Luo Feng stood in his dwelling, gazing up at General Xuanjiao in the sky. Without hesitation, he declared, “It is my great fortune that the Emperor is willing to take as a disciple. I am, of course, willing.”

Luo Feng had already prepared himself for the possibility of being taken as a disciple by the Emperor and had carefully considered the implications.

Among the thirteen Emperors of the Ancient Fla Kingdom, Emperor Chu was known for his terrifying strength. Historical records of his few appearances described him as sweeping away other ancient beings. He was relatively low-key and had no notorious reputation, focusing primarily on his cultivation.

Becoming Emperor Chu’s disciple was sothing Luo Feng was willing to do.

He understood well that having a master like the Emperor would help him avoid many detours on his path to greater power.

“Very well, follow ,” General Xuanjiao said, finally allowing a smile. With a wave of his hand, an invisible force enveloped Luo Feng, and together they flew towards the Chu Palace.

“Brother Luo He, congratulations,” Emperor Chu Yu said during the flight.

“I must thank you, Brother Chu Yu, for bringing to the Chu Capital,” Luo Feng replied gratefully.

“Hahaha… With your strength, Brother Luo He, you would have risen quickly even without my help,” Emperor Chu Yu said.

Soon, under General Xuanjiao’s guidance, they arrived at the front of the Chu Palace.

“You may all leave now. I will take Luo He to et the Emperor,” General Xuanjiao ordered.

“Yes, General.” The guards withdrew, and Emperor Chu Yu smiled slightly as he remained outside the palace, not following further.

Luo Feng then followed General Xuanjiao into the palace, which seed to rge with the dark chaos surrounding it.

After a brief mont, Luo Feng and General Xuanjiao entered an ancient grand hall, where they saw a towering figure seated on the floor. This imposing figure sat as though he were the center of endless heavens and earth.

It was as if the world could perish, but he would remain.

His breathing alone was more terrifying than the might of the world itself.

As he looked at Luo Feng, the sensation made Luo Feng feel as though he were confronting the Origin Path of Life.

Luo Feng understood that this figure must be none other than Emperor Chu, one of the thirteen Emperors of the royal family.

“Emperor,” General Xuanjiao bowed, “I have brought Luo He.”

The Emperor nodded slightly, and General Xuanjiao imdiately retreated from the hall, leaving only Luo Feng and the Emperor.

“Luo He,” Emperor Chu said with a smile, “I’ve recently taken the ti to learn about your past. You hail from the Primal Universe?”

Luo Feng was startled but didn’t conceal anything, bowing as he replied, “Yes, I do co from the Primal Universe.”

The Emperor smiled approvingly, “Lifeforms from the Primal Universe are incredibly weak. It’s a struggle for them to even reach the level of a True God. That you’ve made it to the Chaos Realm Transcendent stage… is indeed impressive.”

“Don’t be tense. Almost all the ancient forebears of today’s cultivators ca from the Primal Universe. They ca to the Origin Continent and, after countless eras of reproduction, have given rise to the many beings here,” Emperor Chu explained. “The original natives of the Origin Continent are mostly confined to the Eastern Extre Domain.”

Luo Feng already knew this.

“Let ask you again, are you a reincarnated cultivator?” the Emperor asked. Despite the high level of skill within the Ancient Fla Kingdom, it was still impossible to override the supre rules governing the universe.

“No, I am not,” Luo Feng answered honestly.

The Emperor nodded.

“Among the thirteen Emperors, I have the fewest disciples—only two,” the Emperor said as he looked at Luo Feng. “I choose my disciples based on two criteria: talent and compatibility in temperant. Your talent is impressive, and I find your character agreeable, which is why I’ve decided to take you as a disciple.”

The Emperor continued, “But before you formally beco my disciple, think carefully about whether you truly want this.”

“Becoming a disciple is a significant karmic bond.”

“The bond between a master and disciple is no less than that of blood relatives,” the Emperor said. “The master chooses the disciple, and the disciple also chooses the master! Consider carefully. Once you beco my disciple, the other most supre beings on the Origin Continent will no longer be able to take you as a disciple.”

Luo Feng understood that becoming a disciple involved deep karmic ties! But how many of the supre beings on the Origin Continent would even consider taking him as a disciple? Moreover, Luo Feng had his principles—he would not willingly bow to beings with heinous reputations.

“Disciple has already thought it through.” Luo Feng imdiately knelt, pressing his head to the ground in a deep bow, “Disciple Luo Feng greets his master.”

“Luo Feng?” Emperor Chu was slightly surprised.

“Luo Feng is my true na, but due to certain karmic ties, I’ve been using the na Luo He,” Luo Feng explained. Since he had decided to take the Emperor as his master, he saw no reason to hide his true na.

“Hahaha… Good, good, good!” The Emperor laughed heartily. “From today onward, Luo Feng, you are my third personal disciple!”

“Luo Feng, do you need my help in resolving the karmic ties you ntioned?” the Emperor asked.

“No need, Master. I can handle them myself,” Luo Feng replied.

The Emperor nodded in satisfaction, “Since you are entangled in karma, I will also keep your true na confidential.” The Emperor was pleased to see that Luo Feng wanted to solve his own problems.

“Now that you’ve formally beco my disciple, I have three gifts for you.” The Emperor looked at Luo Feng. “The first gift is that the two legacies you’ve chosen, The First Tribulation of the Eight Tribulations Life Form and The First Volu of the Seventy-Two Slashes of Extermination, once you’ve mastered them, you will receive the subsequent parts of these legacies for free.”

