Especially since the Snow Tiger Tribe’s thod for building stone houses was still a closely guarded secret, impossible to obtain anyti soon.
Their most important objective for attending the tribal gathering in the Polar Forest was to bring back Fierce Beast Crystal Cores.
But she hadn’t expected the Shuishan Tribe to suddenly appear and ruin their plans. Far from acquiring more Crystal Stones, they had actually ended up with fewer.

As she ntioned Yuan Lang, she nervously clasped her hands in front of her, her pupils trembling slightly as she looked at the Snow Tiger Tribe Leader.
"A Beastman who just recently ca of age should be focused on contributing to the tribe, not finding a mate!"
The Yan Yan Tribe’s witch was already interested in Yuan Lang, so she naturally knew he was single. Her reason for asking the Snow Tiger Tribe Leader was to achieve another one of her goals.
The smile vanished from her face, replaced by a solemn expression as she looked at the Snow Tiger Tribe Leader. "Since you were unwilling to agree to the previous salt trade, Clan Leader..."
"Then how about you consider letting Yuan Lang beco my first mate?"
"If he becos my mate, I can swear to the Beast God that as soon as I beco the witch of the Yan Yan Tribe, any future salt trades with the Snow Tiger Tribe will be at half price."

The Snow Tiger Tribe Leader’s hand, holding his pottery bowl, trembled. He looked at the young female across from him in astonishnt.
He truly hadn’t imagined that this clever witch would go to such lengths for Yuan Lang.
But the Snow Tiger Tribe Leader remained calm. He set down his pottery bowl and said, "If you wish to beco mates with Yuan Lang, you’ll need his consent. I cannot agree on his behalf."
The smile on the witch’s face faltered. She thought of that tall, handso figure, of his coldness and how he ignored her every ti they t, and she felt her confidence drain away.
The entire reason she had co to the Snow Tiger Tribe Leader with such generous terms was to pressure Yuan Lang through the tribe, forcing him to agree to beco her mate.
But from the Snow Tiger Tribe Leader’s reaction, it seed the conditions she’d offered weren’t enough to make him do so.
’It’s all because of that damn Shuishan Tribe...’
Thinking of the biggest upset at the gathering, the Yan Yan Tribe’s witch seethed with frustration.
