The giant python was completely losing it. "HISSS!!!"
After tossing a piece of at to the Shun Yuan Leader, Yuan Lang sat himself down between the two beasts. Holding the fragrant roasted at, he devoured it until his mouth was dripping with grease.
He even had to change his spot partway through, mainly because the two beasts’ drool was spreading a little too quickly.
Tossing aside the stick that had held the roasted at, he dusted off his hands, stood up, and looked at the two Fierce Beasts. "Now then, which one of you should I start with?"
The giant python and the Shun Yuan Leader shivered, a sudden, inexplicable chill running through them.
As Yuan Lang drew a wooden spear from behind his back, the sight of its blue-black tip gave the Shun Yuan Leader a terrible premonition. "ROAR! ROAR!"
As for the giant python, which possessed its own natural venom, it was all too familiar with the scent of the poison on the spear’s tip. Its serpentine eyes widened in disbelief.

The Shun Yuan Leader saw him coming and slowly began to display its ferocity, baring its teeth and roaring at him. Shreds of at still clung to its sharp fangs.
Yuan Lang reached its side and raised the wooden spear high in his left hand. Then, his dark, profound eyes shifted to stare at the giant python. His arm muscles bunched as he viciously plunged the spear into the Shun Yuan Leader’s neck.
Already grievously wounded, there was no way the Shun Yuan Leader could withstand such a blow. It let out a few sputtering, low growls before breathing its last.
The giant python felt like it was going to lose its mind. ’Damn it, if you’re going to kill a beast, then just kill the beast! Why the hell are you looking at ?’
Yuan Lang pulled out the blood-drenched wooden spear and slowly walked toward the giant python.
The giant python’s body trembled. No one knew how it managed it, but its once huge and massive body slowly began to shrink.
As its body shrank, however, it let out a series of pained hisses.
By the ti it stopped, it was shorter than Yuan Lang’s forearm and was looking up at him with a pitiful expression.
Yuan Lang: "..."
’Does it take for so female who dotes on cute things?’
He walked over to the now-tiny python and squatted down, his deep eyes filled with a hint of disdain. "You’re already wounded this badly. What use are you? I’d be better off just killing you for your Crystal Core."
Hearing this, the python began to hiss frantically. "HISSS HISSS HISSS!"
’I’m super useful! Once I’ve healed up, I’ll help you show off and carry you to greatness!’
Yuan Lang gave it a look of disgust, raised his wooden spear, and prepared to stab down.
The python’s heart went cold. ’How could he? I look so harmless, so adorable! How can this Beastman bear to kill ?’
Just as it closed its beady little eyes and prepared for death, a series of familiar roars suddenly echoed in the distance.
Yuan Lang glanced at the small snake at his feet, then moved to the side and let out a deep, powerful tiger’s roar in response.
’My tribesn must have been worried I was in danger and have co to find .’
The python’s injuries were severe, making it difficult for it to even move. Yuan Lang simply picked it up and tossed it into a bamboo canister at his waist, leaving only a small hole for it to breathe through.
He then began to search the surrounding corpses of the dead Fierce Beasts for Crystal Cores.
By the ti Teng Qian and Teng Kun arrived in the valley with the Beastman Warriors from the Black Wolf Tribe and the Lion Tribe, Yuan Lang had already finished collecting all the Crystal Cores from the corpses of the Fierce Beasts.
There were at least a hundred dead Fierce Beasts in the valley, but only a little over twenty of them contained Crystal Cores.
The mont the Beastn entered the valley, they were stunned by the overwhelming stench of blood.
Teng Qian, Teng Kun, and the Beastman Warriors from the Snow Tiger Tribe imdiately rushed to Yuan Lang’s side. "Boss, are you alright?"
Yuan Lang shook his head. "I’m fine."
Then he looked at them and said, "Hurry and salvage the pelts and fangs from the Fierce Beasts. We need to leave here as soon as possible."
Seeing that he was unhard, the Beastn from the Black Wolf Tribe and the Lion Tribe also breathed a sigh of relief.
This was especially true for the Beastman Warriors from the Lion Tribe who had been attacked by the Shun Yuan Leader earlier. They knew better than anyone just how powerful it was.
After thanking Yuan Lang, they eagerly went to help salvage the Shun Yuan Leader’s pelt, fangs, and claws.
They were stunned when they saw the massive hole in the Shun Yuan Leader’s neck, which was still trickling blood.
They couldn’t help but steal a glance at the Beastman standing in the clearing counting Crystal Cores before quickly looking away, their hands moving with even greater diligence.
’So ruthless... That was the Shun Yuan Leader, killed just like that. And he used a...’
As they thought of the blood-soaked wooden spear in the Beastman’s hands, a feeling of reverence for such power welled up inside them.
