That evening, to celebrate their victory against the Iron Claw Worms, all the mbers of the tribe gathered for a lively feast.
Even the Beastn from the Scorpion Tribe, whom the tribe mbers were usually wary of, joined in.
Their living quarters were in the outermost part of the cave, so when the Iron Claw Worms first appeared, they were the ones to help the patrolling Beastn fight them off.
Wu Yue was a little surprised when she first found out. She hadn’t expected the Beastn of the Scorpion Tribe to be so honorable.
Only the Angry Beast, who was currently enjoying being fed by the surrounding Grandmas, knew just how big of a misunderstanding this all was.
He had finished his arduous work and finally managed to find a mont to sneak in a nap. But just as he lay down, a chill shot up from his rear end all the way to his scalp.
As a Beastman Warrior who was always sensitive to danger, he naturally leaped up at once. But because of that very leap, those damn bugs with their giant pincers managed to gouge two holes in his perfect rear end.
For a Beastman like him, who possessed both good looks and great strength, any damage to either was enough to make his already short temper even shorter.
He no longer cared if the things were terrifying. With a roar, he brandished his claws and charged, planning to tear them to shreds and worry about the consequences later.
But... there’s always a "but"...
After dealing with the few Iron Claw Worms that had crept into the cave, he didn’t even have a chance to flip his hair and look cool before a series of chillingly familiar clicks and clacks of pincers ca from outside.
The Angry Beast’s face stiffened. He was just about to lead his tribesn in a retreat to wait for reinforcents.
But the male slaves behind him charged straight out, brandishing their clubs and starting to fight the Iron Claw Worms.
’The Pure Humans have joined the fight. If I, a dignified Beastman Warrior, were to retreat now, it would be too cowardly.’ He shot a look at the tribesn behind him, then charged forward with a roar.
To the Angry Beast, that look had ant ’hold back your strength.’ But to his fellow Beastman Warriors, who were on a completely different wavelength, it ant ’give it your all and put on a good show.’
They imdiately charged forward, roaring as if they were on steroids. By the ti he realized what was happening and wanted to stop them, the mbers of the Snow Tiger Tribe had already rushed out from behind.

So, this was all just a huge misunderstanding sparked by his vanity.
But would the Angry Beast ever admit that?
Of course not. Looking at the fragrant pots of food all around and the roast at sizzling with fat over the fire pit, the Angry Beast felt that even his rear end didn’t hurt so much anymore.
’Didn’t the witch say that the tribes in the Polar Forest were all beasts who ate raw at and didn’t use salt?’
But he felt that wasn’t the case. Ever since he’d been threatened by that scary little female into coming to the Snow Tiger Tribe, he felt like he had even put on so weight.
Just then, a commotion stirred among the surrounding Snow Tiger Tribe mbers.
The Angry Beast slurped the food from his stone bowl and craned his neck to look. He saw that sa scary little female walking toward four much larger stoves in the center.
Behind her were four Beastman Warriors, each carrying a large stone pot. The water in the pots seed to be hot, as it was giving off billowing white steam.
But the four Beastman Warriors didn’t seem to feel the heat at all. Following the little female’s directions, they placed the stone pots on the four stoves.
A mont later, the water in the stone pots was boiling. Watching the bubbling water, Wu Yue finally looked up at the surrounding tribe mbers.
"I’m sure you’re all very curious why I had the Beastman Warriors prepare these four large stone pots.
It’s because we are going to boil the Iron Claw Worms that injured so many of our tribe mbers in these pots."
As she spoke, she turned with a wide smile to the two Beastman Warriors who had been washing the worms at the pool earlier. "Could you please bring over those tied-up Iron Claw Worms? Put two in each stone pot."
The two Beastman Warriors looked at the gentle smile on Wu Yue’s face, and a sudden chill ran up from the soles of their feet. They suddenly recalled what Wuyue had said today when they were envying the Iron Claw Worms for getting a bath.
’She’d wash them too when she had ti?’
’Hell no! So the washing was to prepare them for the pot! In that case, they’d much rather stay dirty.’
They imdiately put on fawning smiles and, as if they had grown eight legs, scurried over in the blink of an eye with eight Iron Claw Worms, placing them into the pots.
Curious tribe mbers ca over to watch. Even the little cub who had gotten its hand pinched by an Iron Claw Worm today was squirming in its Amu’s arms, wanting to see what the bug that pinched it would look like when it was boiled.
