The newcor seed to have a terrible temper, cursing and swearing from a distance all the way until he entered the cave.
When he saw the huddled Beastman and the other tribesman, who was long ’asleep’ and dead to the world, his head instantly started buzzing with anger.
’Oho~ We worked our asses off traveling through the rain, and look at you two. Warming yourselves by a little fire, snoring away. You’re really living the good life, aren’t you?’
Then he looked down at himself, soaking wet, and the group of Beastn behind him, and couldn’t help but feel utterly pathetic.
He imdiately strode forward and kicked the ’sleeping’ tribesman in the ass.
But perhaps because rainy days and sleep are a perfect match, the guy showed no signs of waking up even after being kicked.
The Beastman to the side secretly glanced at Wu Yue. When he saw her staring at him with a grin, a chill ran down his spine.
He stood up with a dry laugh and called over to this group of tribesn, "It’s so cold outside. Co warm yourselves by the fire."
The leading Beastman snorted coldly, shook the water from his hair, and walked straight over to sit down by Wu Yue’s straw nest.
He looked at the scrawny little female, who didn’t fit the current Beastman aesthetic in the slightest, then turned to the other Beastman with a look of disdain. "What is this thing? Didn’t the witch tell you to capture a female from the Snow Tiger Tribe?"
Wu Yue, who had just been called a ’thing’, felt her expression stiffen. ’Can I just kill this Beastman right now?’
The Beastman glanced at Wu Yue’s dark expression, secretly shuffled a few steps closer to the cave entrance, and said with a dry laugh, "She is the little female the witch wants."
The Angry Beast raised an eyebrow, turning to size Wu Yue up carefully. After a long mont, he frowned and muttered, "She’s so scrawny, not even as tough as a bipedal beast."
’A "bipedal beast" now, am I? ’Agh, System, don’t hold back! My short temper just can’t take this Angry Beast. He’s only been in the cave for a few breaths, and I’ve already lost all face in his eyes.’’

Hearing this, the Beastman at the entrance shuffled his feet, inching even closer to the mouth of the cave.
The Angry Beast raised an eyebrow, water still dripping from his ssy, blue-black hair. "We’re Beastn from the Extre Forest Outer Tribe, you know."
’Oh? "You know" my ass!’
Wu Yue gave him a huge eye-roll. "So what? Are Beastn from the Extre Forest Outer Tribe supposed to be a big deal?"
The Angry Beast frowned. "You little female, have you still not grasped the situation?"
He turned to the Beastman who had already shifted to the cave entrance. "Did you two not tell her why we captured her?"
The Beastman chuckled and scratched his hair. "She’s been thinking this whole ti that we’re newly transford Beastn from the Snow Tiger Tribe."
The Angry Beast shot Wu Yue a contemptuous look. "As expected of a scrawny one, her brain doesn’t work well either. Have you ever seen a newly transford Beastman look so weathered?"
Wu Yue: "..."
’This guy should just shut up.’ She could feel her chest ache at his words.
’The kids here are all struggling just to get by, so she’d thought looking a bit weathered was perfectly normal...’
But now, looking at the Beastman at the cave entrance, he did indeed look a bit too weathered for his age.
