beasts in the area could only lick their lips in disappointnt, drooling at the missed opportunity.
This little morsel was a goner.
A mont later, Yuan Lang realized this as well.
Looking at the not-so-large valley ahead, Yuan Lang panted heavily. He felt there was a certain phrase that ca to mind, but he wasn’t sure if it was appropriate to say it.
The pursuing Shun Yuan saw the male stop up ahead and excitedly beat its own extraordinarily muscular chest.
It let out a series of howls to express its excitent.