“Of course, the legacies I can provide for free do not exceed the Ultimate Divine King level,” the Emperor said.

Luo Feng was overjoyed.

He would receive the complete content of these two legacies for free up to the Ultimate Divine King level?

The First Tribulation of the Eight Tribulations Life Form and the First Volu of the Seventy-Two Slashes of Extermination were both at the Divine King First Stage, each valued at around 100,000 rit points. Going further, the Divine King Second Stage thods would require around 3 million rit points, and the Divine King Third Stage (Ultimate) thods would cost around 100 million rit points.

So Divine King guest elders had to fight for the Ancient Fla Kingdom to the death to earn these thods.

Two legacies, worth about 200 million rit points! And Luo Feng would receive them all for free as his cultivation progressed. This was the difference between an outsider and a personal disciple.

“The second gift I give you,” the Emperor continued, retrieving a stone box. When the box was opened, it revealed ten faintly red fruits. rely slling their fragrance made Luo Feng feel as if his soul were being nourished, his thoughts speeding up several tis over. “These are Primordial Crystal Spirit Fruits, which were gifted to by the Ancestor. They are of no use to now, so I’m giving ten of them to you.”

“These Primordial Crystal Spirit Fruits are grown from a tree nurtured by Primordial Crystal Jade. They have a miraculous effect on nourishing the soul, making it more attuned to the supre rules, and greatly enhancing comprehension,” the Emperor explained. “They are not native to this source world, and their numbers are extrely limited. You cannot exchange rit points for them, so use them sparingly.”

“I suggest you take five while at the Chaos Realm level, and the remaining five when you reach the Divine King First Stage.”

“Yes, Master,” Luo Feng felt the depth of his master’s care.

The Emperor looked at Luo Feng, “What weapon do you use most often?”

Luo Feng flipped his hand, revealing the Blood Shadow Knife: “This knife.”

The Emperor glanced at it, “It’s a Divine King-level knife embryo?”

After a mont of thought, the Emperor produced a clump of seven-colored soil and casually tossed it onto the Blood Shadow Knife. The knife hungrily absorbed the soil, swallowing it completely in almost no ti.

“Originally, your knife embryo could only reach the level of a Divine King First Stage weapon,” the Emperor said. “But now its potential has increased significantly, and it might reach the Ultimate Divine King weapon level.”

“I’ve given you the main material, but you’ll need to gather the auxiliary materials yourself. The most critical part of nurturing a knife embryo is that you do it personally. Here is a detailed thod for nurturing your weapon.” As the Emperor spoke, a stream of light fell upon Luo Feng, containing a secret technique for nurturing weapons.

The Emperor continued, “The Ancestor has decreed that even personal disciples must earn their own rit points.”

“Master has already done so much for ,” Luo Feng said gratefully.

Each of the three gifts was of imnse value.

“I’m not good at instructing disciples,” the Emperor said, looking at Luo Feng. “I’m not skilled in the Origin Path of Life, so you’ll have to rely on yourself for

that. However, the Origin Path of Destruction is my path as well. If you have any doubts, you can co to .”

Luo Feng nodded, “Disciple understands.”

“Is there anything you’d like to ask now?” the Emperor inquired.

“Not at the mont,” Luo Feng shook his head.

His understanding of the Origin Path of Destruction was still shallow, not even at the pinnacle of the Chaos Realm. He was still in a period of rapid growth. When he encountered bottlenecks and progress beca difficult, he would then seek his master’s guidance.

“Very well.” The Emperor nodded with a smile. “As my personal disciple, you will have priority in choosing many special tasks. These tasks are first offered to you before they are distributed to the royal family’s First-Class Marquises.”

“I understand,” Luo Feng nodded.

“Go now. Cultivate well and beco a Divine King as soon as possible. Among my disciples… none have yet beco a Divine King,” the Emperor said with a sigh.

“Disciple will strive with all his might,” Luo Feng said, bowing deeply. “Disciple takes his leave.”

Luo Feng then exited the grand hall.

As he gazed out at the dark, chaotic expanse outside the hall, Luo Feng couldn’t help but feel a surge of excitent.

The ten Primordial Crystal Spirit Fruits gifted by his master were incredibly precious. Just the fragrance alone had significant benefits for cultivation. How much more powerful would the effects be when consud? Since arriving on the Origin Continent, this was the first ti Luo Feng had encountered such a rare treasure!

He couldn’t wait to return and try one.

Inside the grand hall, the Emperor watched Luo Feng leave.

“My third personal disciple,” the Emperor said, shaking his head slightly. “Unfortunately, my abilities are limited, and I cannot guide my disciples well.”

Among the thirteen Emperors, Emperor Qing was revered for his high level of cultivation. He could quickly identify problems in his disciples’ various paths and guide them toward better thods, even if they followed different paths.

But Emperor Chu? He could only provide more precious resources; everything else depended on the disciples themselves.

“What does it matter if I take disciples?” The Emperor gazed out at the endless heavens and earth beyond the hall. “This source world will have its end one day. How many will survive when that ti cos?”

“Even the Ancestor is groping forward in the dark. Emperor Qing has embarked on this path and may one day assist the Ancestor.”

“But the rest of us, the other twelve, while strong enough within the Origin Continent, what do we count for outside this source world?”

“And as for my disciples, they probably won’t even have the chance to leave the source world.”
