Her gaze was unyieldingly firm. In that mont, Yuan Lang felt that the petite woman beside him, who only ca up to his shoulder, was no re female, but a powerhouse who could stand as his equal.
"Alright, I respect your choice."
After Yuan Lang left, Wu Yue went into her tent and lay down in her nest of grass.
"Host, that little show of yours just now was actually pretty good. You looked like you were glowing, surrounded by a golden light. It nearly blinded my titanium-alloy system eyes."
Wu Yue dragged it out of her shoulder bag and began to rough it up. "What do you an, ’spouting truths’? I’ve always been the type to shine, you know!"
A sudden silence fell over the tent.
A mont later, Wu Yue’s voice drifted out, "System, your host is about to head to the front lines. Isn’t there anything you can give to save my hide?"
The System smoothed out its disheveled fur, which had been mauled by its Dog Host, and said ruthlessly, "If you’re not looking for a ’gift,’ then yes, I have so things."

Looking at her still-substantial point balance, Wu Yue went to the System Mall and redeed them for so useful elixirs and items.
After eating that evening, she paid another visit to the Snow Tiger Witch’s cave and, under the witch’s pained gaze, made off with a bundle of precious herbs.
Gazing at the neatly packed wicker basket, she nodded in satisfaction. "Now this is perfect."
The rest of the items were in her System Space. She could just use the basket as a cover to pull them out later.
She then called Chang Ye over to give him so instructions, said a few words to Qingcao and Aya, and returned to her little nest to sleep.
Early the next morning, the mbers of the Snow Tiger Tribe gathered in the clearing to see off the tribespeople heading out to drive away the Fireball Beasts.
Seeing the petite female standing among a group of tall Beastn, the other won couldn’t help the deep worry that appeared in their eyes.
Tears even welled up in Qingcao and Aya’s eyes.
"Yue, you have to be careful out there."
"If there’s danger, just turn and run! Don’t worry about those Beastman Warriors."

The Snow Tiger Tribe was closer than the other two, so they were the first to arrive.
Looking at the herd of ’Red Bulls’ before her, Wu Yue was reminded of a very popular energy drink from Hua Country.
She had drunk it a few tis back when she used to pull all-nighters.
She’d heard from a friend that one can could keep you energized for ages, but she was the type who would be out like a light after a single can.
Red fur, sharp, dark-red curved horns... If you ignored their large, gentle, watery eyes, the Fireball Beasts’ appearance would definitely put them in the "fiery-tempered" category.
But...
Their group was standing right out in the open on the grassy field, yet the herd of ’Red Bulls’ nearby rely gave them a lazy glance before calmly lowering their heads to continue grazing.
’Talk about being unbothered, man!’
A few young Fireball Beasts seed very curious about these creatures who looked so different from them. They ca trotting over, TAP-TAP-TAP, and stared for a long ti with their big, watery eyes. They occasionally scuffed their hooves, as if wanting to co closer.
Each ti, an adult Fireball Beast nearby would let out a low bellow, and the little one’s half-raised hoof would imdiately drop back to the ground.
It would glance back at the beastn with great reluctance before trotting back to its parents’ side to frolic.
Watching them, Wu Yue found the scene incredibly charming.
One of the Fireball Beasts closer to them seed to have eaten its fill. It flicked its tail, and a mont later, with a soft PLOP, a pile of dung landed not far from the beastn.
The fresh pile of dung began to solidify in just a few monts, its color starting to grow pale.
Wu Yue was shocked. ’That dung dried way too quickly.’
A Beastman Warrior from the Black Wolf Tribe walked forward, expertly picked up the now-solid dung, and tossed it into the Beast Skin Bag he was holding.
