Surviving the apocalypse with a wife and a system! [GL] Chapter 5: What truly happened?

That was how the plot was supposed to progress but it didn’t.

At that point, Yan Cijin’s heart and soul were filled with infinite rage and despair. So much so that, sothing happened. A miracle far beyond the comprehension of even the gods. The universe seed to acknowledge the feelings and desire of a character existing in words only!

Yan Cijin, in a way, awakened her consciousness at that mont. Her battered and injured body healed imdiately, and she found out everything.

From the very fact that she was but a re character in a book to the fact that her entire life, her daughter’s death, her mother’s death and even the fact that the only reason these n could get an upper hand against her was solely because of the words of a worthless author.

As she found out everything. She laughed. For the first ti in her life, she laughed like a madman. And then, the inevitable happened.

She killed every single one of those n in the most grueling way possible. But her rage and despair didn’t stop there. She had lost far too much because of the words of the damned author. She had lost her Yanyan, her mother, her friends and precious allies that she had made along the way. Having awakened herself, she was practically the god of this world. She didn’t want this cursed world to exist, so she detonated herself. She expanded her powers to its utmost limits and completely destroyed this world, and a fraction of her powers even tortured the original author to death.

The outburst of her powers was so great and in such magnitude that even though she only existed in the realms of fiction, her powers still affected the entire universe, the real universe. The effect was so great that the laws of the universe, the gods watching over everything, the laws of ti and space and the laws of creation and destruction, laws of life and death, all of it felt moved by her will and determination and her overflowing emotions.

The impact that she had was enough for the laws of the universe and laws of creation and destruction and life and death to make this world into a reality. The gods watching over everything, helped in the making of the world.

Now, the world which only ever existed in a person’s imagination, a world which was never ant to exist, a world whose only purpose was to satisfy the minds of a damned author, a world within words and sentences, beca real.

Fiction beca real but the world was still following the trajectory written in the book. After all, that was the very origin of this book and it couldn’t be changed, otherwise, it would not be the sa world, Yan Cijin would not be the sa Yan Cijin, nor any of the characters.

But now, if the newly created world also followed the words of the book, then that ans this world would also be destroyed by Yan Cijin. But this ti, the effect of the destruction would cause imasurable harm to the universe. Because this world is not just the world of a book anymore but a real, existing world.

To prevent that, the gods watching over everything decided to co up with a plan. They needed a host, a human from the real world to go to this world and prevent Yan Cijin from destroying the world.

But that is definitely not an easy task to do. The gods needed a perfect host. Soone who didn’t have any emotional or physical attachnt to their original world, soone who was physically and ntally far superior compared to other humans while being a human herself. Soone who was also on the verge of death or didn’t have long left to live and soone who had the ntal capacity to accept all this new and overbearing knowledge without collapsing ntally. And most of all, the host must be a woman.

With all these strict conditions, it was really hard for the gods to find a suitable host to carry out this task. They had gone to a lot of different dinsions and other planes and finally, I had the fortune of finding you.

In fact, before you, we had also tried a few other hosts, but they failed miserably. It took the laws of ti and space a lot of energy and effort to reverse the ti of this world to prevent destruction and right now, you, Bai Li, is our only hope. And don’t worry. If you can successfully complete this task, not only would you get to live in this world with a healthy body but also, we, the gods, would be willing to fulfill a few wishes for you as long as it’s within our capabilities and do not go against the laws."

The woman breathed out softly as she finished saying everything that she needed to say.

Bai Li listened to this long tale with visible interest in her eyes and hearing the last few words, she didn’t feel much excitent. Being able to live with a healthy body was all that she wanted at the mont.

Anyway, she was most curious about this female protagonist, Yan Cijin. Her life story, her struggles, everything about her really made Bai Li feel excited to et her. Such a woman, who could destroy an entire world by herself and even make fiction into a reality, she didn’t dare think just how amazing she must be in person.

Bai Li listened to her and after a few seconds, she nodded.

"Yes. I am."
